WCW 1994: My Return

Recommended Posts

Stud Stable - No way are they losing to that cavalcade of jobbers.

Lord Steven Regal - I could see you potentially giving Maggs the big run, but I just don't feel like he can compete at Regal's speed YET. Give him some time.

Alex Wright - Big win for the "undefeated" newcomer.

The Guardian Angel - I bet on a squash.

Diamond Dallas Page - Feud with Sting has him at the big level.

Cactus Jack - Win here for Jack before he and Kevin drop the belts at the Bash.

Flair and Austin - Sting seems the odd man out in that his feud doesn't require him much momentum; unlike Flair and Austin/Steamboat.

Fan Signs:

Diamonds aren't forever, but Deathlocks are!

The Stud Stable (Terry Funk, Bunkhouse Buck and Meng) vs. Bobby Walker, Terry Taylor and Scott Stud

Comment: This match is here to make Stud Stable look like a real threats and I would expect rather convincing win for them.

WCW World Television Title Match

10 Minute Time Limit

Lord Steven Regal defends vs. Joey Maggs

Comment: Maggs getting this shot and some TV time might mean he´s on the list of guys you would want to push so I keep eye on him. That said, surely this is too much too soon even if he is receiving that push?

Steve Keirn vs. Alex Wright

Comment: Wright did get win over certain Jean-Paul Levesque and seems to have a feud with him going too even if that hasn´t been on the main show. Still, that´s more that I can say from Keirn´s who´s only appearance (as far as I can remember) is a tag loss to Arn and Dusty.

The Gambler vs. The Guardian Angel

Comment: Next!

Diamond Dallas Page vs. Johnny B. Badd

Comment: DDP has more going on.

Booker T vs. Cactus Jack

Comment: I agree with Beejus here on Jack winning before dropping the belts on PPV as the way that tag match went in last show kind of made me feel that Cactus and Sullivan won´t be a long term team.

Ric Flair and Steve Austin vs. Sting and Ricky Steamboat

Comment: If Flair would be feuding with either Sting or Steamboat, I would expect faces to win, probably via Pillman interfering, even if he shouldn´t be appearing until after the PPV (accoring the promo video on last show) but with Flair currently being in the feud with Hogan, I don´t see reason why he should get a loss here.

Comments On Last Week's Show/The Joint Diary:Like how you give someone a chance, that normaly wouldn't get it. I think with time and some guidance maybe from the Living Legend, Maggs may start his climb. I can maybe see him as a future Tv champ and just maybe taking Regal to a timelimit draw, only time will tell.

The Gambler vs. The Guardian Angel

Comment: I'm not "betting" against the Gambler. He'll hit the Wild Card DDT (I think that was his finisher in wcw) out of nowhere. (Or a DQ win is good as well...face it, BlueStar, it isn't going to happen.)
