[RELEASE] C-Verse 2005

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone. I'm working on an update. It will include employment histories, changes in physical health (too many 10-20 year vets with 100% health), and contracts edited to take travel costs out (travel costs, I think, are killing small feds too quickly).

I'll look into the dojo trainers and pictures. I kind of plan on doing pictures as a future update, with the pictures that I like the best, I'm not guaranteeing that, though.

If I don't have it today, it will be tomorrow.

Alright folks. I have uploaded a new version. This will very likely be the last one, as I have another C-Verse project I want to start.

Unless people find glaring errors, or things that need to be fixed, consider this the ultimate release.

Thanks for playing, let us know what you think!

Any chance of a hint at the next project? 2008? 2007? 2010?

Stennick and Nightshade,

Do you guys mind if I use your mod combined with a few things from the 97 mod and other stuff to make a TEW-Wrestling Spirit mod that is set in June of 2005? I was originally going to do 2004 but its a bit harder to find the rosters of the companies for 2004..

Night and I have another mod in the works and there are plans together and separate for other issues so we do ask that people ask as we wouldn't want to overlap with our own plans but by all means have at it.

September 06. Sam Strong owns USPW, Jeff Nova just bought 21CW, INSPIRE just finished its first tour. It's going to be awesome!

Echoing Stennick, feel free to use what we have. Thank you for asking, and good luck. I've poured a bunch of hours into this.

If you're interested in 04, canon rosters can be found through employment histories, then you fill in the blanks. That's mainly what I've been doing.

I feel like some people who debut after the game starts don't have a popularity matching the fact they just debuted (Jay Chord debuting with a 48 pop all over Canada, Matthew Gauge debuting with 30 pop all over Japan). Not sure if this actually reflects how their popularity was in the original databases.

I'm not sure if this is a problem with the data or not but I've been running a RTG on this and I'm now up to 2008, March to be exact. In the first year of my save, every promotion in Australia went under. 2007 started without a single Australian promotion. In the second year, the best promotion in the world (three times winner) PGHW declared bankruptcy when they were a ginormous 7 million dollars in debt. Now I've just dived in the editor to see how other promotions are doing and seen that Burning Hammer are 1.7 million dollars in debt and will surely declare bankruptcy sooner rather than later. This leaves Hinote Dojo as one of the only promotions still going in Japan. It's odd because no other promotion is hiring the talent and most of the top ten guys in the Power 500 are now unemployed.

On top of that, both NYCW and CZCW have declared bankruptcy now too. It feels like most of the promotions are absolutely hemorrhaging money and even though I only had a quick scan over, SWF and 21CW are the only promotions with spending power at the minute. Is this a problem with the data? It just seems that what's going on here is pretty unrealistic.

The Australian scene is meant to die because of course in 2008 they all get bought out by the big Australian company.

The others are not meant to happen. I have not had that happen in any of my long term saves but I'll certainly look into it and see if there is any way to stop this from happening.

Thank you so much for your feedback.
