GDS Super H-Cup

Recommended Posts

Since the talk of the NJPW Super J-Cup returning in August, I thought it would be a great idea to have our own Super J-Cup. Each company selected will have representatives for the tournament which will be a block/round robin style. And the Winner will be known to be the best Junior Heavyweight of the world and will be known to be apart of the best company that they are apart of.

Firstly, before we get to the fun part of this, here are the rules.

1 - Each company selected will have 4 representatives from their promotion and will each be put in a block, so Block A, B, C & D.

2 - The maximum weight is Lightweight so no wrestler above that can enter the tournament.

3 - I will not be deciding who wins the matches, I will only take care of the Road Agent notes that are needed and that's it, the game will decide on who wins.

4 - A wrestler can only win by pinfall or submission so no, time limit, Countout, DQ or simple draw finishes.

5 - The winner will be rewarded with 2 points with the loser getting zero.

6 - After the block rounds the final 2 from each block will be put into a single elimination style tournament.

And that's about it, here is the fun part.

Firstly I just would like to ask everyone which Database do you prefer?

A) Real Life

B) C-Verse

C) Both

Feel free to give me your answer via commenting on here or via PM. And it I'll give about a day or two, or each a couple of days if I need to, to wait for people to decide.

And am honestly just thinking of going with just Real World to help honour Hayabusa. Would everyone else be good with that?</p>

PROGRESS

1. Flash Morgan Webster

2. Mark Andrews

3. Will Ospreay

4. Jack Gallagher - The biggest thing about J Cup tournaments is that not everyone is a high flier. Gallagher brings a technical edge.

ROH

4. Kyle O'Reilly

DDT:

1. HARASHIMA

2. Kudo

AJPW:

1. SUSHI

2. Yohei Nakajima

Can't name anymore for AJPW because the company is in such a shambles I don't know who actually has a contract with them nowadays. Gave two from AJPW to FMW, it was Hayabusa's home promotion so I figured they'd get two entries.

FMW

1. Ricky Fuji

2. Black Buffalo

Wrestle-1:

1. Andy Wu

2. Kaz Hayashi

3. Shuji Kondo

4. Jiro Kuroshio

NXT:

1. La Sombra

2. Rich Swann

3. Chad Gable

4. Chris Girard/Biff Busick

Might be a controversial opinion but NXT shouldn't have a large presence at this event. It should be more orientated towards the Japanese workers (which it is so far with the promotion choices).
