Could I please convince you to do rerender of Jefferson Stardust? Maybe bearded/more heelish?

I don't have the resources to pull off Stardust. If I ever do then I will be sure to give him a shot. Thanks for taking interest though!

Some re-renders of a few characters plus a new render.

Wow you are stepping up your game! I have one critique to make if you will hear me out.

Try not to have the person standing straight down the middle. They tend to have way more personality when they shot a little bit from the side or a little bit more or less vertical. I'll even show you what I'm talking about using your own work.

When he is standing a bit sideways to the camera he feels way more interesting then when he is standing straight on. When he is standing straight on he feels like he is being arrested.

I have a feeling this would look 10x better if you pointed the camera up to his face to make him feel taller. Basically if you pay attention to any promotional shots in wrestling if they are meant to be either big or menacing they will have them shot as if you are staring at a giant. If it is anyone else have them stand off center from the camera but you can have their eyes locked on to it. This subtle trick will improve your renders 10 fold.

I prefer the straight ahead renders and since I'm making them I usually go with my preference but I've tried to add more angles and posing to my renders since the dead on look is off putting to some

The issue with straight ahead renders is that in real life if you look at photos people tend to have things like head tilts or slightly odd facial expressions etc. In esteels case with most of his characters being masked the straight on look can make them look a bit more artificial because you don't get facial expression to add that sense of humanity about the characters. So little head tilts and the like can add an awful lot just by giving a slight sense of movement and dynamism to those headshots.

There's a render I mentioned I loved a few posts back where the character has a sneer. Even though he's masked that tiny bit of expression is enough to bring it to life. It's those little things that turn a good render into a great render for mine.

(Lance Storm made a career out of it) It is just that very few human beings will be in the stiff as a board pose (Passport pictures and mugshots are the only that come to mind). One of the factors about wrestling is personality and drawing people in. Even down to subtle mannerisms if you can get somebody to love or hate you by the way you carry yourself then you are doing your job.

Your posed Crimson Ghost feels more alive now that he is in a more organic pose.

http://orig15.deviantart.net/4e5c/f/2013/330/8/9/stone_cold_steve_austin_studio_shot_by_mr_igfx-d6vpljy.jpg

Take for instance Stone Cold Steve Austin. Even him displaying no emotion what so ever he is still telling a story by the way he is posed and the look in his eyes.

As alpha has stated simply tilting their head can make them feel alive and really pop off the screen.
