UWF TV: Power Pro Wrestling Week 2 May

Once again One Man Gang opened the show declaring his utter dominance of the UWF. He says that next week he is supposed to face Terry Gordy one on one, but the truth is that Terry would need all his buddies in order to have a chance against him.

Krusher Kruschev w/Skandor Akbar defeated Chavo Guerrero

This match was a back and forth affair until Skandor distracted the referee and Sheik Steele made the interference.

Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard came out with Toni Collins to announce that they have found another tag team worthy of facing them for the titles. They say that the Mulkeys, while a great team, would never be able to defeat the team they have set up for the next Ultra Clash.

Mr. Olympia defeated Angel of Death

After the match Super Olympia came running out to the ring and soon Ken Mantel was on the scene to get the story. It appeared that Mr. Olympia's and Super Olympia's bags were stolen and the police needed to talk to them both. This meant Mr. Olympia's title match against Eddie Gilbert later on was in jeopardy.

The Dream Team defeated The Steiner Brothers w/Eddie Gilbert and Missy Hyatt

A botched interference from Missy Hyatt cost Rick Steiner the match and made the announcers questioned if Missy might be better suited to staying in the back from now on.

A video of The Samoan Savages aired showing the trio beat up several men in a training ring before they turned to the camera and declared they were the end of The Freebirds!

Mr. Olympia defeated Eddie Gilbert© w/Missy Hyatt for the UWF TV Championship

During the match it was revealed that it was Sting in a Mr. Olympia mask fighting Eddie Gilbert. Despite this fact, the referee allowed the match to continue and Sting defeated Eddie with a Scorpion Deathlock.

After the match Sting celebrated the win with the fans as Eddie Gilbert and Missy Hyatt screamed they would fight this ruling.

UWF TV: Power Pro Wrestling Week 3 May

The Steiner Brothers, Eddie Gilbert, and Missy Hyatt all came out to open the show. Eddie had the UWF TV Title with him once again and he quickly explained that he was set to face Mr. Olympia and so his match against Sting was thrown out by the UWF Championship Committee. He then goes on to say that the Steiner Brothers were the best damn team in the world and soon they would be UWF Tag Team champions.

The Steiner Brothers w/Eddie Gilbert and Missy Hyatt defeated The Fantastics

The announcers warned the fans what they were going to see was quite disturbing and so they warned that it might be time to send the kids to bed. A video then aired showing the Samoan Savages attacking The Fabulous Freebirds in the parking lot. The assault ended with Terry Gordy being placed on a car hood before Kokina took his massive frame and jumped on the prone Gordy.

Sheik Sid Steele w/Skandor Akbar defeated Action Jackson

This was once again a one sided match with Sid Steele dominating his opponent.

Sting defeated Super Olympia

This was a back and forth match with neither man clearly having an advantage.

One Man Gang came out and declared no one in the UWF would step up and take the injured Terry Gordy's spot because they all feared him. As he was about to continue some rocking music filled the arena and a mysterious man walked out. The man walked into the ring and grabbed the microphone from the confused OMG and announced he, Scott Hall, would face One Man Gang!

Scott Hall defeated One Man Gang

In a show of strength, Scot Hall slammed OMG several times during the match and even ended the fight with a huge running power slam that had the crowd on their feet!

UWF TV: Power Pro Wrestling Week 4 May

Skandor Akbar came out with Krusher Krushchev and Sheik Sid Steele and that they would finish what the Samoan Savages started last week with their attack on the Freebirds.

The Samoan Savages (Tama and Haku) defeated The Olympias

The match was more or less even until Kokina came out and assisted his Samoan brothers. This assistance led to The Samoan Savages getting the win.

The show then shifted to a video of “Cowboy” Bill Watts. Watts says he is recovering well and he is close to figuring out who is behind these attacks. He then goes on to say that he regrets to inform the audience that Sam Houston is still not able to wrestle and so his opponent Cactus Jack refused to face his replacement. So, tonight you will see Mexico's newest star, el Caliente face off against “Gorgeous” Gary Young. He then said that tonight we would se a contract signing between Scott Hall and One Man Gang for the UWF Championship at Ultra Clash!

El Caliente defeated Gary Young

The Dream Team came out and decried the choice of opponents for Arn and Tully at Ultra Clash. They claimed that once again Arn and Tully chose a team that couldn't lace the Dream Team's boots! They then appealed to The UWF Championship Committee and begged for another title shot!

Chavo Guerrero and The Fabulous Freebirds defeated Sheik Sid Steele, Krusher Krushchev, Arn Anderson, and Tully Blanchard

This match was all over the place with the finish coming from The Samoan Savages coming out and attacking the Freebirds causing the DQ!

Sting defeated Eddie Gilbert©w/Missy Hyatt for the UWF TV Title

This was a fast and furious match with Sting using his power to once again defeat Eddie Gilbert and capture the UWF TV Championship!

A contract signing between One Man Gang and Scott Hall ended the show and to everyone's surprise their was no sneak attack or fighting between the two whatsoever. In fact, both men looked to be respectful of the other's skill and power.

Special Pre-Show

Los Guerreros (Hector and Eddie) defeated The Lightning Express

Ted DiBiase defeated The Masked Terror

Ultra Clash Live!

El Caliente defeated Eli the Eliminator

El Caliente used his speed to confuse the slower, much larger Eli.

Cactus Jack defeated Sam Houston w/Baby Doll

Cactus came attacked Houston before the bell even rang and continued the assault after the match properly started. Cactus finished Sam Houston off with a weird double arm DDT.

The Dream Team defeated The Steiner Brothers w/Missy Hyatt

This match was very close but Scott Steiner seemed distracted by the lovely Missy Hyatt allowing The Dream Team to consistently use quick tags and teamwork to keep The Steiners strength at bay.

Krusher Krushchev w/Skandor Akbar defeated Chavo Guerrero

This was a back and forth match with Chavo getting defeated due to the distraction of Skandor Akbar and some interference from Sheik Sid Steele.

Eddie Gilbert w/Missy Hyatt defeated Sting

This match was so close that we had several near falls with the final pin from Eddie Gilbert only reaching the three count due to Missy Hyatt holding the legs of Sting from outside the ring.

The Samoan Savages defeated The Fabulous Freebirds in a Badd Street Back Alley Brawl

This was an all out brawl with each trio going all out to try to take out the other. The Freebirds looked ready to put the Samoan Savages away when 2 more Samoan wrestlers ran out and began attacking. With a 5 on 3 disadvantage the Freebirds were defeated to the shock of the audience.

Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard© w/Toni Collins defeated The Fantastics for the UWF Tag Team Championships

Everyone was on the edge of their seats for the announcement of the opponents for the tag team champs but the fans were audibly disappointed by the announcement of The Fantastics as the team. Arn and Tully finished The Fantastics quite easily and quickly.

Scott Hall defeated One Man Gang© for the UWF Championship

Scott Hall demonstrated great strength by slamming One Man Gang several times during the match. One Man Gang seemed off his game as he was not used to being slammed and so had no idea how to handle this new situation. When Hall made the pin the crowd went wild.

Nice stuff with the Ultra Clash, The Fantastics are a (pun intended) fantastic addition to your already impressive tag roster. Hall as your champ can carry you on for quite some time for the future unless he gets poached.

Krusher and Sid - Pretty awesome team right there.

Shane Douglas - In this time period, Shane is closer to getting to stardom than Jack, even if we know IRL that the opposite happened.

Samoan Savages - THE MONSTER MENG~

Scott Hall - New champ won't lose his first match back on TV.

Sid - Sid is the awesome.

Twin Terrors - You've got a lot of hoss going on, and that's not horrible.

Dream Team - DQ or something.

Ted DiBiase - Ted picks up a cheap win, setting up your next title feud.

Wildman/Kokina - As I said; much hoss.

Sid - Doesn't matter who he faces.

Dream Team - Still looking strong for their eventual title match.

Scott Hall - WBI = JTTS.

Arn and Tully - Guerreros make everyone look good.

Cactus Jack - Who is Caliente?

Sting - Ted should be going for the bigger fish, so Sting retains on a count out or something.

Scott Hall - Champ victory.

UWF TV: Power Pro Wrestling Week 1 June

Scott Hall came out to open Power Pro Wrestling and he showed off the UWF title belt. Hall let the fans know it was their motivation that helped him to overcome the challenge of the One Man Gang. He goes on to say he will be the greatest UWF champion of all time because he knows the fans will always have his back!

Chavo and Hector Guererro defeated Krusher Krushchev and Sheik Sid Steele

Chavo and Hector had near perfect tag team timing while Sid and Krusher seemed to be trying to show off and assert their leadership of their team. In the end a missed lariat by Sid that caused him to crash into Krusher cost Skandor's men the match.

A video of Ted DiBiase in Japan played. In the video Ted says he wanted to congratulate Hall on winning his UWF title. Ted goes on to say his business in Japan is almost at an end so Hall should be prepared to hand that title back over to the greatest wrestler in UWF history, Ted DiBiase!

Cactus Jack defeated Shane Douglas

This was a surprising back and forth match, but in the end the unpredictable nature of Cactus Jack lead to his victory.

Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard came out and let the fans know that they were sorry for the lackluster competition they have faced over the last few weeks. They go on to say that they have booked a match with a team that when they beat will prove how great they truly are. They finish thei promo by saying how disappointed they are in the Dream Team who still haven't proved they are worthy of a title shot.

The Samoan Savages (Haku and Tama) defeated The Lightning Express

This was completely one sided match with Haku and Tama dominating the Lightning Express.

Scott Hall defeated “Wild” Bill Irwin

This was a standard good guy/bad guy bout with Scott proving why he is the UWF champion.

After the final match Scott Hall began to play up to the crowd when Ted DiBiase came running out of the back and attacked. Ted left Hall laid out with a huge right hand with the infamous loaded black glove of his.

UWF TV: Power Pro Wrestling Week 2 June

The show opened with Scott Hall again, this time looking a little worse for wear. Hall is sporting a black eye that the announcers attribute to the vicious right from Ted DiBiase the previous week. Hall says he is a fighting champion and if Ted wanted a shot at him then all he had to do was ask. Since he didn't ask but he attacked him then he will face Ted tonight, not for the title but to teach Ted to respect the UWF champion!

Chavo Guerrero defeated Sheik Sid Steele w/Skandor Akbar

Sid used his size and power to keep Chavo off his game but Chavo's speed kept him in the match. The end came when Skandor tried to assist with a cane shot and Chavo ducked it causing Sid to get hit. Chavo then knocked Skandor off the apron and landed a huge moonsault on Sid before making the pin.

After the match Krusher Kruschev came out and tried to attack Chavo but Chavo's speed allowed him to avoid the attack and get into the crowd. Sid got into Krusher's face about letting Chavo get away but Skandor broke them up and got his men back to the locker room.

The Twin Terrors (Big Bubba and One Man Gang) defeated The Lightning Express

This was a one sided match with One Man Gang and Big Bubba destroying Brad and Tim in short time.

We cut to a video of The Fabulous Freebirds walking down Badd Street USA. Michael Hayes looks at the camera and begins to speak to the audience. He says that what happened at Ultra Clash was a result of the Freebirds forgetting the first rule of Badd Street, “Watch your back!” Hayes goes on to thank the Samoan Wildmen for reminding them of that rule. Terry butts in to say that the second rule of Badd Street is to make sure payback is twice as bad as what you got. Buddy finishes the promo by telling the Samoans that they awoke a sleeping giant and now they have to deal with it!

The Samoan Savages (Haku and Tama) w/Downtown Bruno Lauer defeated The Dream Team

Prior to the match “Downtown” Bruno Lauer said he was flexing his managerial muscle and putting Haku and Tama in the match in place of Fatu and Samu, calling it the Samoan Family rule. The match was back and forth with the skill of the Dream Team holding off the power of The Samoan Savages. The match ended when Bruno distracted the referee and Kokina came out and attacked allowing Haku and Tama to climb the turnbuckles and do a double headbutt on Chris Adams.

We cut to a backstage segment between Sting and Bill Watts. Sting is asking Bill to petition the UWF Championship Committee to grant Eddie Gilbert a match for the UWF TV title. Bill says he is busy trying to figure out who the mysterious attacker is, so he can't worry about Sting's request. Watts says that Mike Jackson, Sam Houston, Ken Mantel and Art Crews were all put on the shelf before the show aired so that might be a bit more important. Sting tells Watts he can't call himself the true TV Champion if a man who beat him doesn't get a shot. Watts says he understands Sting's position and he will see what he can do.

Ted DiBiase defeated Scott Hall

This was a back and forth match with neither man getting any advantage. As Hall looked ready to put Ted away Toni Collins came running down to the ring and distracted the referee. Hall slammed Ted and made a pin but the ref was still dealing with Toni allowing Arn and Tully to come out and attack, ultimately holding Hall and allowing Ted to unleash a loaded black glove before making a pin.

After the match Ted, Arn, and Tully continued their assault leaving Hall lying on the mat as the show ended.

UWF TV: Power Pro Wrestling Week 3 June

The show opened with Ted DiBiase, Arn Anderson, and Tully Blanchard in the ring with Toni Collins. Ted says that this group should come as no surprise because it is common knowledge that Tully and Ted went to school together and faced Arn on the football field many times during those years. Ted goes on to say it was Ted that convinced Arn and Tully to come to the UWF. Ted then goes on to say that this new Rat Pack was the greatest collection of wrestling talent the world has ever seen and no collection of men, whether it was a team, a trio, or a group of four could match their skill. Arn agrees that this group is the best ever formed and unlike other teams that meet later in life and collaborate the three of them have history that goes beyond the ring and that makes them more in sync than anyone has ever been. Tully ends the promo by saying the days of paper champions and unworthy wrestlers holding titles is coming to an end!

Los Guerreros defeated The Samoan Wildmen and Kokina w/Downtown Bruno Lauer

Chavo and Hector were joined for this match by their younger brother Eddy who the announcers said was quite the up and comer. Once again the speed of the Guerreros were able to keep the power of The Samoans at bay. Bruno tried to interfere but Eddy stopped him with a dropkick that took Bruno off the apron. As Bruno lay there he called for Haku and Tama to come out but they never arrived. Chavo finished off Samu with a Moonsault as Eddy and Hector dropkicked Fatu and Kokina off the apron.

The camera went backstage where something was reported to be going down. When we get parking area we see The Freebirds beating down Haku and Tama with baseball bats. Eventually the rest of the Samoans arrive but not before the Freebirds high tail it out of the arena in a pickup truck.

Sheik Sid Steele w/Skandor Akbar defeated Brad Armstrong

This was quite one sided, with Sid dominating.

We cut to a video promo from Krusher Kruschev who is said to be back in the Soviet Union. Krusher stands before a snowy field and lets the fans know he is at the farm of a “comrade.” Krusher than goes on to say that he is tired of the fake Sheik ruining their tag team matches so he has sought out someone who can truly dominate the tag team scene in the UWF.

The Dream Team defeated The Twin Terrors

This was a back and forth match with neither team being able to use their unique talents to get an advantage. Toni Collins did come out and try to distract Chris Adams but he ignored her causing her to attack and get the Twin Terrors DQ'ed.

Bill Watts came out to the ring and said he was sorry to say that Sting's request was denied due to Ted DiBiase being named the next man to face Sting for the UWF TV Title. He then went on to say he was waiting for fingerprint evidence he submitted to the police to come back so that we would know without a doubt the identity of the mysterious attacker who has taken out so many UWF superstars. Bill ended the promo by saying if any of the Rat Pack involved themselves in tonight's main event then all three of them would be fired!

Scott Hall defeated “Wild” Bill Irwin

Scott Hall seemed to be slowed down by injury, probably due to last week's assault by the Rat Pack, which allowed Bill to nearly pick up a win several times in the match. Ultimately Scott was able to overcome his pain with the power of the fan's cheers and put Bill Irwin away with a Jumping Side Slam.

UWF TV: Power Pro Wrestling Week 4 June

Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard w/Toni Collins defeated Los Guerreros

Backstage we see Skandor arguing with Sheik Sid Steele and Krusher Kruschev. Skandor demands answers from Krusher, but Krusher says he will not reveal who he recruited until Ultra Clash. Sid says that Krusher was the reason they loss two weeks ago and maybe Sid should find a new partner. Krusher agrees and says that Sid and whoever he could scrape off the bottom of the barrel are welcome to face the Soviet Supermen at Ultra Clash! Skandor tries to talk them out of the match as the scene fades out.

Cactus Jack defeated El Caliente

A video recap of the Samoan Wildmen/Freebirds feud is played with both team being made to look like total bad asses.

Ted DiBiase defeated Sting

Eddie Gilbert and Missy Hyatt came down to ringside during this match distracting Sting in the process. Ted nearly won the title due to this distraction but Missy quickly grabbed the referee causing him to call for the DQ on Sting! Ted looked upset that he didn't win the title and was about to get into Gilbert's face, but The Steiner Brothers ran out to the ring causing Ted to leave the scene.

After the match The Steiners and Gilbert triple teamed Sting. Gilbert grabbed the UWF TV Title and walked out of the arena with it as Sting lay in the ring unconscious.

Scott Hall defeated Super Olympia

The show ended with Bill Watts in the ring holding an envelope. Bill claims he has yet to open this envelope because he wanted to do it in front of the UWF fans on TV so there is no doubt about its contents. As Bill is about to open the envelope the lights go out. When the lights come back Bill is laid out and the envelope is missing.

UWF Ultra Clash June 1987

Chavo Guerrero defeated Jeff Gaylord

The Twin Terrors defeated The Fantastics

The Fabulous Freebirds w/Sunshine defeated Fatu, Samu, and Kokina w/Downtown Bruno Lauer

This was a hard brawling match between two teams looking to end the other. The announcers noted that Haku and Tama were not in the building tonight and so we would not get a repeat of last month's 5 on 3 assault. The match ended with Terry Gordy and Buddy Roberts brawling with Fatu and Samu outside the ring as Michael Hayes pinned Kokina in the ring.

Eddie Gilbert w/Missy Hyatt defeated El Caliente

The Steiners w/Eddie Gilbert and Missy Hyatt defeated The Lightning Express

Mr. Olympia defeated Iceman King Parsons

The Dream Team defeated The Sheepherders

Sting defeated Black Bart

The Soviet Supermen (Krusher Kruschev and Sergei Koloff) drew with Sheik Sid Steele and Bam Bam Bigelow

This was less a wrestling match a more of a pier six brawl with both teams unloading plenty of closed fist and hard kicks. Eventually the brawling led to the outside of the ring and a count out for both teams.

Super Olympia defeated Eli the Eliminator

Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard w/Toni Collins defeated The Midnight Rockers to retain the UWF Tag Team Championship

Arn and Tully made a quick introduction before the match, letting the fans know they were up against the AWA Tag Team Champions the Midnight Rockers. This was quite the back and forth match with both Shawn and Marty using quick tags and plenty of high flying to keep Arn and Tully off their game. Things came to an end when Toni Collins distracted Shawn with her “assets” and Arn made a pin with a fist full of tights.

Ted DiBiase defeated Scott Hall to win the UWF Heavyweight Championship

This was an instant classic with both men giving it their all to capture wrestling's top prize. Scott Hall had a slight power advantage and looked to be on the verge of victory when the Rat Pack showed up and caused a distraction that allowed Ted DiBiase to use his loaded black glove on Hall and get the victory and the title.
