Kurt Angle cut a fantastic promo saying that DAWN is the place to be, and he's not going to stop wrestling until he leaves a hefty legacy here. This is the Dawning of Pro Wrestling, and this is the resurgence of Kurt Angle. Though Speedball didn't quite match everyone else, the kid showed promise. Kazarian was the true star in this one, and was there to steal pinfall after pinfall. His tactics paid off when TJP landed a Superkick to sent Trent to the outside, and then the Death From Below to Mike Bailey. Kaz pushed TJ to the outside and landed the Wave of the Future to take the win and beat Mike Bailey.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>In a bout that had decent wrestling but little heat, Kazarian defeated Trent Beretta, TJ Perkins and 'Speedball' Mike Bailey in 7:20 when Kazarian defeated 'Speedball' Mike Bailey by pinfall with a Wave of the Future.</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41891" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>In terms of in-ring work, Kazarian was head and shoulders above everyone else. The man fka Gunner was definitely outwrestled in this one, but Shelty B seemed to be missing a step on this occasion. A great back-and-forth contest to show what the Rising Star title is all about. Roddy asserted his dominance with backbreaker after backbreaker, kicking out of several high flying moves from the Filipino Zema Ion. Ion ended up submitting to the Strong Hold, keeping the champion looking strong. The first ever DAWN Heavyweight and DAWN Tag Team Champions were on opposite sides of the ring. Kurt Angle teamed up with the exciting duo of Matt Sydal and Ricochet, who looked to make a mark against Money Trail tonight. They did that for a majority of the match-up with their high octane offense. To their disappointment, however, Robert Roode was a man at work. Putting in the absolute best performance of the night, he outwrestled both high flyers. Roode was quite the match for the man who beat him to capture the big gold. A very welcomed addition to our television screens. This one was a good way to get the show started for sure, with Ricochet of the Shooting Stars being a big highlight. Roddy took a beating toward the end of it, with the heels tagging in and out and utilizing that 5 count. "Cheerleader" Melissa cheering him on allowed him to land a hot tag to Matt Sydal. Sydal ducks Low-Ki, takes Rhino and EY off the ropes with a superkick and a dropkick respectively, and then watches as Ricochet also ducks Low-Ki and dives clear over the turnbuckle post to jump on the fallen Rhino and Eric Young.
