With our 10 year anniversary PPV on the horizon, the stakes have never been higher in Impact Wrestling. Everyone is fighting for a chance at getting a mere taste of what it feels like to have finally made it.

 

Ever since our inception, there have been the fair share of nay sayers. For 10 years, people have been telling us that we're going to be closing down the next year, the next month, the next week, hell even the next day. But we proved them all wrong. We're still standing, after 10 years of pride, dedication, and passion, we're still standing stronger than ever. And I want to let each and every one of you know something. And that something is a statement that you can take to the grave. We're not going anywhere.

*OOC: Hello everyone and welcome to like the 500th TNA diary of mine! This is a Cpt. Charisma mod set in June of 2012 and, like the intro read, we are coming up on Slammiversary which is the 10th year of TNA! I really REALLY hate to be this guy but, 2 predictions, although they're greatly appreciated, is disappointing considering how well my Righting the Wrongs Diary did. I know bumps are frowned upon, but it does kind of bum me out we only have gotten 2 so far. :)

 

Post something here first my man. :)

 

Also, don't talk about how bummed out you are and then close with a smiley face. :p

My opinion of this era of TNA is all over the internet, I wasn't a fan...make it better...give each area of TNA a meaning...don't let it become the mess it did (and to be fair already was by 2012)

TNA President Dixie Carter comes down to the ring to open up iMPACT Wrestling. She grabs a mic in the ring and starts to adress the Impact Zone. She talks about how there has been some controversy between her and AJ Styles over the past few weeks and how there's only 2 men to blame for this whole mess that's been extremely blown out of porpotion. And those 2 men are Kaz & Daniels. Now you two may like causing some trouble and meddling in other people's business, but know that with actions come consequences. And in 4 weeks at Slammiversary, you two will defend those tag team titles against AJ Styles & Kurt Angle! And as for tonight...

Kaz & Daniels come out to the ring. They enter and grab microphones. Kazarian says she can try and punish them all they want, but she can't deny the truth. Carter proceeds to slap Kazarian and Daniels shoves her down and Dixie falls down on the mat.

AJ Styles' music hits as he rushes the ring and chases The World Tag Team Champions of the World away. He helps Dixie up and she hugs him to which he's reluctant about. Serg Salinas (Dixie's husband) hops the barricade and gets in the ring and confronts Styles. AJ is trying to apologize when Serg lands a hard right, knocking AJ down. He leaves the ring and Dixie follows after him as we cut to backstage.

We see new Knockouts Executive Brooke Hogan backstage in the Knockouts locker room with Velvet Sky, Tara, Miss Tessmacher, and Mickie James. She introduces herself to all of the Knockouts and says she's thrilled to be here. She promises to be a just authority figure and wants to give everyone equal opportunities. She says she needs an opponent for Gail Kim at Slammiversary and she wants to give everyone a chance so, tonight there will be a fatal 4 way and whoever wins gets Gail for the Knockouts Title at Slammiversary. All of the girls seem excited as Brooke is leaving. She turns around at the last second and says she almost forgot something. She tells Velvet that she has contacted Montgomery Gentry and has signed a deal for her to appear in their newest music video! Velvet is overjoyed as there's a big group hug however the camera catches Mickie looking a lot less thrilled than the others.

Crimson pinned X-Division Champion Austin Aries with a Spear after Samoa Joe got involved in a solid opening contest that went about 11 minutes long.

Crimson grabs a mic after the match and talks about how he has been undefeated, unpinned, unsubmitted, and untouchable for over 400 days. "That's way longer than that Goldberg guy!!!" He says he's tired of defeated everyone on the roster, so he's issuing an open challenge for Slammiversary, daring anyone to try and step up to beat him.

Our cameras cut to backstage as we see GM Hulk Hogan in his office reading through papers when Jeff Hardy walks into his office. They shake hands as Jeff sits down. "Listen Hulkster, I've been on my Road to Redemption for quite some time now, and I gotta tell you man I feel good, I feel real good. I feel like I'm in the best shape of my entire career. And I'm gonna be real with you, I've got my eyes set on one thing, that's the TNA World Title." All of a sudden Mr. Anderson barges in. "Did someone say TNA World Title? Because if my memory serves me right, you had your chance for the TNA World Title, and you blew it! Mr. Anderson........Anderson has not gotten a TNA World Title match all year long, so if anyone deserves a title shot, it's mwah." RVD is walking down the hall and looks in the door and shuffles in greeting everybody. He says, "Man, if anyone can be a challenge for Bobby Roode, it's ROB.....VAN.....DAN! Hulkster, you know better than anyone I never lost that title, I had to vacate it due to injury. And as far as I'm concerned, I never got a proper re-match to take back what's mine." Hulk stands up and says, "Listen here brothers, you all make very good cases on why you all should have a shot at Bobby Roode, but right now, Sting's the #1 Contender, jack. And that's just the way it's gonna be. But let me tell you something brothers. I think the only way we can settle this is in a Triple Threat Match, and whoever wins will be the #1 Contender for either Sting or Bobby Roode's TNA World Heavyweight Championship. But we're not just gonna do this tonight brothers, we're gonna do it in Arlington, Texas at Slammiversary!!!!"

Miss Tessmacher pinned Tara, Velvet Sky, and Mickie James with a Wheelbarrow Facebuster in about 8 minutes to earn a shot at the TNA Knockout's Title at Slammiversary.

Hulk Hogan's music hit as the Hulkster made his way down to the ring. He grabbed a microphone. "The part starts tonight Impact Wrestling fans because in 4 weeks, TNA has it's 10 year birthday brother!!! And I've got a little announcement to make. At Slammiversary, the TNA Heavyweight Title will be on the line..." Before Hogan could finish, Bobby Roode's music hit as the Champ made his way to the ring with an angry face. "Shut your mouth Hogan. I am the World Heavyweight Champion, so that means I'm the best damn wrestler on planet earth today!!! Your recent actions have been unacceptable and now you go and disrespect me some more by making me defend my World Title AGAIN! I get why though, I get why you keep doing this to me. Because you can't stand the fact that I'm a better wrestler, and a better CHAMPION THAN YOU EVER WERE HOGAN!! NOW GET YOUR ASS BACK TO YOUR OFFICE AND DO YOUR JOB RIGHT!!" Sting's music hits as the fans go wild for the Icon. He slowly makes his way down to the ring and takes a microphone. He looks like he's going to say something but he just shrugs his shoulders and kicks Roode right in the gut. He takes him from behind and hits a Scorpion Death Drop on him before posing with the World Title, shaking Hogan's hand, and leaving the ring.

The cameras cut backstage to Joseph Park talking to the camera. He said for 6 months his brother has been missing and no one has tried to help him. Rather, they all just want me gone, Bully Ray especially. Well no more does Joseph Park get pushed aside! At Slammiversary, I'm challenging you Bully Ray. All of a sudden his voice get's deeper and he squints his eye. "To a Monster's Ball match."

The camera cuts backstage to Hulk Hogan's office where he's on the phone. "AJ please, you're booked for the main event tonight. Please come back to the arena."

Garett Bischoff is backstage with Devon as we come back from commercial. "Devon, I know you're set to defend your TV Title tonight against Robbie E. We both know that Robbie T will get involved, so it would be my honor to watch your back tonight in your match." Devon replies by simply saying, "Okie dokie."

A video package was played hyping the tension between Joey Ryan & Al Snow in recent weeks. It highlights how Ryan has been distracting during recent Gut Checks.

Devon pinned Robbie E after a Lifting Reverse DDT in about 5 minutes. Robbie T tried to get involved but Garett was able to stop him.

Kurt Angle is backstage in Hulk Hogan's office arguing with him where the hell is AJ Styles?!?! "I don't know brother I tried to convice him to come back but he wouldn't budge. Look, just go out there with Sting and do your best like you always do brother. I believe in you." The camera then follows Angle backstage to the entrance area where Angle steps through the curtain as our main event is under way.

Sting, Kurt Angle, & AJ Styles submitted Bobby Roode & The World Tag Team Champions of the World when Sting tapped Roode in a Scorpion Death Lock. The heels dominated for a long time until Angle made the hot tag to Sting. Daniels was trying to cheat but Styles flew over the barricade with a Springboard Superman Punch to stop him. The babyfaces celebrated as Sting once again held the TNA World Title above his head to close the show.

It's posts like this that tend to see people one star or ignore your diaries. Gotta give a reason to follow rather than expect instant success. Build it and they will come.

Good first show, Dave! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with this! As for the predictions (or rather lack of), don't be too disheartened, just keep doing what you're doing, and the readers will start rolling in. :)

Loved the show, liked how different it was from your other diary's shows. :D

Except having Crimson beat one of the most over X-Division champs of all time. No way Crimson should beat Aries, Sabin, Styles, Joe, or Daniels ever. :p
