WrongWay
My spell checking program says No, but I use this word all the time in my online games? The word simulating just does not hold the same meaning as simming for me. We will be simming the Preseason weeks on Thursday. We will be simulating the Preseason Weeks on Thursday. Sorry, I just don't like the way simulating sounds in that sentence.

WrongWay
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simming
Ugh, that was a frustating read. Does that mean I am using the word "Simming" incorrectly?
XellenceOfXecution
The Wikipedia doesn't really give the answer you want, does it? My opinion is if you use the word and others understand what you mean when you use it and you use it enough, eventually it will become a word. So keep on "simming"! You have my support. ;) PS- Spellchecking programs are a pain in the butt!
btmlltt
Sim is a slong short-form of simulate. Simming is a perfectly natural construction of the slang-term sim. But it's not a real word (yet).
