Rewriting MMA History - A What-If Dynasty

Recommended Posts

In my idle time I'm playing with the idea of rewriting MMA history - what if started at the turn of the 20th century, forming a kind of MMA world federation without those bids around various world championships?

I've always thought a sport is better when there's only one organization/federation paving the way for only one set of world champions. Look at another sports... There's only one Olympics, only one Football World Cup, and even only one Major League Baseball, one Super Bowl and so... The main reason for all the MMA disreputation is the bitter battle around the organizations trying to be "the world's best", as in boxing (although UFC would be an example of this nowadays, thre's still some threats).

But well... turning back to the dynasty, I'm starting a US-based organization, the only one in my universe aiming to expand steadly around the world. In a world without radio (pre-Roarin' 20s) I created the Western Union telegraph company as a broadcaster, with aims to recreate all the radio, TV and Internet broadcasting as time goes by.
