What is Superstar Billy Graham and Bob Backlund doing? The Current NWA Champions are as follows: NWA World: Jimmy Golden (he beat Smith Hart who beat Harley Race) NWA World Juniorweight: Eric Embry (he is the fifth person to hold the title) NWA Woman's: Dump Matsumoto (Moolah started as the champion but I started my own woman's title so I haven't pursued it. Since winning the title I've signed Dump to a written contract, and she has defended the title on WWF shows once or twice) AWA is currently at Regional and #8 while I'm #7 and at cult. I have a working agreement with them, however, Verne now strongly dislikes me so we'll see how long that lasts. Bruno Sammartino was going to be my unofficial figurehead. I'd planned to give him a lengthy third title reign, but he was appointed CEO of EMLL. With his position as CEO he is unavailable for about half my shows, so I decided he needed to lose the title. I'm not sure what exactly is next for him. I'm working my current storylines through December, so he will feud with Terry Funk until the new year. Billy Graham works for HCW and NWA Amarillo and is currently the NWA American Heavyweight Champion (Houston). Bob Backlund is signed to WWF, AWA, and CWA (Europe). With my new signings he quickly fell off the Franchise Player list, but I'm using him to elevate a newly returning Hulk Hogan who is now a Main Eventer thanks to his recent movie role. Basically my fictional self who is a successful musician, filmmaker, actor, and business mogul with the maximum amount of money allowed in the game. I started a company at Cult and signed up a lot of guys, including netting Eddie Guerrero, John Cena, and Kurt Angle (as well as most of their refs, as well as Steve Kiern as a road agent...and Michael Cole) from WWE. There's a harsh drug policy so guys like Angle, Jeff, BG James, and Andrew Martin (who I really wanted to push) are having problems staying on, but I have guys like Punk, Bryan, AMW, Hero/Claudio, and surprisingly Kip James that are keeping me on the climb.</p><p> </p><p> As of the last show New Beginnings II in January of 2006.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> CCW Heavyweight Title - Samoa Joe (x1) - Recently won the title in the main event of New Beginnings II after defeating Kurt Angle in their first ever encounter (also my highest rated).</p><p> </p><p> CCW Openweight Title - CM Punk (x2) - Recently won his second reign at New Beginnings II over Eddie Guerrero. Are set for a rematch in mid-February at CCW 13: Punk vs. Guerrero III in a 60-Minute Iron Man Match.</p><p> </p><p> CCW Tag Team Titles - Team Storm (KENTA and Sylvain Grenier) (x1) - Won in November. A chance pairing that found themselves together when Sylvain debuted to aid Lance Storm. KENTA soon joined up and the two started teaming together. A surprisingly great chemsitry later and they are duking it together against CCW's best in America's Most Wanted and The Kings of Wrestling. Recently retained against those two teams at New Beginnings II.</p><p> </p><p> CCW Junior Heavyweight Title - Roderick Strong (x1) - Recently won the title against Brian Kendrick at New Beginnings II. Joined in December in order to have some level of talent in the Junior Heavyweight division whilst joining Team Storm. Won in his first title match on the main card.</p><p> </p><p> CCW Golden Ticket - Samoa Joe (x1) - The Golden Ticket is a 7-Man Tournament that was complicated and honestly written on the fly. Three man face off in three one-on-one matches. The winners of those matches face off in a three-way. The winner of that three-way gets the first seed. The losers of those one-on-one matches ALSO face-off in a three-way. The winner of THAT three-way gets second seed while the person NOT pinned gets third seed. Meanwhile, a last chance battle royal is held where the winner takes on the person who was pinned. The winner of THAT match gets the fourth seed. Seed 1 takes on Seed 4 and Seed 2 takes on Seed 3 in a one-night 4-man single elimination tournament in October. Winner gets the Golden Ticket Briefcase and a Heavyweight Title shot at New Beginnings II. But beware, there are two months and a load of roster members who would do anything to take that briefcase.
