Dragon Pro Wrestling...From the bottom up...

Recommended Posts

So I know that TEW 2016 is coming out, hopefully in a few weeks, but I am trying to get a game that i can stick with and have fun until then. So for this dynasty, I am using my created DPW fed to go from 0/0/0/a lot of money, to see how far I can get them to raise. The owner of DPW is KC Glenn, and my character Relik, is the booker. Originally this was a RTG game, but I decided that I would rather make Relik really good, with no pop because, well its my game :D.

The Starting Roster:

Relik

K.P. Kruise (K.P. Avatar)

Canadian Crusher

Steven Parker

Greg Gauge

Jack Hogan (Jack Avatar)

KC Glenn

Mikey James

Matthew Keith

Philippe LaGrenier

El Mitico Jr

Amazing Fire Fly

Morgan Malone

Acid II

James Hernandez

Kirk Jameson

I will post the first show here soon, and for atleast the time being, I think i am going to be writing the rest of the dynasty for the viewpoint of Relik. I hope everybody enjoys!!

Probably should give everybody an overview of what to expect. I am going to be trying to do a more "realistic" promotion in which I do not predetermine any winners, at least until I get a TV show. There will be minimal angles in the beginning, but I do plan to implement some. The DPW logo is from somebody on the board, that I cannot find anymore. I take no credit for the concepts I am using either, but full credit goes to Nobby_McDonald, thanks again for your inspiration.

I want to plug and thank Nobby_McDonald for his promotions product setting which this is based off of. Also I am shamelessly using the base concept from him as well and this is all from his amazing dynasty Pro Wrestling...But Not Quite as you know it... which is hands down my favorite dynasty!

My buddy KC, trusted me with booking the first show and thankfully we have some awesome talent. Its almost like I do not even need to try to make a good show, as we have everybody to become huge successes. Here goes nothing, my first time book, and my first time competing in front of fans.

http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk183/Ryan_Cucunato/DragonProWrest1_zps2pbbkves.jpg

DPW: The Beginning

Venue: Colorado Springs Bar

Overall: 65

Attendance: 14

Philippe LeGrenier v. Relik

I love being first on the card, it helps give me even more energy to compete. My first opponent was another young wrestler, Philippe. He is a class act and good in the ring. Overall we clicked pretty well, and were able to get the crowd going for the rest of the night. I was able to pull out the wing with Relik Dive.

Rating: 49

K.P. Kruise v. El Mitico Jr

Two more young rookies went head to head. El Mitico Jr, is one of the most amazing workers I have ever seen and I think the sky is the limit for this kid. El Mitico Jr's fast paced, high flying action really help make K.P. Kruise look good. K.P. is able to connect with the crowd like nobody else, however his in ring work is rough, but El Mitico Jr made him look dangerous. K.P was able to pull out the win in the end.

Rating:44

Amazing Fire Fly v. Canadian Crusher

Unfortunately our worest match fo the night, but for us it was not too bad of a match. Canadian Crusher is somebody who I have high hopes for, despite his complete greenness, and to be honest, terrible in ring work, he is quite menacing. Amazing Fire Fly, was able to bounce around the ring, and wow fans like nobody I have ever seen. He is by far our best high flyer and he was able to keep Crusher grounded and off balance for most of the match. Crusher displayed his strength when he caught Amazing Fire Fly's top rope hurricanrana until a devestating powerbomb for a win.

Rating: 40

Morgan Malone v. Steven Parker

One of our younger workers, Morgan, did his best to keep pace with one of our most consistent and best workers, Steven, but was just not able to keep pace with Steven. Steven wrestled circles around Morgan and put him away with minimal problems.

Rating:54

Greg Gauge v. Acid II

Two more great workers went out and put it all on the line. Acid II was flying around the ring and wowing the fans with his incredible offense. But to surprise of nobody, Greg was able to eventaully take control of the match and slow it down. Greg is a great technician and was able to keep Acid grounded. Greg got the submission win, after a great match.

Rating:53

James Hernandez v. Jack Hogan

The biggest upset of the night, and maybe of our future. James Hernandez, who I figured would be our first world champion, put Jack into a wrestling clinic. Jack struggled to keep up with James throughout the match. Both workers did a good job of selling each others offense, but the crowd was stunned when Jack rolled up James for the pin and win.

Rating:54

KC Glenn v. Kirk Jameson

KC (somebody who is honestly going to be G.O.A.T.) fought a hell of a fight with Kirk. Both of these guys have great potential and are future Hall of Immortals. Kirk almost had the match won, but KC was able to hit a beautiful super kick for the pin and win.

Rating:61

Matthew Keith v. Mikey James

What a match, these two are simply amazing. Both of these guys are going to go far for us. These two workers put on a clinic, with great back and forth action. Mikey James was able to secure the win in the end.

Rating: 68

http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk183/Ryan_Cucunato/Road%20To%20Glory/CVFP_MaskedMale_017_zpszyktrsdc.jpg

Well overall the show was great, and had the crowd on their toes, all 14 of them... I was disappointed in the turnout but the workers busted their butts off and gave it their all. Jack had a huge upset that had the crowd stunned. KC was pleased with the overall show and we have talks about the next show.

Dave: 4 out of 8
Dave thanks for commenting you are awesome and always a supportive member of the boards! I was shocked that James lost and I plan to continue to not book any winners. I hope I can keep up the momentum.
