Enjoyed the first show, it flowed well which I thought might be a bit difficult with a recap style and going from segment to segment. Dunno about word count and stuff, but if felt easy to get through with their being no big chunks of text, but you still said everything you needed to. So far I like this format, it seems to be a good way of getting the important information across since you can pick and choose which parts of the shows are emphasised.

Primetime Players - Two teams I care nothing about. Ascension were screwed over big time.

Tyler Breeze

Chris Jericho - Jericho may be a guy who loses often, but in this type of world he needs to pick up a win here or there to stay relevant.

Sasha Banks - The champ may be absent, but The Boss is here.

Dean Ambrose - Ugh, I was highly upset when they took the IC title from Owens.

Roman

I like the commentary style, it fits the mold for current WWE where they talk about everything and show next to nothing as it is, lol.

#AskCorey could "Sterling" James Keenan show up in the Royal Rumble?

One thing I'd like to see be implemented is when Renee and Corey are talking, bold the text where it says who won the match! :)

Comments on previous show/dynasty in general: This looks like a good format, I'm loving the dynamic between Renee and Corey, very Gorilla & Ventura/Heenan esque

Thanks, glad to hear that you enjoyed their dynamic. While not every show will be Renee/Corey, I definitely see a lot of Corey in the future. It's fun to write for him, tbh.

Comments on previous show/dynasty in general:

Like the style of this, although I had to get used to it a bit first xD

I actually take that as a compliment. Like I said, there's about a million WWE dynasties on here at any given point, so I wanted to do something to set this one apart.

Glad to see you enjoyed it. :D Transitions were something I was worried about and worked on a lot, too, so hopefully I can continue making good ones without having to repeat myself very often.

I like the commentary style, it fits the mold for current WWE where they talk about everything and show next to nothing as it is, lol.

Well, to be fair, they're not calling RAW so much as they are analyzing it. It's a RAW Recap, not something to replace RAW. More like condensing 3 hours of RAW into a 30-minute (or so) episode to try and entice people to watch RAW.

One thing I'd like to see be implemented is when Renee and Corey are talking, bold the text where it says who won the match! :)

Thanks for the feedback. Constructive criticism is always appreciated. I'll try to keep it in mind when I get around to Smackdown.

The people love me, obviously.

Renee:

Back in spite of popular demand, as they always say.

Corey:

Speaking of in spite of popular demand, who let Roman Reigns speak to kick off Smackdown this week?

Renee:

Well, he's the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Corey, and he had a lot to say regarding the situation with COO Triple H returning last Monday on RAW to attack him after his title defense.

Corey:

Don't remind me, Renee. Luckily, there was Alberto Del Rio to save us all from Roman, telling him that nobody cares to hear him whining and moaning and complaining. Del Rio said that he's a real champion, and he offered to prove it tonight in the main event.

Renee:

And Reigns, of course, never being one to back down from a fight, agreed, setting up our main event for the evening. More on that later on.

http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af162/frootloop18/The%20Champs%20Not%20Here/Ascension.jpghttp://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af162/frootloop18/The%20Champs%20Not%20Here/VSSD.jpghttp://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af162/frootloop18/The%20Champs%20Not%20Here/PTP.jpg
Match Grade: 42

Renee:

But first up, we had tag team action, as The Ascension take on The Primetime Players, following The Ascension costing Titus O'Neil his match against Stardust on RAW.

Corey:

One could argue that Titus cost himself that match by taking his eye off the ball, but nonetheless, The Primetime Players looked for so-called 'revenge' in this match, and they got it.

Renee:

You know, I find it interesting that Stardust didn't come to the aid of The Ascension the way they did for him, allowing Viktor to fall victim to the Clash Of The Titus so that The Primetime Players could win. Does it seem like a one-sided team to you, Corey?

Corey:

Soldiers have to help their general, Renee. Not necessarily the other way around.

Renee:

Well, after that match was over, we heard from 'Prince Pretty' Tyler Breeze. Breeze reminded us that on Monday he defeated Kalisto, and promised that tonight, he'll take out his tag team partner Sin Cara. And, to your credit, Corey, he did point out what you said about ugly people hiding behind masks.

Corey:

Great minds think alike, Renee.

http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af162/frootloop18/The%20Champs%20Not%20Here/TylerBreeze.jpghttp://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af162/frootloop18/The%20Champs%20Not%20Here/VSSD.jpghttp://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af162/frootloop18/The%20Champs%20Not%20Here/SinCara.jpg
Match Grade: 45

Renee:

Regardless of yours, and Tyler's, egos, I have to admit that he put up a pretty impressive showing in this match against Sin Cara.

Corey:

An impressive showing? He dominated, Renee.

Renee:

I don't know about that, Corey, but he did pick up the win over Sin Cara with the Unprettier after Summer Rae grabbed Sin Cara's ankle from the outside of the ring. My question is, could Tyler Breeze pick up the win without Summer's help?

Corey:

Who cares, Renee? They're Summer Breeze. Where one goes, the other follows. They're a package deal.

Renee:

Speaking of package deals, The New Day was in the ring after the commercial break to remind us of how great they think they are.

Corey:

How great they are, Renee. Get it right.

Renee:

Well, one person that disagrees with that is Chris Jericho, who came out to run The New Day down. This whole thing ended with Xavier Woods challenging Chris Jericho to a match...on behalf of Kofi Kingston. Jericho accepted, and that lead to our next matchup.

http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af162/frootloop18/The%20Champs%20Not%20Here/ChrisJericho.jpghttp://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af162/frootloop18/The%20Champs%20Not%20Here/VSSD.jpghttp://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af162/frootloop18/The%20Champs%20Not%20Here/KofiKingston.jpg
Match Grade: 64

Renee:

The veteran Jericho was in control of this one early, but the numbers game caught up to him as The New Day got involved after Jericho caught Kofi's leg on an attempted Trouble In Paradise.

Corey:

That's right, Renee. The New Day knew exactly what was up and what they needed to do to make sure the right man won this one.

Renee:

If that was the case, then Xavier wouldn't have been tossed into Big E while he was on the apron, allowing Jericho to hit the Codebreaker on Kofi and pick up the win.

Corey:

The New Day was able to get their revenge, though, Renee, when they attacked Chris Jericho after the match.

Renee:

Until, Corey, The Usos came down to the ring, chasing The New Day away.

Corey:

Why do you love people that stick their nose into others' business, Renee?

http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af162/frootloop18/The%20Champs%20Not%20Here/SashaBanks.jpghttp://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af162/frootloop18/The%20Champs%20Not%20Here/VSSD.jpghttp://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af162/frootloop18/The%20Champs%20Not%20Here/BeckyLynch.jpg
Match Grade: 50

Renee:

Speaking of sticking their nose into other people's business, up next we saw an old rivalry renewed as Sasha Banks took on Becky Lynch, which saw no shortage of interference from Team BAD.

Corey:

Again, Renee, they were just doing their part to make sure the right girl won.

Renee:

But that wasn't the case, was it, Corey? Charlotte had to watch on from ringside as Becky put Sasha in the Dis-Arm-Her and forced the former NXT Women's Champion to tap out.

Corey:

Speaking of Charlotte, though, she hit the ring immediately after the match was over, putting Becky in the Figure-8, foreshadowing their Royal Rumble match.

Renee:

That's right, Charlotte will defend her Divas Championship against former best friend Becky Lynch in what is sure to be an amazing matchup.

http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af162/frootloop18/The%20Champs%20Not%20Here/WWE%20IC.jpg
http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af162/frootloop18/The%20Champs%20Not%20Here/KevinOwens.jpghttp://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af162/frootloop18/The%20Champs%20Not%20Here/VSSD.jpghttp://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af162/frootloop18/The%20Champs%20Not%20Here/DeanAmbroseIC.jpg

Match Grade: 60

Corey:

Championships? Amazing matchups? It's like you were trying to set me up to transition into talking about our next match, as Dean Ambrose defended the Intercontinental Championship against Kevin Owens.

Renee:

As expected, this was a hard-hitting, fast-paced matchup, Corey, and it was really anyone's guess who would walk out with the prestigious Intercontinental Championship.

Corey:

That is, until Neville stuck his oversized nose into the match, distracting Kevin Owens and costing him the Intercontinental Championship as Dean Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds.

Renee:

You call it sticking his nose into the match, I call it revenge. Regardless, though, next we're reminded that Brock Lesnar will be returning on Monday to turn Minneapolis into Suplex City.

Corey:

But after that, we saw Kevin Owens attack Neville backstage, leaving him down and out. WWE News Update

Week 1 January 2016

WWE RAW this week brought in disappointing numbers this week, gaining popularity in 19 regions while losing popularity in 16. Smackdown did slightly better, gaining in 23 regions while losing in 16. Still, WWE brass is reportedly hoping for a good showing at the Royal Rumble to turn things around for them.

Sin Cara was injured in his Smackdown match with Tyler Breeze this week, but it's reportedly being blamed as a freak accident, rather than the fault of Breeze. Look for Kalisto to be pushed as a singles star while his partner is on the shelf.

Surgeries have been done on multiple injured WWE superstars. Sin Cara, Cesaro, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins all went under the knife this week, with all surgeries being reported as successful.

A few changes to the RAW and Smackdown commentary teams are to come next week as RAW's announce desk will now see Michael Cole joined by JBL and Corey Graves, while Smackdown's team will be Michael Cole, Booker T, and Byron Saxton.

Thanks again for all the predictions, guys. I hope you're all enjoying the dynasty and where it's going to be headed in the future.

At this point, I'm taking suggestions for future cohosts for the RAW and Smackdown recaps. Anyone on the roster is fair game (injured or not) barring those whose gimmicks simply wouldn't fit (Undertaker, Wyatt Family members, etc). Also available would be backstage workers (IE road agents) and any legend that's still alive and on good terms with WWE (think if you'd be surprised to see them on a WWE Network show or not. No Hulk Hogans or CM Punks here.)

Great show again. You are hitting Corey Graves spot on and I can imagine his voice saying your stuff in my head actually. Keep it on! ;-)

Thanks for the support, man. It really means a lot to me.

I'm glad you like the way I write Corey Graves. He's very fun to write and, while he won't be co-hosting every week (this next week that honor will go to Booker T) I think you can slot him in for PPV previews and recaps going forward. It's just so fun to let my inner heel color commentator out. :p
