bsmitty
Very frustrating. In season 2 of a new league. All of sudden when I try to load league, I'm getting the message "No save available. Create a league first." I have 4 leagues and now all of the leagues are saying this. Any thoughts?
Arlie Rahn
That is odd. Can you locate the save folders in your Bowl Bound main directory? It should be C:\Program Files (x86)\GDS\Bowl Bound\Saves. Are you running the Steam version?
bsmitty
found the file. Has all the leagues listed. Now what? Don't believe I'm running the Steam version. Unless that's the same as the 1.62 version or whatever the most recent version is called?
Arlie Rahn
Make sure that the save folder has the following files. I'll use "NCL" as the save name: NCL.sav setup.dat stats.dat If a .sav and both .dat files are the there, the save should load. Just make sure they are located here for the elicense version (where C is the drive you installed on): C:\Program Files (x86)\GDS\Bowl Bound College Football\saves Or here for the Steam version: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Bowl Bound College Football\saves
bsmitty
I see each of my leagues. Within each folder there is setup.dat and stats.dat. However, I don't see a .sav file in the leagues. For example one of my leagues is CFL. There is no cfl.sav file
bsmitty
follow up - under CFL folder there is a backup folder and within that folder there is cfl.sav as well as the two .dat files. Is there a way to recover the league info from the backup folder?
Arlie Rahn
The backup folder holds an older legitimate save. So, you could copy those files over the current ones if they are not working.
