Lucas
Hi selekeurti84, Steam is available for PC/Mac/Linux but games on the Steam platform will only work on the platforms they have been released for. So TEW2010 and WMMA3 is PC only. There are ways you can play PC titles on Mac: Using Wine (free): http://www.easypctutorials.com/windows-steam-on-mac-wineskin/ Using CrossOver (costs £38): https://www.codeweavers.com/products/ Using Parallels or VMWare (about £60 + you need a Windows installation) Using Boot Camp on Mac (You need a Windows installation) None of these are supported by GDS mind you, but I have used the above before without any problems, for the Steam titles and the latest GDS ones too. We are APW
Any chance of an update on how the steam releases went, and what's going to happen in the future with less obsolete games? Any info appreciated. Thanks!
Arlie Rahn
It's gone pretty well. The initial release was great for the first month, but sales have tapered off a bit since. We are hoping for a nice push based on the current 75% promotion. From a business standpoint, we made the decision to use a publisher for Steam. It had some pretty big advantages for us (no greenlight needed, they did a lot of the marketing items, they did the wrapper/install development and we can take part in more sales/events). However, we make a much lower % off sales on Steam than we do from the site. So, I wouldn't expect new releases to go right to Steam anytime soon, but we do plan on getting more and more games on there down the road (even the latest version of a few titles). EuchreJack
Congratulations, and welcome to Steam! Hope you will be able to offer more games on Steam.
wobbleidz
I'll buy TEW 2016 only if it comes out on steam, I'm sick of the e-license archaic ways, steam is so much easier to use. I'd be willing to pay more for it if it would be on steam else no way i'm buying it.. oh well
Adam Ryland
To recap in case you missed the announcement, TEW2016 will be on Steam eventually, but it is unlikely to be for at least a year.

THE Big Hugs Guy
Adam, I have a big question for you? With the upcoming release of TEW 2016 ,and also the knowledge that a lot of TEW fans (myself included) arn't able to buy TEW out side of Steam e.g. billpayer's permission, do you plan to release TEW 2013 on Steam. My hopes and dreams rely on this answer:o
Adam Ryland
Yes, this was confirmed a while ago in the TEW2016 FAQ.
THE Big Hugs Guy
Adam, do you know how long it will be till TEW 2013 is released on Steam. I've realized I forgot to ask that in my previous post. Still, thank you very much for responding. I've never seen a game dev that is so caring and in touch with the community😃
Adam Ryland
No, I have no idea, sorry. I'd imagine it would be this year, but I can't make any guarantees or promises as that's nothing to do with me.
Arlie Rahn
I would guess by the 4th quarter 2016. But our Steam publisher, Adam and myself have some work to do before that can happen. Once it becomes official, we will make an announcement here.
Consiglieri
I think it´s sad that WMMA4 is not at steam, but if I buy it on here, will I then get a Steam code, when it comes out on steam, or do I then have to also buy it there?
