Edd is a frequent visitor to this unknown territory. "Dude, I hope that sick angle was worth my head exploding. Ah, it’s probably Doug being too rough on me...wait, wasn't he Eddie?" ... "Wait...where am I? Don't tell me I'm in Tana’s bed again?" Green glow emits from the right. Edd investigates. "Dude...no way this is, like, in Tana’s bed. This must be different." Edd approaches a weird grey cylindrical machine. It seems to be the emitter for the green glow. Edd freezes in awe, before the world around him turns dark purple (with fancy triangles too). He’s rendered speechless. Suddenly, a womanly robotic voice bellows. “Welcome to the Alternate Reality Simulator. You are now being imported into the universe. “Dude, sweet! Is it like some swaggy party?” Suddenly, the world turns bright red, screaming out at him. #WTF? “ERROR! ERROR!! Edd_Stone.pkg already exists! Backup generating! Replacing body_22446 and brain_35179.exe to default.” “Dude WTF! Let me out of here! I promise I'll drop the title next week! Dude...is that a suit? A monotone voicebox? But I’ve got some idea that might just work…" “Then why should it challenge either of them? Even with some of the talent who are going to show up at the qualifiers, we can't easily compete with those two. I recommend we challenge the prime time dramas, the soap operas, purely on the basis of our star power. We’ve got Antonio Maxi Marquez, quite possibly the biggest star in Mexico. We've got Andrew Hawkins, the star of one of our top shows. We've got MMA legends. We may benefit from promotion, too, by GAMMA, ALPHA-1, and we can even do talent trades. We've even got superstar Ja-” “Woah, shut your mouth, mate. We don't have a spoilers demographic!" "Ffffff..." "S...so you don't like my idea?" "Bloody hell mate, I love your idea, Razza! Lord knows what could have been yet another season of Redwood and Byron. We both know that show's been bleeding money since...2009? This is the perfect opportunity to replace it! Who wouldn't want to see [classified information] be beaten up by everyone?" "...antastic!" "With all due respect, sir, he won't be beaten up by everyone." "No ****, mate! Doubt he could last against you." A few chuckles were shared as we had a quick laugh. “Tell you what, I’ll scratch Redwood and Byron. Lord knows, maybe Redwood will get absolutely sloshed, while Byron will have a hissy fit. Your idea is worth much more than having to listen to him again. You’ve got a whole 2 hour show every week. Psycho Sam
Pre-diary notes: -As seen in the first post (and definitely in most other posts), very little is actually canonical to the C-Verse as a whole. If you're turned off by mass-retcons, then this diary is definitely not the place for you. -Game data has been edited, though it is only raising popularity for people not based in the USA to match their foreign popularity; this should 1) more accurately match a ‘global’ competition, and 2) not make Japanese superstars jobbers in this game. Again, if you’re turned off by it then once again this diary isn’t for you. -Updates won’t tend to be consistent. At the least, I’ll aim to have a show up at least once a fortnight. Anyway: here's the first half of our competitors. Second half will most likely come in a couple of days. ---- http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Zoe%20Ammis_zpsduvppbhm.jpg Out of over 1550 potential athletes who signed up, we ran them through a BRUTAL qualifying session, all to pick our top competitors. The gods above have picked our top 32 competitors who will compete in this grand tournament! I’m Agent 69, AKA Zoe Ammis, and I’ll be your host for this tournament. Let's take a look at 16 of those competitors, right now. ---THE WARRIORS (part 1)--- 'MILE HIGH' ADAM MATRAVERS http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Adam%20Matravers_zpsa7ulmsdi.jpg At 33 years old, Adam Matravers is a former trampolinist, who has recently been making waves on YouShoot for his recent performances in 2012. One who has been singled out as ‘Britain’s Greatest Trampolinist', he looks to go to the 2016 Olympics. Adam has been an avid fan of MMA, and hopes he can soar ahead of the competition with his skills. ALEX 'THE THINKER' DECOLT http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Alex%20DeColt_zpsfcwvgjx8.jpg A former boxing champion, and the biggest strategist in boxing, Alex DeColt is regarded as the most successful of the DeColt family. At 38, Alex has been looking for other ways to utilize his boxing skills, adding in a bit of amateur wrestling to his arsenal of moves. Will his smartness prevail in this tournament? ANDREW 'WOLF' HAWKINS http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Wolf%20Hawkins_alt4_zpswrmzmn0g.jpg Andrew Hawkins is best known to fans as the host of the outdoor survival program 'Wolf vs Nature', where he is pitted against the forces of nature in extreme locations. Best known for tearing a bear apart, he hopes that his wilderness survival skills translates to his survival of the tournament. CHRISTIAN FAITH http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Christian%20Faith_zpslktzgew0.jpg Bikee Christian Faith has been on the road for many years. Travelling through the U.S.A on his Harley, he has also participated in many toughman competitions over the years in several places, even winning the prized ‘R.K Hayes Toughman Championship’ in 2009. Christian Faith has a huge tolerance for pain, and he hopes that will take him to the championship. 'THE ROGUE' JACK GIEDROYC http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Rogue_alt1_zpsrltsxejf.jpg British competitor Jack Giedroyc is perhaps more known for his tenure as a parkour master alongside his cousin, Joey Poison. Both of them have starred in several trending YouShoot videos showing them doing daring and illegal parkour runs, hence the nickname ‘Rogue’. Jack wants to get more noticed, so he and his cousin went to the qualifiers. Both did amazingly well, however, Joey Poison just barely missed the mark, coming in at 33. This hasn't stopped them from preparing for this contest, if anything, they're more motivated by it. JAY CHORD http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Jay%20Chord_zpssartcom9.jpg If you have heard of Jay Chord, then you most likely have heard of Rip Chord, the legendary guitarist for the band ‘Attitude Adjustment’ back in the 1980s-1990s. While Jay has inherited his father’s legendary guitar playing skills, he has also inherited his father’s cocky attitude, himself being a common target for tabloids, whether it be due to his notorious usage of drugs, alcohol or his inability to not call out anyone. He’s been featured in GAMMA’s famous MMA reality tv program ‘Clash of the Titans’ in Season 23: Oleg vs. Russif, where he was a semi-finalist, losing to the winner, Mali Kovonako. He has shown interest in displaying his fighting skills, and this competition will test his ability to prove he is as good as he says. MIKEY JAMES http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Mikey%20James_zpsgsmalhfc.jpg Black belt in Karate? Check. World-class kick boxer? Check. Has real potential to last through this stage? Check. Mikey James is an accomplished athlete, and a huge fan of MMA. He has stepped into the ring a few times and has gotten the better of his opponents with his exciting skill-set and talent. He hopes that a victory in this tournament allows many numerous MMA promotions, such as GAMMA, to offer him contracts. 'BIG SMACK' SCOTT SINCLAIR http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Big%20Smack%20Scott_zpsovgpgwu1.jpg Working as a bouncer for the infamous gay club ‘Club X’, Scott Sinclair is well known as an extremely malicious, and dangerous, person to be around with. Being in many brawls around the USA, Scott threw away a huge opportunity by violently brawling with Victor Timson during the 17th season of GAMMA: Clash of the Titans, resulting in him being booted out, many felt he had a huge chance of winning. With another opportunity at him, will he throw it away again? STEVE 'THE POWER' DECOLT http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Steve%20Decolt_zpsmvknm5z9.jpg While people say Alex has been the most successful of the DeColts, there is no doubt that Steve's skills rivals Alex, some say surpassing him entirely. Displaying some animosity towards Alex in particular for an unknown event, Steve has outright stated he would crush Alex and become the first tournament winner. Steve's skills in boxing have been matched with his focus towards weightlifting and power for this tournament, even crushing Ricky DeColt through the ring once in preparation. Will his power beat out all? 'SHOOTER' SEAN DEELEY http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Shooter%20Sean%20Deeley_zpszplcvryq.jpg Nicknamed ‘Shooter’, Sean Deeley has had an almost unparalleled success in the wrestling world. A man with few, if any, words, he is two-time national champion in college, and a gold medallist at both the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2012 London Olympics, Sean Deeley looks to be the betting favourite in this tournament. He poses quite possibly a big challenge, with his MMA-styled submissions able to snap people’s bones in seconds. Titles: Olympic Gold Medal (x2) 'THE SWOOP' SWOOP MCCARTHY http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Swoop%20McCarthy%20_zps2crkbybd.jpg Often described as the ‘Australian Big Magic’, Swoop has gotten his foot into the door of the fighting world, with his decent fighting skills taking a back seat to his incredible charisma and promo work, often calling out many prominent fighters, with one such video drawing a response from MMA legend Raul Hughes that saw Hughes bash the hell out of Swoop. Despite this, or perhaps because of this, his ego and, most importantly, his Twitter marketability has improved considerably. TADIYUKI KIKKAWA http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Tadiyuki%20Kikkawa_zpsri9uofl5.jpg MMA Fighter. Brutal Lariat. That is Tadiyuki Kikkawa. For years, he ran roughshod over the ALPHA-1 company, until the MMAgate incident occurred, in which two fighters from a local company died after their match, forcing ALPHA-1 to tighten their rules, which was enough for Kikkawa and 4 other top-level fighters to leave and form his own company: iNSPIRE. The company had a huge media appeal in 2006 but by the end of 2009, it was forced to fold. ALPHA-1 took the chance to rehire all 5 of them, including Kikkawa and Kikkawa has restarted his dominance, which he hopes translates into winning this competition. TAYLER 'ACID' MORTON http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Tayler%20Morton_zpshqi9fhqo.jpg Tayler ‘Acid’ Morton is a fairly well known kick boxer. A person with high skills, he was held back by his attitude and his ability to ‘choke’ in big matches. Never winning a championship in his life, Morton chooses to compete in this tournament, and fights to get himself noticed by the fans, to show he can compete with the top guys. THE FORCE http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Jim%20Force_zpskk3kfs2c.jpg The Force (born Jim Forcisus) is a highly-renowned TV fitness instructor. Donning the mantra The Force, his character was of a huge talker who hyped his instructions and methods with a highly comedic ranting and yelling and it was common for him to make words up, which made him insanely popular, especially amongst kids. He brings to the table his unique character and power, and hopes everyone else ‘feels the force’. TOM 'ANGRY' GILMORE http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Angry%20Gilmore_zpsikpk9gtd.jpg Tom ‘Angry’ Gilmore is a worker best known for being a high-profile kickboxer and an even more high-profile angry man. A guy who has been in and out of anger-management sessions over the past couple of decades, his anger has lately been calmed down via kickboxing, however, lately he starts to get more angrier by the minute. Who knows what will happen if he loses this tournament?

Xendarii
I already love the alternate reality you're creating. Those biographies look pretty funny and should make for some remarkable moments. Psycho Sam
I don't understand a single bloody thing, but in a weird way, this looks appealing to me. I'm not that good of a storyteller, imo, but yeah. More of the backstory will be set for future tournaments, if I ever do decide to do more. I hope to all that is holy that Kikkawa just spends 20 minutes murdering Swoop with lariats. The Swoop Effect would beg to differ. Seriously though, you're giving me ideas in case both of them don't make it to the finals. I haven't thought 'that' far ahead but I could definitely do rivalry-based matches, maybe during the grand final show as grudge matches. Swoop seems like a prime candidate for grudge matches. I already love the alternate reality you're creating. Those biographies look pretty funny and should make for some remarkable moments. Can't wait for the second part of the roster introduction! --- http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Zoe%20Ammis_zpsduvppbhm.jpg I'm Agent 69, AKA Zoe Amiss, the official undercover reporter, and we welcome you to look at our top-secret info of the other 17 warriors set to do battle. ---THE WARRIORS PART 2: ELECTRIC BOGALOO--- ANTONIO MAXI MARQUEZ http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Champagne%20Lover_zps8iuyaihr.jpg TV Superstar Antonio Maxi Marquez is quite possibly the biggest name in Mexican television, thanks to his role on the long standing opera The Young And The Fearless as Antonio Ramoray. Will he translate this popularity to get a victory? DAN STONE JR http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Dan%20Stone%20Jr_zpsdiea3q4z.jpg Dan Stone Jr. The most successful Stone of his generation. Dominating the stone hard sport of wrestling at the college level, and further picking up wins and wins, he has even represented Canada three times, taking home a gold in each of them. Nowadays, he's looking to retirement, but not without a dream match against ‘Shooter’ Sean Deeley, the top wrestler of today. ELEMENTAL III http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Elemental%20III_zpsn5hp1yef.jpg Elemental III is a manga character, an MMA fighter in a world filled with colorful foes and friends, who uses his signature brand of aerial showmanship and genius to win over his enemies. This character has been hugely popular since the 1980s, to the point where actors playing the masked character have appeared in various Japanese media. In one notable example, a match between him and reigning ALPHA-1 champion Tadiyuki Kikkawa was scheduled, where the two of them fought to a draw in 2004 to hype up his match against Kinnojo Horri. This particular version is played by Tensuke Ryuuko, longtime martial arts actor, noted fan of Elemental III. HARUKI 'HOODED' KUDO http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Haruki%20Kudo_zpsqd7bv0az.jpg Haruki Kudo, better known as the masked ‘Hooded Kudo’, TV’s greatest superhero of the 1990s. Haruki is a cult sensation amongst many of the world, whether it be for his bravery, his awesome costume, or his dreaded ‘Kudo Cutter’ which makes even the mighty Sam Strong, professional bodybuilder, tremble at its power. After guest starring in several American movies as a stunt double, Haruki takes on this competition in order to show people he’s not just a one-trick pony. 'THE H-BOMB' HIROAKI NAKASAWA http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Hiroaki%20Nakasawa_zpscb77aofw.jpg Hiroaki Nakasawa, nicknamed ‘The H-Bomb’ is one of Japan’s most popular fighters. When the INSPIRE incident occurred, involving 5 top-level fighters of MMA mega company ALPHA-1 walked out which by coincidence involved 4 champions, the vacant belts were put up for grabs in a tournament, where Nakasawa won the heavyweight belt in stunning fashion. He has continued his streak at the top level, even winning the Best Fighter of 2007, 2008 and 2011 awards. A superb athlete, Nakasawa has also competed in many endurance contests, winning some of the most prestigious awards. Will his dominance continue at this tournament? JACK AVATAR http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Jack%20Avatar_zpsmb5ijisi.jpg Jack Avatar is a very promising youngster who looks to have an enormously bright future in the history of combat sport. A great natural athlete, Jack has the look and manner of a natural champion, and many feel that it is inevitable that he'll end up with one of the major championships around his waist at some point in the future. For now, he just seems content fighting for the right to be a tournament winner. JACK BRUCE http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Jack%20Bruce_zpslhwai2c9.jpg It's virtually impossible to have not heard of Jack Bruce. The lead singer of ‘Painful Procedure’, Jack Bruce has captivated millions of teenage girls across the world with his performances. Now in the ever-so-physical land of the tournament, he has also given incredible performances, placing first in the qualifiers, and is an early favourite in the competition. MALILI 'AKIMA' UMAGA http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Akima%20Brave_zpsdqqrnzad.jpg Malili Brave is one of the Crown Jewels of Samoa. Together with his younger brother Kid Toma, Malili made an explosive impact in the ALPHA-1 MMA scene in 2005 by not only showing an insane amount of tolerance to the head, but by also nearly capturing the middleweight championship in his first year. His momentum stalled in 2006 after the new tournament was made to crown the next champion after the INSPIRE incident in which the champion of the middleweight division left to form INSPIRE. Malili was knocked out in the quarterfinals and would slowly lose his mojo until 2010, when he was released. Since then, he has vowed to retrain and get his momentum back in hopes of getting resigned by ALPHA-1, winning this would surely put him at the elite. MARAT KHOKLOV http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Marat%20Khoklov_zpsj6oufnr3.jpg The giant Russian, Marat Khoklov, made a huge splash in the MMA world where he knocked out Tadiyuki Kikkawa in 2006 on the finals of the inaugural INSPIRE championship, and has never looked back since. With his pure strength, power and stone-cold body of iron, Marat looks to showcase his power in this tournament. MATTHEW KEITH http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Matthew%20Keith_zpswoy99bxj.jpg One of Sam Keith’s sons, Matthew Keith, is here to compete. Sam was a legendary basketball player back in the 90s, and even appeared in several shoot-fighting contests. Now in 2013, Matthew looks to emulate the success his father had. A win in this competition would surely have the pro-teams calling for him, and even may lead him to crossover into shoot-fighting. MITO MIWA http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Mito%20Miwa_zpsld832a0t.jpg Mito Miwa. These two words make even the harshest of criminals shudder in their boots. A police officer of Japan who has recently caught the notorious serial killer ‘Ryushi Mahato’, he is in tip top shape for this contest. A noted fan of game shows and athletic contest, Miwa wishes to win to bring Pride, Glory, and Honour to his country and his family. 'DR. LOVE' OWEN PINSENT http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Owen%20Love_alt2_zpsranyrno7.jpg Owen Pinsent is a former Olympic swimmer, representing Canada in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, where he came silver. After retiring in 2003, he took up TV acting, guest starring in several shows throughout the years, his most notable role being ‘Dr. Love’ Owen Love in the hit TV show ‘Fast Track’, a role that won him an Oscar for ‘Best Guest Star in 2012’. Now in 2013, he has wanted to prove that he has still got the athleticism he has even 13 years later. Will he beat out the competition and take his first gold? R.K. HAYES http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/RK%20Hayes_zpshszcic5s.jpg The toughest man in the world, RK Hayes, is one of the most revered men in all of toughmen competitions. Winning numerous toughmen competitions over a 20 year period, this man looks to take his skills to the tournament, to prove he is as tough as they say he is. He hopes to face off against Christian Faith in the tournament to take revenge on one of his few losses in toughmen competitions. 'THE BODYGUARD' RAHMEL GOODE http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Rahmel%20Goode_zpsabxrczr5.jpg A former bodyguard for the Australian Prime Minister, Martyn Whitham, Rahmel Goode is the strongest man in the world. Winning the 2012 World’s Strongest Man title, Goode’s raw power and strength makes him a fan favourite for this competition. SAMMY BACH http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Sammy%20Bach_alt1_zps5migerjx.jpg If Rip Chord is the legendary guitarist of the 1980s, then Sammy Bach is the legendary guitarist of today. A member in the band ‘Painful Procedure’, alongside Jack Bruce, his mannerisms and sayings lead to him being hailed as a Rock God of the 2010s. Bach is prepared to live up to the occasion of this opportunity to bolster his own image and reputation. 'THE FUTURE' STEVEN PARKER http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Steven%20Parker_zpsmzohqfwd.jpg Self-proclaimed as ‘The Future’, Steven Parker is associated with his ever so controversial predictions in fighting events, the highlight being that he derided the juggernaught boxer Dan DaLay for dominating his opponents in 2012, provoking the boxer to challenge him to a fight. We understand Steven Parker has not responded to his challenge, critics criticizing him for being a coward, while he states that he has been training for this competition, in which he foresees winning this tournament. TOMMY 'CORNELL-VERSE' CORNELL http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b534/PsychoticBitch9/Tommy%20Cornell_alt1_zpsvslac4gv.jpg Businessman, MMA star, and movie star, Tommy Cornell is the epitome of success. A former MMA star for British Cage Fighting, then later GAMMA and ALPHA-1, Tommy Cornell later transitioned to movies, first starring in the critically acclaimed ‘King of the Backyard’, and later producing hits under the company ‘Total Championship Films’, before selling it off to known businessman J.K Stallings Jr.. He is now looking to get back into MMA, and wants to use this company to show how good he is. Number of universes named after him: 1 (he’s that damn good).
