Game Crashes Constantly!

Recommended Posts

Yes, I helped three of them get working back in January and February. I haven't heard of any existing issues over the past 2 months. All of them involved missing or improperly registered controls. I would try running the main elicense installation here:

http://download.elicense.com/GDS/BBInstall.exe

Then, try to run the Steam version again and see if it works.

Same Issue - Have Delt with it for years

I have been a regular of BB2005 since 2008,

The system does freeze up, and has done so on all versions since then.

Currently on 1.61.1.

While you can get several hours before the system freezes, I found a way to recreate the crashes more rapidly.

Steps to recreate:

1. Start new league

2. Simulate first 6 games of season

3. Save League

4. Simulate week 7

5. Reload League

6. Repeat Steps 4 and 5 until system freezes (~ 10 times)

When I kill bb2005 in the Task Manager Screen, I get an error message that BB2005 is not responding.

When I restart bb2005, the menu screen comes up fine.

Selecting Reload League causes the system to hang an bb2005 process to lock up 12.5% of my CPU. Which is basically 1 core on my machine.

Selecting Start League, I get a partial load of the new league screen. If I click and drag to move the bb2005 window, most of the start up screen appears but is not accessible.

Only solution has been to constantly save league and to reboot the computer when it freezes.
