Live From The American Legion Hall in Reseda, California.

Johnny Gargano versus Marty Scurll

Another month, another show, and kicking off tonight's show is "The Whole Shebang" Johnny Gargano taking on "Party" Marty Scurll. The latter looking a bit more out of his mind than usual. None the less, the two put on a great opening contest that ended with Marty Scurll looking for a Chickenwing, only to be countered by Johnny Gargano into a Hurt's Donut for the pinfall victory.

Rating: 63 C

This match got the show off to a strong start.

This match got the crowd hotter.

Johnny Gargano had an in ring performance of 62.

Marty Scurll had an in ring performance of 50.

Nick Jackson versus Trevor Lee

The second contest of the evening was a pretty unique one. Nick Jackson was known for being a tag team specialist, but after the sad news of Nick's brother, Matt, going out of action via a stroke it's left the Young Buck to fight in singles competition. To which he showcased that he could manage, however after a missed superkick it was Trevor Lee who took advantage and hit a leaping double foot stomp for the victory.

Rating: 59 C

Nick Jackson and Trevor Lee have pretty good chemistry and it lifted the match.

This match got the crowd hotter.

Nick Jackson had an in ring performance of 62.

Trevor Lee had an in ring performance of 39.

ACH versus Noam Dar

After ACH's entrance, Angelo Trinidad took to the microphone to announce, "Ladies and gentlemen, due to travel issues, PCW Talent Noam Dar has not been able to make the show. However, the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Board of Directors have found a replacement, introducing next from Detroit, Michigan! Chrrrrrrris! Saaaaaaaabin!"

With the new match in play, the disadvantage clearly had to be on ACH. Having to prepare for one opponent, but given another couldn't be easy, but the twenty five year old wasn't going to be left looking foolish. After some time to adapt, it would be ACH coming out on top in what some may call an upset after hitting a Cradle DDT.

Rating: 74 B-

ACH had an in ring performance of 53.

Chris Sabin had an in ring performance of 74.

Chris Hero versus Rich Swann

When it was announced on twitter, many replied with saying Rich Swann didn't stand a chance, but that didn't mean "Mr. All Night Long" wasn't going to prove them wrong. In fact for most of the match it was the quickness of Swann that kept him on the offensive, Hero just not being able to catch him. When Swann finally was caught however that's when the downward spiral started until finally Chris Hero connected with a Death Blow to win the match.

Rating: 74 B-

Chris Hero had an in ring performance of 70.

Rich Swann had an in ring performance of 62.

Adam Cole versus Ricochet

Just one month after losing his PWG World Championship opportunity, the 2014 Battle of Los Angeles winner Ricochet was set to face the 2012 Battle of Los Angeles winner Adam Cole. The two put on a very evenly match. Neither one gaining too much offense compared to the other, until Ricochet popped Adam Cole up and connected with a Benadryller. As the BOLA winner went up to the top rope looking for presumably a 630 Senton however, Nick Jackson came out from the back and distracted Ricochet. It was just long enough for Adam Cole to recover and take advantage before finally hitting a Florida Key for the victory.

Rating: 74 B-

Ricochet was visibly tiring towards the end.

Adam Cole had an in ring performance of 71.

Ricochet had an in ring performance of 59.

PWG Tag Team Championship Match

The World's Cutest Tag Team(Candice LeRae and Joey Ryan)© versus The Addiction(Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian)

In the first championship match of the evening, we saw The World's Cutest Tag Team look to keep their title reign alive against The Addiction. Considering the experience level alone on The Addiction's side of the match, it was a bit of an upset when Candice LeRae hit a Ballsplex on Christopher Daniels to pick up the one-two-three for the win.

Rating: 83 B+

Candice LeRae was visibly tiring towards the end.

Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian showed excellent chemistry teaming together.

Candice LeRae and Joey Ryan showed excellent chemistry teaming together.

Christopher Daniels had an in ring performance of 92.

Frankie Kazarian had an in ring performance of 86.

Candice LeRae had an in ring performance of 50.

AJ Styles versus Matt Sydal

In what was perhaps viewed as the best match of the night by many, "The Phenomenal One" AJ Styles faced off against "Reborn" Matt Sydal. These two didn't hold back by any means, giving each other all that they had. At one point Styles had the Calf Killer locked in only for Sydal to escape. However later on in the match as Matt attempted a Standing Sydal Star Press, AJ Styles somehow rolled just at the right time and caught Matt in the Calf Killer forcing the submission victory.

Rating: 86 B+

AJ Styles had an in ring performance of 90.

Matt Sydal had an in ring performance of 66.

Matt Sydal debuted a spectacular new high spot that showcased his aerial ability; his psychology will be helped by being able to use it as a go-to spot in the near future.

PWG Championship Match

Kyle O'Reilly(c) versus Roderick Strong

It was main event time, and the PWG World Championship was on the line. Last month during intermission it was Roderick Strong who showed up and made his point known to management that not being booked was unacceptable by picking a fight with the World Champ, Kyle O'Reilly. These two don't like one another and this match was just more proof! Hard hitting kicks, chops, forearms, elbows, and punches were a constant in the match. Roderick Strong took advantage late in the match though after connecting with a brutal Sick Kick out of nowhere. Following the kick, the blood started to flow from Kyle O'Reilly's eyebrow and from there the challenger was like a shark with his pray. Stiff kick to the side of the head after sick kick to the side of the head, the repeating move lasted for nearly two minutes until Kyle couldn't even move, just laid out on the canvas, face in a pool of his own blood and out cold. Referee Rick Knox finally putting a stop to it, pushing Roddy back and calling for the bell, ending the match by way of referee stoppage, declaring Roderick Strong the new PWG World Champion.

Rating: 70 C+

Kyle O'Reilly was really off his game.

Kyle O'Reilly had an in ring performance of 54.

Roderick Strong had an in ring performance of 69.

http://i.imgur.com/UUieFwP.jpg

Following the championship victory, Roderick Strong called for a microphone. "You know, I never thought this day would come.. being able to call myself the PWG World Champion... Thinking about it now, there's really only one person I can thank.... My god damn self, not any of you pieces of s**t. Let Kyle's blood in this ring leave a message for every one of you, there's a new man in town and he's the baddest god damn man in this company, in this country, hell even in the world. I challenge anyone and everyone to step up to the plate and challenge me for this, so I can kick you in your fu**ing head and beat you like the rest of 'em.", Roddy dropped the mic after this and slid out of the ring before getting in a fan's face only to intimidate the fan before exiting to the back ending the show.

For those not aware, PWG's Mystery Vortex is the annual show where no matches are revealed and it's a surprise show. With this in play, I have four matches planned for this show that will happen, but i'm going to be running eight matches in total. What i'd like for everyone to do for the prediction contest this show is write down eight matches they'd like to see and i'll pick four of my favorites to add to the show! Happy guessing! Also, feel free to suggest bringing in new talent as well, i'm open to the idea.

<span style="font-size:8px;"><em>"Oh... Suppose I best introduce myself. They call me, Party Marty. Guess it goes back to my youth! Those were the days, no? A long time ago, an even younger whippersnapper came into a business that he wanted to be in for his whole life, and what happened? Grizzled vet's and old men who never made a dime gobbled me up into the hideous lifestyle! Back then I was young and dumb, never one to ask questions so of course I took the drinks they gave me, popped the pills that were handed over, and looking back on it I guess really those old men are to blame. Ahahaha... To blame for what though? Fear not, that will all be revealed in due time, in due time. The feeling of not knowing who may show up out of the curtain next is outstanding, so as Mystery Vortex III got underway the crowd was excited. "The Prince of Queens" Brian Myers was set to take on the recently dubbed "Villain" Marty Scurll. During the match, Marty showed off a lot of this new attitude. A more vicious side about him compared to the past couple of months, and that attitude is what led <strong>Marty Scurll</strong> to pick up the win via submission by way of a CHIIIIIICKENWING!</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>Rating: 58 C-</strong></span></p></div><p><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong> Brian Myers really seemed off his game.</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong> This match got the show off to a strong start.</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong> This match got the crowd hotter.</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong> Brian Myers had an in ring performance of 53.</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong> Marty Scurll had an in ring performance of 51.</strong></span></p><p></p><p></p><p> <hr></p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/rFucURL.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/WmTj6db.png</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/qoYuFuz.jpg</span></p><p> <strong>Rich Swann</strong> versus <strong>Ricochet</strong></p><p> The second contest of the night was surely to be an interesting one, leaving the fans chanting <em>"All Night Long!"</em> for nearly the entire bout. Tag team partners, Rich Swann and Ricochet were pitted against each other and this was a big opportunity for Swann to show he as well was a talented singles competitor. Even after taking <strong>Ricochet</strong> to his limit though, the 2014 Battle of Los Angeles winner dug deep and caught Rich with a big dropkick followed by the 630 Senton for the win.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>Rating: 76 B-</strong></span></p></div><p><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong> This match got the crowd hotter.</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong> Rich Swann had an in ring performance of 70.</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong> Ricochet had an in ring performance of 70.</strong></span></p><p></p><p></p><p> <hr></p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/cA03EoE.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/Kr4sKT9.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/WmTj6db.png</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/l4vqXm5.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/AiCDlLC.jpg</span></p><p> <strong>The Addiction(Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian)</strong> versus <strong>The Semi-Young Bucks(Marty Jannetty and Nick Jackson)</strong></p><p> Quite possibly the biggest "What the f**k?!" surprise of the night came during this match. However after Nick Jackson strolled out, he pointed to the curtain and instead of Matt Jackson, out came Marty f'n Jannetty. <p>Glad to see the reactions for Jannetty! Couple things to note about Mystery Vortex III.</p><p> </p><p>

- Originally plans were going to be Adam Cole versus Cedric Alexander, and Brian Kendrick and Paul London versus Brian Cage and Michael Elgin. London showed up so high on soft drugs that he was sent home, so he was fired.</p><p> </p><p>

- Tozawa, Jannetty, and Ultimo were all brought in for one appearance, though as you know Ultimo will be at the tournament show coming in December.</p><p> </p><p>

- Kendrick and London originally were brought in for three appearances only, so expect to see two more Kendrick singles matches in the near future.</p><p> </p><p>

- By defeating Chris Hero, Drew Galloway has earned an official PWG roster spot, and will be replacing Hero in the GFW World Championship Tournament.</p>

Dumb shit. I'm not a fan of London or Kendrick though. So no big deal I guess. Other than having to see Kendrick two more times. :(

Wewt. I'm digging Drew Galloway ever since leaving WWE. Just finished BOLA 2015 the other night with my wife. He was fun to watch on it. So I'm looking forward to seeing him more in your dynasty.
