Setting the Scene

January 2007 and it is clear to many fans that after six years since WCW and ECW was bought out that WWE are defiantly the

Kings of the Castle

. WWE are on the Road to Wresltemania with the three brands of RAW, Smackdown and ECW firmly in place. John Cena is well and truly the face of the company as he heads into a title defence against Umaga. On the other side of the fence on the blue brand Batista is holding it down but The Undertaker is looming. The conflicts between new and old become more and more heated on ECW. With New Years Revolution around the corner followed up by the Royal Rumble, WWE are in place as the

Kings of the Castle

. However there are alternatives that are becoming bigger and bigger in the form of TNA and ROH. The wrestling world could very well see new

Kings of the Castle

but that choice is up to you.

 

Mod Maker Notes

Hey guys, so I have two months of with no wrestling training or school so I have thought I will finally do something I always wanted to do and that is create a mod for TEW. I decided on doing 2007 because it was very well a transitional period for all companies. TNA was building momentum along side with ROH, Benoit is still alive and the cruiser-weight belt is still in place. I think this is a very fun time period to play for wrestling fans. Now I have a bit of knowledge of the Japan and Mexican scene but I may require help, so if there are any experts on those scenes then send me a PM because I have a few questions. In this mod my goal is to create future narratives as well as new promotions popping up in the future just to give people a reason to have a long term play-through with this mod. Obviously they will be realistic.
