UFC ANNOUNCES THREE CARDS

- FLYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP WILL MAIN EVENT UFC 191

- BARNETT AND NELSON WILL CLASH AT FIGHT NIGHT JAPAN

- CORMIER WILL DEFEND HIS TITLE FOR THE FIRST TIME AT UFC 192

THE UFC has announced the main card for its next three events. UFC 191 and 192 will be split by a Fight Night event in Japan.

UFC 191 will be headlined by the Flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson who will defend his title against #1 ranked contender John 'The Magician' Dodson, in an interesting title contest. The bookies, unusually, have Dodson as the favourite to take the title at the second time of asking thanks to his knockout power. Accompanying the fight is an intriguing heavyweight battle as Andrei Arlovski, fresh off of finishing Travis Browne will fight fellow comeback maker Frank Mir in a fight with title ramifications. Anthony 'Rumble' Johnson is third from top on the five-fight card as he battles Brit Jimi Manuwa in what is sure to be an exciting contest. After a loss to Gian Villante, 'Beastin 25/8' Corey Anderson has a chance to climb into the rankings when he fights #15 Jan Blachowicz. Opening the PPV portion of the show, strawweight sensation Paige VanZant will be tested by 'Astro Girl' Alex Chambers.

Fight Night Japan will be a four-fight main card opened by a razor-tight featherweight contest as Brazilian Diego Brandao looks to back up a win over Jim Hettes at UFC on FOX 15 against Japanese native Katsunori Kikuno. #14 ranked flyweight contender Kyoji Horiguchi will look to climb back up the rankings after his loss to Demetrious Johnson when he faces #15 Chico 'King' Camus. A thrilling middleweight fight will co-headline as the mega-talented knockout artist Uriah Hall will pit his skills against respected veteran Gegard Mousasi. Headlining the card, two heavyweights will have the chance to redeem losses in their last fight as #7 Josh 'Warmaster' Barnett will face #8 Roy 'Big Country' Nelson.

The main card of UFC 192: Cormier vs Gustaffson will begin with a bantamweight contest as 'The Venezuelan Vixen' Julianna Pena gets the chance to take on respected striker Jessica 'Evil' Eye. Then, Ruslan Magomedoc and Shawn Jordan of the heavyweight division will face off in an intriguing contest. Next, a possible flyweight eliminator as the #2 ranked Joseph Benavidez battles #3 contender Ali 'Puncher' Bagautinov. Finally, Ryan Bader has the opportunity he craves to earn a shot at the title when he faces the returning #2 contender 'Suga' Rashad Evans, who hasn't competed since beating Chael Sonnen at UFC 167. And finally, Daniel Cormier's first defence of his new light heavyweight championship will come against the Swedish brawler Alexander Gustaffson, who fell just short in an epic contest against former champ Jon 'Bones' Jones.
