Because of E-License problems on my laptop, it's impossible for me to play elicensed games so no WMMA4 for me unless it comes out on steam.

I bought WMMA3 (and TEW2013) on Steam a while ago and I think it's fun for me, and hopefully for others, to start a WMMA3 / UFC Dynasty.

I am now in week 4 of May 2013 of the game and have held a UFC card almost every week. My schedule is:

UFC Fight Night: Sunday week 1 of every month

UFC on Fight Pass: Sunday week 2 of every month

UFC on Fox: Sunday week 3 of every month

UFC PPV: Sunday week 4 on every month

Champions:

UFC Heavyweight Champion:

Junior Dos Santos (17-3 / 2 time champion)

Junior Dos Santos regained his title at UFC181 by beating the champion Cain Velasquez by TKO (Strikes) in round 3. It was the fourth fight between these archrivals. Having won the first encounter in 2011, Dos Santos lost his title in December 2012 to Velasquez and was also unsuccesful in his first attempt to get his title back in October 2013. At UFC181 in January 2015, Dos Santos managed to beat Cain for the second time in his career and now he is preparing to defend his title at UFC188 against Fabricio Werdum.

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion:

Daniel Cormier (16-0)

At UFC183 in March this year, Daniel Cormier beat the champion Jon Jones to become UFC Lightweight Champion. Jones was dethroned after an impressive title run of exactly four years. Anthony Johnson, Rafael Cavalcante or Ryan Bader are named as possible future challengers.

UFC Middleweight Champion:

Chris Weidman (13-0)

The undefeated Chris Weidman won the title in July 2013 by beating Anderson Silva who had a title run of almost 7 years ! Weidman succesfully defended his title last month (April) against Vitor Belfort. He won the match by unanimous decision after 5 rounds.

UFC Welterweight Champion:

Rory McDonald (19-2)

25 year old Rory McDonald won the title back in February of this year by beating champion Johny Hendricks by submission (Arm Triangle) in round 2. Tyron Woodley is likely to be the first challenger to his title but nothing is official yet.

UFC Lightweight Champion:

Khabib Nurmagomedov (23-0)

With his incredible MMA record, the 26 year old Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of the top stars of UFC and the MMA world in general.

The Sambo expert won the title in November 2014 in a most impressive way by knocking out champion Anthony Pettis in the third round. Nurmagomedov will make his first title defence at the end of July at UFC187 against 'Cowboy' Donald Cerrone.

UFC Featherweight Champion:

Jose Aldo (25-1)

Jose Aldo is the current #1 pound for pound fighter in the world.

Aldo is the Featherweight champ for more than 4 years now since he won the title in November 2010. His next title defence will be in about 5 weeks time at UFC187 against Frankie Edgar. This will be Edgar's second attempt to beat Aldo for the title as he failed to beat the champ at UFC156 in February of 2013.

UFC Bantamweight Champion:

Dominick Cruz (20-1 / 2 time champion)

Cruz won the Bantamweight Title, for the second time in his career, at UFC185 where he defeated T.J. Dillashaw in five rounds by unanimous decision.

UFC Flyweight Champion

Demetrious Johnson (22-2-1)

Mighty Mouse won the title in September 2012 and had 5 succesful title defenses since then. His last defence was in March of this year at UFC Fight Night where he defeated John Dodson by UD. His next fight is not yet announced by Ali Bagautinov, Joseph Benavidez or John Lineker are named as possible challengers.

UFC Womens Bantamweight Champion:

Ronda Rousey (11-0)

The undefeated Ronda Rousey is a media magnet and the absolute biggest female star in the fighting universe. Rousey won the title in February 2013 and nobody has been able to beat her yet. She beat Sarah Kaufman in March in her fourth title defence. At UFC on Fight Pass in June, Rousey will defend her title against Miesha Tate.

UFC Womens Strawweight Champion

Jessica Penne (12-2)

The Womens Strawweight division was quite understaffed when I joined UFC in November 2014. Since then, I have been busy signing female strawweights from all over the world and the division now hosts 27 fighters which'still isnt enough. The first ever championship match was held last month (April) between Jessica Penne and Tecia Torres. Penne knocked Torres out in round 1 and become the first ever UFC Womens Strawweight Champion. It has been rumoured that the undefeated Joanne Calderwood (9-0) will be her first challenger but we'll have to see about that.

UFC185: Dillashaw vs Cruz

Sunday week 4 of May

From: Florida

Attendance: 14.695

Prelims:

Lightweight: Tony Martin beat Tae Yung Bang by UD (Decent)

Tony Martin was superior in this fight. Bang had no answer to Martin’s Muay Thai Clinches and took a few big strikes and was cut above the eye.

Featherweight: Jim Alers beat Juan Manuel Puig by TKO / Round 2 – 4:39 (Good)

Puig landed a big strike on Alers in round 2 but Alers survived. Alers took the fight to the ground and applied a rear naked choke but Puig didn’t give up. Alers started pounding away on Puig and the ref stopped the fight.

Featherweight: Douglas Silva de Andrade beat Niklas Backstrom by TKO / Round 2 – 3:31 (Fantastic)

A great standup match in which both fighters got their shots in. In round 2 Silva de Andrade scored a big strike and Backstrom was up for grabs. Silva kept on pounding and the fight was stopped. It will be hard to bypass this match for the fight of the night award.

W. Bantamweight: Raquel Pennington beat Polyana Viana Mota by UD (Decent)

The first MMA career loss for Mota. Pennington’s experience was a major factor in this match.

Bantamweight: Chris Beal beat Davey Grant by SD (Average)

The first round was exciting with a great standup game from both fighters. In round 2 and round 3 Grant tried to score a takedown on Beal but he failed.

Main card:

Heavyweight: Levan Razmadze beat Victor Pesta by UD (Poor)

Despite having a judo and a wrestling specialist face each other, neither fighter even tried to go for a takedown. Razmadze’s standing game was superior.

Welterweight: Martin Kampman beat Mike Pierce by submission / Round 2 – 3:43 (Good)

Kampmann proved to be the better grappler when the fight went to the ground and when he locked Pierce in an omoplata, he made him tap !

Heavyweight: Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira beat Soa Palelei by SD (Awful)

Both fighters were gassed pretty early in the match and it made an awful bout. Nogueira got the win by SD but Palelei was definitely the better man. Bad decision.

Co-Main Event:

Light Heavyweight: Dan Henderson beats Rafael Cavalcante by KO / Round 3 – 3:05 (Good)

Cavalcante almost Ko’ed Henderson in round 1 after Henderson shot in for a failed takedown. Henderson recuperated and in round 2 he wanted the fight to go to the ground. Henderson had locked Cavalcante in a americana but Cavalcante was saved by the bell. In round 3, Henderson delivered an enormous right hook that immediately knocked out Cavalcante.

Main event:

For the UFC Bantamweight Championship: Dominick Cruz beat T.J. Dillashaw © by UD (Very Poor)

Cruz was the better fighter and grappler throughout the fight and he fully deserved the win.

Fight of the Night: Silva de Andrade vs Backstrom

KO of the Night: Henderson

Preview: UFC Fight Night: Faber vs Gamburyan

Sunday, week 1 of June from Idaho

Height: 5'6 - Height: 5'5

From: Davis, California - From: Hollywood, California

Style: Wrestling - Style Judo

Pro Record: 32-7 - Pro Record: 14-9

If Urijah Faber wins this match, he might be the next challenger to new UFC Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz. With six wins in his last seven fights, Faber proved he is hard to beat and with having 74% of his wins earned by submission, Faber is a major threat to anyone in the Bantamweight division. Manny Gamburyan doesn't have the best MMA record and many believe he will lose but at the end of the day, you never know.

Co-Main Event:

Light Heavyweight:

Jimi Manuwa vs Ovince St. Preux

Age: 35 - Age: 32

Height: 6'0 - Height: 6'3

Jimi Manuwa was undefeated when he joined UFC in 2012. After three straight wins by TKO, he was defeated by Alexander Gustafsson in March of 2014. At UFC179 in November 2014, Manuwa defeated Hans Stringer by UD. A win over St. Preux will earn him a good ranking in the LH Division. His pro record is better than that of his opponent but the taller St.Preux did only lose twice in his last eleven fights.

Featherweight: Clay Guida (31-16) vs Dennis Siver (23-10)

UFC News:

Two fighters in the UFC Heavyweight division have announced their retirement: Hall of Famer and MMA pioneer Dan 'The Beast' Severn finally decided to hang up his gloves. Severn was brought in several months ago with the purpose of feeding him to young up and comers and he suffered two submission defeats since rejoining UFC. 38 year old Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (35-10-1-1 NC) defeated Soa Palelei at UFC185 and announced his retirement afterwards. UFC plans a retirement match between Severn and Nogueira somewhere in September of this year so one of them will go out with a blast.

The Heavyweight division needs a couple of additions and the first one will be 29 year old fighter Ryan Martinez (12-4) from Greeley, Colorado. Martinez' contract with Bellator MMA was expiring and Dana White was happy to pick him up. With already two wins under his belt in 2015, Martinez is looking forward to climb the ladder in the UFC Heavyweight division.

Another addition to the Heavyweight division is former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon 'Bones' Jones. Jones dominated the LH division for years until he was beaten by Daniel Cormier by split decision at UFC183 in March of this year. After a meeting with UFC CEO Dana White, Jones decided he wanted to compete in the Heavyweight division. He is scheduled to fight Travis Browne in the third week of June on UFC on Fox: Jones vs Browne.

Prelims:

Middleweight: James Te Huna(17-8) beats Buddy Roberts (12-4) by KO / Round 2 – 1:01 (Fantastic)

Buddy Robers was the way more efficiënt striker in round 1 and he had Te Huna on rubbery legs after a huge kick but Te Huna was saved by the bell. After one minute in the second round, Te Huna delivered an enormous KO to Roberts out of nowhere !

Gadelha remains undefeated and Kish lost her undefeated streak.

From: Riverside, California - From: Yelm, Washington

Style: Judo - Style Wrestling

Ronda Rousey is the megastar of womens MMA and a mainstream celebrity. Don’t let her looks fool you, she is a destructive force inside the octagon. In nine of her wins she ended the fight in the first round. In March of this year, Sarah Kaufman was the first opponent who was handed defeat by unanimous decision as she managed to complete the full five rounds against Rousey. Rousey’s opponent Miesha Tate is well known with Rousey’s abilities as she suffered defeat twice at the hands of her next opponent. In March of 2012 Rousey defeated Tate by submission in round 1 at Strikeforce: Tate vs Rousey. In december of 2013 Tate got a rematch under UFC’s wings at UFC168 but again, Rousey won by submission altough Tate was the first opponent who managed to last more than two rounds against Rousey. Since that loss, Tate has won three fights in a row against Liz Carmouche, Rin Nakai and Alexis Davis, who she defeated by submission in January at Fight Night: Cerrone vs Ebersole. Tate has said she is more than ready for Rousey, having learned from her mistakes in the past encounters.

Height: 6'10 - Height: 6'4

Towering over most of his opponents, Stefan ‘Skyscraper’ Struve is a force to be reckoned with in the UFC Heavyweight division. Struve had a streak of four wins until he lost to , the now retired, Mark Hunt in March 2013. In February of this year, Struve was set to fight his fellow Dutch countrymen Alistair Overeem in the first UFC event ever held in the Netherlands. Overeem knocked the much taller Struve out in round 1. Struve's opponent Brendan Schaub, a former fullback for the University of Colorado, is also coming off from two losses in a row, against Andrei Arlovski and Todd Duffee, so both fighters will have a lot to prove.

UFC News

Light Heavyweight fighter Anthony Perosh (14-8) has announced his retirement from active MMA at the age of 43 after his upcoming fight against Igor Prokajac at UFC on Fight Pass: Rousey vs Tate.

Speaking of retirement, in the last news bulletin we told you that Dan Severn (56 years old) and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (38) had announced their retirements and that UFC had planned a retirement match between those two. However, shortly after we brought this news, Antonio Rodrigo’s twin brother Antonio Rogerio Nogueira also announced his retirement from the sports. As a result of this UFC is planning a brother vs brother retirement match at UFC189 in September of this year. Antonio Rogerio has to bulk up to Heavyweight to compete in this match. What a way for both brothers to end their career, no matter who gets the win !

A new rookie has been added to the UFC Heavyweight Division. His name is Francisco Alexander (0-0) and he hails from Huntington Beach, California. He will make his MMA debut against Richardson Moreira (7-2) at UFC on Fox: Johnson vs Bader on Sunday in the third week of July.

Another new addition, to the Lightweight division, is Joe Duarte (10-3) who’s contract with Bellator MMA expires this month. Duarte, who’s style is Muay Thai, was beaten in his last match in July 2012 against Ryan Couture. Altough signed by Bellator, he never competed for that company.
