About

With the recent success of Halvorsen's camp, Dan has ventured into the world of promoting fights. Halvorsen's now runs a small organization that puts together fights for fighters around the world looking for exposure. Dan pulled some strings and has landed himself a television deal on Amerisports Extreme, which will air Halvorsen's Invitational a 16 man tournament. We will follow the winners of the Halvorsen Invitational as they go on to achieve further success. In addition we will follow any fighters who join Halvorsen's gym which has recently been rumored to be looking to add talent.

Game Changes

I am using the default data. I have changed it so that HILITE and Q-Cage are now open and both have enough money to survive a few years. Q-Cage's strawweight division has been swapped to a featherweight division as there were problems in my last run with the strawweight division not activated after fighters were generated. Both companies have been opened so that unemployed American fighters get onto local shows more often much like other regions.

I also added XCC a welterweight division, this should allow them to run more shows and use up some of the unemployed welterweights. Plus I'm sure it helps with GAMMA always stealing talent. They will also need this in two years when I add GAMMA a featherweight division.

Halvorsen's Invitational promotion was created with standard rules and no titles. We are set at National level at 10% so that I can run the reality show.

Halvorsen's gym was expanded to hold more fighters 12/12 and any areas that are that were labeled untrained are now average. I did that in hopes that it will keep fighters in the camp longer.

Predictions

Feel free to predict shows, I will keep track of them. I will tally up predictons at the end of each game year and the user with the most correct can choose a fighter for me to shortlist.

Maarten De Vries joins Halvorsens, Matthew Dean and Jackson Gray visiting!

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/WMMA4/MaartenDeVries.gifhttp://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/WMMA4/MatthewDean.gifhttp://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/WMMA4/JacksonGray.gif

GAMMA icon and former Middleweight champion, Maarten De Vries, has officially signed with Halvorsen's bringing with him his vast experience and easy recognition as a fan favorite of GAMMA's. De Vries has been slumping of late but Dan has a plan for getting De Vries back on track and headed towards another shot against the man who is now also visiting Halvorsen's for training. That's right, Matthew Dean is now visiting Halvorsen's for training. Dan Halvorsen was quoted in saying that he was "very excited to work with the current GAMMA middleweight champion" and was "honored to have him train in our gym." The champion brings a vast knowledge of fighting to the camp but Dan was sure he could teach Dean a trick or two and promised to have him in the best shape of his career for his next fight, which has yet to be announced. The champ isn't the only new fighter visiting as Jackson "Pocket Rocket" Gray has joined him in visiting Camp Halvorsen's. Jackson Gray is an XCC Lightweight with over 30 fights in his career. Gray looks to make a name for himself in the XCC lightweight ranks and will face Brendon Job in March. With the current success of Halvorsen's gym, Jackson, Dean, and De Vries are in good hands and with the recent announcement of his small promotion, the future is looking bright for Dan Halvorsen.
