Hey guys, I was thinking what would be good parody names of the C-Verse Promotions and Wrestlers, I'm planning on doing a Mod called NonsensicalVerse which is based on parodies of both the C-Verse & RL wrestlers and Promotions and I was wondering what would be your guys ideas of Parodies of The C-Verse Promotions & Wrestlers?

The joke is that NOTB is just a soulless wrestling machine, with no actual stories or emotion. Obviously, it's not true (mostly), but that's the cliché. It would be funny if all the wrestlers were actually robots. You could run with the idea, but if it's a bit too out there I understand haha.

I don't mind it being to out there, I wanna try to make the NonsensicalVerse as weird and obsurd as possible, I could make every member on the wrestler with 0 entertainment skills, but they may cause the company to go to shit, but it's worth the interest.

 

What would be a good Company name just Soulless Wrestling Machine?

Hm... depends on exactly what is nonsensical. Do you plan on breaking the fourth wall? If you do, the C-Verse characters are "parodies" of real wrestlers, and you can incorporate that into the names.

Jack Sexy Boy (for Jack Bruce)

Miss Lizzie (for Jessie)

Rude Joe (for Joe Sexy)*

 

 

Or, you can go at it from "the shoot perspective" ignoring real-world corollaries, and make fun of characters inherently.

Geriatric Gigolo (Jack Bruce)

Sensational Jackass (Sensational Dragon)

Christ Figure no. X (Christian Faith)

Mullet (Valiant)

Sir Nepotism the Hack (Eric Eisen)

Lets see I'll throw a few out there:

 

Soulless Wrestling Machines (SWM)

Dan Stone Industries (DSI)

Wrestlers vs Robots (WvR)

Men of Steel Combat (MoSC) A former CV fed name, if you don't end up parading it, which you probably should, because its a fed about a bunch of drunken Scots fighting in hardcore matches.

Not Gran Nawrina (for Lobster Warrior)

 

Lobster Warrior isn't Gran Naniwa though unless you're solely going off of the look. Two completely different style of workers and gimmicks. ¬_¬

 

Lobster Warrior the gimmick doesn't have an IRL wrestling equivalent that he could be a parody of. He's more like a wrestling Spiderman...except he's a lobster.

If you're having a NOTBPW rip off full of soul-less wrestling machines.... then it has to be owned by Satan, or at least some kind of joke based on that theme. Where else would all the souls go if it isn't Satan himself buying them? :p After that, the running gag can be that everyone who signs with the company is actually replaced by a robotic version of themselves.... leading to 100% matches and no angles/personality allowed to be shown, on account of them not being coded into the new robotic wrestlers. :p

 

You could even set a few Hiring Rules so that NOTBPW only sign the kinds of people who could be easily replaced by robots... high consistency, high resilience and toughness... basically people who won't break down easily or go beyond their basic programming. :D

From a conceptual standpoint, I'd consider parodying wrestlers instead of individual promotions. Grouping several former and current C-Verse stars into "cohesive units" -- based on work rate, character, wrestling style, ability -- makes more sense. I'd have four or five total promotions with "star wrestlers" represented.

 

Days of Our Pinfalls (USPW/RAW/SOTBPW/21CW)

Trans-Atlantic Shoot Rate Barometer (PGHW/NOTBPW)

Egregious Elaboration upon the Extraneous Description (BHOTWG/WLW/Ex2010)

Totally Pretentious Production (TCW/CZCW/PSW)

Automatic Teller Machine Federation (SWF/CGC)

NonsensicalVerse, is generally just making funny parodies of both RL and C-Verse Promotions and Wrestlers, so sort of the shoot perspective sorta way. And also it's mean to just be obsurb, ridiculous and funny.

Hmm.. maybe I could do that with the smaller promotions, but for the bigger and main promotions, I just want to have it on it's own. So far I've already started doing Dragon Gate parody called Snake Pit and I'm starting to make parody of those wrestlers.

That sounds perfect for that promotion, Maybe I could mix Dan Stone and Satan together, Dan Satan (probably with a better name than that though lol)

 

This is all sounding perfect, and also I'm planning of adding some just general obsurdness, maybe make some promotions with original stuff along with the parody companies/wrestlers.
