In the final TCW Presents Total Wrestling before Malice in Wonderland, Chief Executive of Wrestling Phil Vibert has put together an intriguimg show.

With the contract signed for the TCW World Heavyweight Title match at Malice, Vibert has decided that Rocky Golden and Aaron Andrews should each have a warm up match before the title match. With Golden facing Jay Chord and Andrews facing Mighty Mo, this should be an explosive episode of TCW Presents Total Wrestling.

Elsewhere, Eddie Peak has his own warm up match against Matt Hocking, rivals Sammy Bach and Bryan Vessey face Joel Bryant and Bart Biggins respectively and Troy Tornado and Human Arsenal continue their feud in a huge three on three tag match. Their partners? The Canadian Animals and The New Wave...

Rocky Golden vs Jay Chord

Aaron Andrews vs Mighty Mo

Bryan Vessey vs Bart Biggins

Sammy Bach vs Joel Bryant

Eddie Peak vs Matt Hocking

Rocky and AA are main eventers about to wrestle for the World Title, and Vessey, Bach and Peak are top guys heading into PPV matches, so it's hard to see any of them losing to a midcarder at this point.

Troy Tornado and The Canadian Animals vs Human Arsenal and The New Wave

I'm looking for a draw or non-finish here. Tornado and the Animals already hold victories in their respective feuds, but somehow I can't see the faces all heading into the PPV on the back of a win. If there is a finish, I'm guessing it won't be a decisive one.

And what the heck is going on with Vibert's bias against giant guys who can't wrestle? First Tana and now Killer Shark? If BriCo management had any brains, they'd have Phil stick those two in a program and watch the money roll in.

In all seriousness, though, it doesn't take much development before Shark is a super valuable asset given his physical characteristics. Plus he's a product of TCW's own wrestling school--got to stay loyal to your own guys. And I've been very pleasantly surprised at how strong Tana's match grades have been in my own games. The TCW fanbase is definitely not opposed to short brawls between big guys in my experience.

Rocky is cool, calm and collected, focused on a plan of using his strength to control Chord. Jay Chord on the other hand is clearly on edge – there is an insecurity bubbling beneath the surface that leads to erratic attacks and actions. Case in point, Golden is picking off Chord with clotheslines until he misses a charge. Chord's response is to weight in with rapid strikes to the face, then a knee lift, then an arm wringer to try and nullify Golden's strength...then a dropkick. Chord isn't sticking to a plan, he's trying to prove himself against TCW's figurehead, prove that he can hang with him.

However, Chord's problem is that he can't hang with Golden – he's too focused on using the biggest moves in his armory to impress rather than executing a gameplan to win. Golden is able to take advantage of this, dodging a telegraphed top rope clothesline and watching Chord crash to the mat. Big kicks to the shoulder, a single arm DDT and a hammerlock drive into the corner cause Golden to grimace in pain.
Thursday Week 4 January 2016

After Total Wrestling, I didn't need to attend the house show in Rochester. As a Tri State native, I could go home and sleep for a few days...Malice wasn't until Sunday, so I had four days to rest, block out Eddie's snoring and try and repress the memories of his driving...

I also had a lot of work to do – fine tune Malice in Wonderland and catch up with our competitors

SWF Supreme TV on Tuesday had been a good show, the best show of theirs this year. The highlight for me was Angry Gilmore showing his usual fire in his interview before going to a wild no contest with Rogue. There was a real edge to this match, not the usual neutured SWF crap I usually had to suffer. The TEW.com nerds gave the show B+ which seemed fair to me...

I had two USPW shows to watch, as USPW had ran a PPV...well, a streamed supershow, sue me I'm old fashioned, on Tuesday night. Stars, Stripes and Slams! didn't really blow me away. The TEW.com geek squad gave the show a B- in their write up, but I wasn't impressed. Steve Freshley beat Rick Law in a good main event, but that was it. Nicky Champion only showed up to brawl with Baine – why? If I'm booking, Champion is front and centre of everything we do, he is USPW. No Rich Money either...why would you leave one of the best heels in the business off the show?

American Wrestling was better...Rich Money pinned Rick Law in a very good main, while Nicky Champion and Steve Freshley had a fun brawl. Champion also had a fine match with Nelson Callum, which I enjoyed – as I said, Champion is a great asset for USPW. TEW.com said B, I agreed.

After 7 hours of wrestling and a 14' pepperoni pizza I was ready to sleep, especially in my own bed for a change. I flicked the TV off, put my head on the pillow....

"PHILLIP!" IT'S YOUR MOTHER – WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU WERE IN TOWN? OPEN THE DOOR!"

I sighed...if it wasn't wrestlers disturbing me it was Ma...I didn't think I'd miss Eddie while at home, but hey I was wrong-

"PHILLIP!"

"Coming Ma!!!"
