Fusion Pro Wrestling - 2001

Recommended Posts

After his failed attempt to purchase WCW, billionaire Michael Melon decided that it was time to open his own wrestling promotion. He has conquered multiple business ventures and now he is turning his attention to the wrestling industry.

To accomplish this dream Michael Melon created Fusion Pro Wrestling in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. He used his money and influence in the city to bring in some good talent to begin his quest to the top. Michael wanted to blend in traditional wrestling, with hard hitting contests mixed with more modern day storytelling.

I attempted a modern day dynasty but I soon realized that I was completely overwhelmed by all the shows and storylines. I am using Genadi's 2001 mod with minor modification. Fusion Pro Wrestling will start as a small promotion, due to Michael Melon being a billionaire and I do not like the rise from local to small. I hope people follow this. I also have to add a disclaimer that I have taken A LOT of influence from Nobby_McDonald and have blatantly stolen some of his PPV and match ideas because they are just so darn good.

Thanks Russelrules44 for predicting

Russelrules44: 5/9

I was a little disappointed in a few of the matches but overall I was happy. Next time I plan on writing out different match descriptions but I just wanted to get this under my belt. I am going to slowly introduce some storylines but am trying to get some game time under my belt as well as finalize a roster.
