<p>I second Jaysin's comment on Martyr. Really great! As for Haley, I'm not an expert on female renders but you might want to soften some of the features a bit. It's definitely right there though. I agree. I don't enjoy using any of the Gen3 characters. They feel so stiff to me.

I think it might be the expressions you're using. They are kind of stark and extreme. You might want to try to make them a little more subtle.

Third time is indeed the charm. Haley looks wonderful there.

Yup, there you go! Nice job

perfecto!

Thanks guys! The more I look at it the happier I am with the third versions of Haley.

Here's a few more random unemployed guys and what not...

CH Threepwood - There is already a really good CH render out there (I think Shipshirt did it) but I wanted to give him a new look for my RTG game.

<p>Looks great.</p><p> </p><p>

Honestly I didn't think there was anything wrong with V1 of Haley. I'm not familiar with the character at all, but strong facial features could be a benefit in some cases. I also don't really see the difference in rendering women and men. Is there one outside of the figure used? <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Exaggerated features on a male character can work in a comic book aesthetic. The hard, defined lines and angles of a male face lend themselves to overemphasis without looking grotesque; a quality that does not mesh well with the softer features of a female. The same applies to expressions which, in my opinion matter even more. A subtle expression as opposed to an exaggerated, over the top expression can make a world of difference in a render.</p><p> </p><p> Anyway, just my $.02. I have a picture of Haley Buck cooking right now. I will post when it is finished.</p>

He just rendered a character and you're going to do the exact same one hours later? <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Obviously you do whatever you feel like and any contributions are greatly appreciated, but shouldn't we be working towards rerendering the rest?

<p>Great work all around, gentlemen. I love these periods of increased activity in the re-render thread. Sometimes I'll burn myself out on TEW and go through a long stretch without playing, and you folks never fail to pull me back into it. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

RE: the last couple of posts, I think it's always cool to have as many options as you guys feel like putting out there. Blackman, you yourself have put out some great re-renders for workers who already had great re-renders available, so I don't really understand. I wouldn't want to do without your take on those workers just because they'd been done before.</p><p> </p><p>

I can only speak for myself, but I'll find a way to use everyone's version if it's not such a distinct a character that it would be too obvious. Haley Buck for example, I'm way too attached to J Silver's updated render to use anything else at this point, but I'm very excited to use willr0ck's renders for a newly-generated worker. They're excellent. The more unused renders I have saved, the more comfortable I feel turning up the New Worker Frequency. I can't stand having Regeneration turned on, and considering dannewman is pretty much the only guy putting out renders specifically to be used for Free Pictures (and bless him for that), I'm grateful for whatever I can use from this thread. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

It's all groovy if 3/4 people want to do interpretations of a character. No point locking off and limiting what can be rendered just because a set has been done already.

Sure, the original V1 mission statement was to re-render tbe entire verse, but the first post itself these days states that this thread is just for posting re-renders for characters.

<p>But the mission musn't fail, damnit! <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

There, there. It was just a suggestion. Like I said: everybody does whatever he feels like and everything is appreciated. I can't say it any nicer than that. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I personally use other people's rerenders for other character from time to time, and I know for a fact people use mine for other characters. It's all good.</p>

Yeah, for sure. Your WMMA folder is my go-to resource for female workers who haven't been re-rendered (just counted, and I'm using over 20 of them for that purpose <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />), but now that you mention it, I've done the same with TEW re-renders even for default workers. Jack Avatar has been using one of the handful of KC Glenn renders for a good while now.

So was going through my files and came across some full body pngs from the Thunderverse Diamond creation process. I've backgrounded some of them based on having asked the original artist's permissions to transfer them to CV. Got some re-renders.
