EA UFC 2 game renders?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone purchased the game? its extremely difficult to find decent youtube videos about the game. I'm wondering how easy it is to take a screenshot of create a fighters on the game and use them as renders in my wmma4 game. I tend to create a lot of random cans who populate my game world and it would be nice to create 100's of generic create a fighters on there a lot of them looking pretty similar maybe with less different skin tone or a different hairstyle? I haven't bought the game and probably wont if I can't do this because the last several ufc's have been terrible as I won't play online.

Unfortunately EA UFC 2 suffers from a major case of the micro transaction syndrome with one of the side effects being a stripped down single player mode. I recently completed Career Mode with a created fighter, unlocking Tyson, Rutten, and Sakuruba because I'm not giving EA any more of my money (you can buy them via DLC). If I dropped $60 for a non MMO game, I expect some return on my investment via a complete single player experience. Since EA clearly screwed over the single player crowd in favor in chasing casual online gamers via that Ultimate Team gambling simulation garbage, they not getting anymore of my money until they finally clean house at corporate HQ and start caring about the gamers rather than the bottom line. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> [/rant]

I have no idea what that had to do with his question but ok...

and out of curiosity what is your issue with the single player? you say you have an issue but dont say what it actually is.. I own the game and have had no issues. What do you think online has that single player doesnt?

Same here. the game is excellent.. It's very difficult to create a single player experience for a game like that. Make a scripted career mode (the last fight night) and the people cry because they can't do what they want. Make a career mode like UFC 2 and the people cry also.

As for the render, I have no idea. It would be difficult. take a screenshot, cut the picture ?

Just do the regular online fighting then w/ the licensed fighters. Sounds like you are just pissed that you know people are buying more packs than you are willing to purchase.

Nobody said you had to play Ultimate Team. Just fight the regular fighters and move up that way.

<p>Yeah it's super easy too. This is the best way to do it (on PS4 btw)...</p><p> </p><p>

step 1: create a fighter</p><p>

step 2: start a fight with said fighter</p><p>

step 3: the best time to take a screenshot is when it's doing the tale of the tape because the background is the easiest to photoshop out (made that mistake the first time)</p><p>

step 4: tweet it/ whatever to yourself</p><p>

step 5: save it on your computer and photoshop it</p>

I see where he is coming from with the single player career mode. Compared to other modern games the offering is pretty bare bones in my opinion. I've went through the career mode a few times so far and its a drag fighting created fighters that are under weight and then transitioning to fighting fighters well past their prime (i.e. Recently fought a 46 year old Rampage for the belt). The first game at least tried to expand the career mode with pre packaged promos and encouragement videos from other fighters. This one seems to be all about training until you have a high enough score to sim the mini games and then fight. No camp selection or anything. Haven't tried Ultimate Team yet though it looks like it might be pretty fun! Everyone plays a game for a different reasons though

<p>Resizing it down is not an issue. That being said, I don't succeed in exporting screenshots from the xbox to my PC, which is a pity. Some good renders to be had here. <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Apparently you need to be a subscriber for that service. I might get it for a month, but that would require me to add a credit card probably. Then you can put them on OneDrive.</p><p> </p><p>

As for the Gameface feature: that works great if you input your renders. Some do come out as some sort of alien, but then I realised the render itself looked a little alienish too so that's probably my fault.</p><p> </p><p>

Done two careers now, but I had to retire after 30/32 fights. This might be 'realistic', but I could've done with a couple more tbh. Once you hit your maximum they immediately start dropping down. I laughed hysterically as I trained three 'heavy' times and didn't get a single injury, then trained 'light' the time thereafter and got two permanent injuries. Does the whole thing even matter? I find that you might as well go hard, as you replenish the lost stats easily anyway. Whether I train heavy or light, the retirement meter advances with the same chunk. Another burst of laughter as I sat on the no1 contender spot for a year watching the people I beat get title shots against the 19-10 champion.</p><p> </p><p>

EDIT: Well... I'm not going to pay 10€ just to take some screens. Not going to happen. It's pointless anyway as the pic in this thread illustrates. Fighters miss about 50pix to the side, making it unusable for WMMA. I guess you can put a banner in its place with the name or something, but it's still bad.</p>

I had some free 14day card from Halo4 lying around, which is apparently enough to get to take screens, but it's a long-winded process unfortunately. Here's a test of the character I used for my first career, but just quickly cut.

Also, by combining the picture from the pre-fight intro and the tale of the tape, you can overwrite the name + flag, though it doesn't disturb that much.

The thing is that the roster itself was already featured for real on the UFC site, so it's pointless for the real life database. These could server as good free workers though, and could provide a chuckle here and there as their stats might differ from the real thing. :p

that sucks, like I said it would be a good option for those who have games with a lot of created fighers without pics. I was thinking of creating a guy and than taking a pic of him with each different hair style and for the local cans and it will be like having 30 different renders.
