Monday Night Raw

The WWE Universe was shocked to see the return of Daniel Bryan the previous night in the Royal Rumble and ecstatic to see their hero dump Roman Reigns and become the winner of the match, ending the night by leading a loud chorus of "YES!" chants. While Bryan gets time to celebrate, the bigger news comes later when Vince McMahon makes his way out.

McMahon announces that after Wrestlemania Raw will be moving back to 2 hours but that's not all, Smackdown will be broadcast live on Fridays and the first post-Mania episodes of both will be a draft for each show. That's right, the brand split is back and throughout the build-up to Mania the hype train for it is almost inescapable.

Wrestlemania 31

It's finally here the biggest event of the year, Wrestlemania! And if it wasn't big enough it is being touted as the last PPV before a "new era" unfolds on the WWE. The announcers hype up the WWE Draft that will be happening on both Raw and Smackdown throughout the show but enough messing around let's see the results!

(Pre-Show) WWE Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way: Tyson Kidd and Cesaro © (w/ Natalya) vs The New Day (w/ Xavier Woods) vs Los Matadores (w/ El Torito) vs The Usos (w/ Naomi)

It's shame this match has to be on the pre-show as the four tag teams bring it, especially Kidd and Cesaro who just unleash on the other compeitors and prove why they deserve to hold the gold. (chopper, technically) The duo eventually retain when Cesaro pins Diego after a Neutralizer.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match: Bad News Barrett © vs Dean Ambrose vs Sheamus vs Dolph Ziggler vs Luke Harper vs Roman Reigns

The main show opens up with a big ladder match for the IC title that came about due to Barrett ducking a number of challengers including a returning Sheamus and a Roman Reigns fresh off a loss to Daniel Bryan at Fastlane. Everyone gets a moment to shine in the match but the stars are clearly Ambrose, Sheamus and Reigns. After Ambrose is tossed off a ladder and into the other competitors by Sheamus it is Reigns who comes in and takes Sheamus out with a Spear right into a ladder, bending it in half with the force. Reigns easily goes and grabs the title to become the NEW Intercontinental Champion and makes a huge statement.

Stardust vs Golddust

Cody and Dustin Rhodes finally get their wish and have a match at Wrestlemania. This is a follow-up to their bout at Fastlane where Golddust managed to get a win with a rollup. Stardust is out to prove a point tonight and show that he is better than his brother. Golddust tries numerous times throughout the match to appeal to his brother but Stardust does not respond only seeming to falter when the crowd heckles him with "Cody" chants. Still Stardust is able to get the better of his brother when he escapes from the Shattered Dreams and hits Dark Matter.

Randy Orton vs Seth Rollins

Orton comes into this match seeking revenge for his treatment in The Authority by taking out their golden boy. Rollins proves a tough opponent to put down, kicking out of two separate RKOs. Orton eventually manages to beat him by sending him up into the air after a Curbstomp attempt and hitting the RKO as he makes his way down.

The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

It's time for the 2nd annual AGMBR and, as with last year, it's mainly a bunch of scrubs with a few notables, Big Show, Kane, Miz, Mizdow and Ryback. Kane is the first of them to be eliminated by Ryback before he is promptly tossed by Show. Eventually, as expected, it comes down to Big Show, Miz and Mizdow. Throughout the match Miz had been ignoring the help of Mizdow, even almost letting him get eliminated earlier in the match but now that he's facing down one of the biggest superstars on the roster he suggests teaming up. Mizdow agrees and despite Show's best attempts he's felled by the two. Miz celebrates, already assuming he's won, when Mizdow surprises him and throws him over the ropes to a huge pop from the crowd. Damien Mizdow has won the 2nd annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Mizdow celebrates with his trophy as Miz looks on furious at what has happened.

Triple H vs Sting - If Sting wins The Authority loses their power, if Triple H wins Sting will retire

It's time for one of the more hyped matches of the night as Triple H puts The Authority's newly reinstated power on the line against the man who caused them to lose it the first time, Sting. Sting is long past his prime but seeing him on the biggest stage of them all is the real treat here and Triple H manages to carry him to a decent match. Eventually, Shawn Michaels and the New Age Outlaws come out after a ref bump to beat on Sting but Sting fends them all off when he gets his baseball bat. Triple H brings out his sledgehammer but he's stopped from using it be a shot to the stomach. A new ref runs down as Sting hits the Scorpion Death Drop to beat Triple H. The Authority has lost their power! Sting celebrates his victory as Stephanie McMahon comes out to check on her husband and the couple wallow in their defeat.

AJ Lee and Paige vs The Bella Twins

Nikki Bella took the Diva's championship from AJ Lee months back and has screwed Paige out of numerous opportunities at it so now the two have teamed up to take on Nikki and Brie. The match is nothing too compelling as AJ and Paige are clearly better competitors, eventually AJ Lee locks in Black Widow on Brie Bella to win the match for her team.

WWE United State Championship: Rusev © (w/ Lana) vs John Cena

Cena lost to Rusev at Fastlane but gets a second chance here tonight to take down the Bulgarian Brute. Rusev dominates Cena in the early going almost ending the match early with an Accolade but Cena eventually builds up to that comeback that he's known for. A Five Knuckle Shuffle and Attitude Adjustment later and that's all she wrote. John Cena is the NEW United States champion!

The Undertaker vs Bray Wyatt

Undertaker made his return on the first Raw after Fastlane and was interrupted by Bray Wyatt before he could say a single word. Wyatt laid out Taker and in the ensuing weeks questioned if The Phenom still had what it takes. Undertaker eventually showed up to pummel Wyatt on the last Raw before Mania and now it's time to see just how much The Deadman has left in the tank. Taker seems slow to go on the offense at first as Wyatt gets in some easy attacks even mocking Taker with his pop-up. This seems to be what inspires Taker to take it to the next level and give all that offense back to Wyatt. Taker survives a Sister Abgail and eventually lands the Tombstone Piledriver to gain the victory.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Brock Lesnar © (w/ Paul Heyman) vs Daniel Bryan

Lesnar is coming into the main event as the champion taking on the man who was forced to vacate that title. Bryan is the clear crowd favorite going in but it doesn't take long for Lesnar to dominate. He lands a total of 6 suplexes on Bryan in the first half of the match, eventually shouting "Suplex City, bitch!" at the downed Bryan. Bryan eventually rallies a comeback with his stiff kicks eventually sending Lesnar down to the ground in time to lock in the YES! Lock and that's when

Seth Rollins makes his way out to shocked reactions from the crowd as he cashes in his Money in the Bank briefcase and enters the current match. Bryan drops the hold and immediately goes after Seth with a Running Knee which Seth dodges catching Bryan with a PEDIGREE, the move of his mentor and the man Bryan beat in the opener of last year's Wrestlemania, Triple H. Seth quickly goes for the pin as Lesnar begins to get up. SETH ROLLINS HAS WON THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP. Seth quickly leaves the ring as Lesnar immediately attempts to grab him. Seth Rollins celebrates with the WWE Championship as the boos pour down on him.

I'll post the full roster page and current champions below but this diary was something I've been thinking about doing for a while. I'll get more into the rules of the Draft and such when I do the post-Mania Raw. I'm new to this whole making a diary thing so let me know what you think!

<strong>Monday, Week 1 April 2015</strong></p><p><strong>

Monday Night Raw [78%]</strong></p><p><strong>

Commentators: Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, Booker T</strong></p><p> </p><p>

- The new announce team intro the show and hype up the WWE draft before Vince McMahon's music hits and he struts down to the ring with a mixture of cheers and boos. Vince asks the crowd if they're ready for the Draft before mentioning that due to events at Wrestlemania, The Authority are no longer in power and he has taken the reigns for this week. "But I can't run these shows every week, each brand will need it's own GM and I think it's only fair that I announce Raw's GM right now!" There is murmuring from the crowd before

</p><div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="113" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/Z_dQKo_EV0c?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="Sting Entrance Video"></iframe></div></div> hits and Sting walks out to a huge pop from the crowd.<p> </p><p>

Sting gets in the ring and thanks everyone in the audience before thanking Vince for giving him the opportunity to make Raw into the type of show the fans deserve. Before he can say much more Seth Rollin's music hits and the new WWE World champion comes out on stage with Stephanie McMahon and J&J Security by his side. Seth mockingly congratulates Sting before letting him know that The Authority always finds a way to come out on top. "Just as I came out on top last night in the main event of Wrestlemania!" Rollins holds up his championship as Stephanie takes the mic and call Sting "pathetic" and tells him that she'll be waiting for him to fail.</p><p> </p><p>

Before much more can be said, Steph is interrupted by Brock Lesnar, who runs out from backstage and begins pummeling Seth Rollins. J&J attempt to stop him but are easily thrown off the stage as Brock goes after Seth, getting him up for the F5 before Seth worms his way out of it and runs towards the ring. Paul Heyman comes out and attempts to hold Brock at bay before Vince McMahon yells out "enough! I'm running the show tonight, dammit! Brock, you want a shot at Seth Rollins? Well you got it." The crowd cheers before Vince continues "unfortunately, Rollins already has a tag team match tonight against Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. What I'm thinking is, Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the first live Smackdown!"</p><p> </p><p>

Brock seems happy enough with that and proceeds to go into the back before Sting speaks up, "well, since this is the WWE Draft and I am the new Raw general manager, I might as well make my first pick. I wasn't intending to take them at all but after last night I need to keep my eye on them." Sting looks over to Seth, who is standing by the commentators, still not sure if Lesnar is really gone. "With Raw's first pick, I take WWE Champion Seth Rollins!" Rollins is the first pick in the WWE Draft! Rollins and Sting stare each other down.</p><p> </p><p>

Vince says that sadly, the Smackdown GM could not make it tonight but that they will be here Friday for the first live Smackdown! Vince mentions that he has been given their first pick and with Smackdown's first pick they have chosen, WWE United States champion, John Cena! Cena is going to Smackdown! [92%]</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Tyson Kidd & Cesaro (w/ Natalya) vs Los Matadores (w/ El Torito)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The announcers are still talking about Cena going to Smackdown when the match begins this is all Kidd and Cesaro here as, save for a few punches in the beginning by Diego, the Matadores get nothing. The match ends pretty quick with a Neutralizer on Fernando to give Kidd & Cesaro a win. [70%]</p><p> </p><p>

- Bray Wyatt comes on the Titantron and says that he must reclaim what he has lost. "Regardless of where I go, everyone there will learn to fear the name of Bray Wyatt." [83%]</p><p> </p><p>

- More picks are made as Raw selects Intercontinental champion, Roman Reigns and Smackdown takes the leader of the Yes! Movement, Daniel Bryan!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>AJ Lee vs Brie Bella</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Both Paige and Nikki Bella are out for their respective allies in this match. Brie gets in some solid offense and Brie mode seems to be in complete effect before AJ Lee manages to stop her. Things get a little hairy when Brie completely misses the mark on a dropkick and it isn't long after that before AJ gets her in the Black Widow and makes her tap. A better match than you'd normally expect from Brie Bella with only one botch. [51%]</p><p> </p><p>

- The Miz is backstage bemoaning having to once again team up with Damien Mizdow after Mizdow humiliated him on the grandest stage of them all. "I'm a former Wrestlemania main eventer! You do not do that!" Miz says as he storms off. [64%]</p><p> </p><p>

- The picks keep on coming as Raw takes Randy Orton and Smackdown decides to go in a different direction and take WWE Diva's champion, Nikki Bella.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Miz and Damien Mizdow vs The Prime Time Players</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The Prime Time Players are back together and they take it to Miz and Mizdow tonight. The story of the match is less about the Players and more about the heat between Miz and Mizdow with Miz refusing to tag in his partner for much of the match. It isn't until desperation sets in and Miz is getting pummeled by Titus O'Neil that he tags in Mizdow to a great reaction from the crowd. Just as things are looking good for the team Miz tags himself back in but Mizdow is having none of it and immediately tag himself in. They argue and Mizdow runs right into Clash of the Titus allowing Prime Time Players to pick up the win. [67%]</p><p> </p><p>

- The Miz and Mizdow argue post-match about who is at fault before Miz shoves Mizdow, Mizdow returns the shove and Miz comes back with a punch and drops his double. Miz keeps tearing into him before getting up and leaving the ring shouting "I'm the Miz! You're nothing!" [57%]</p><p> </p><p>

- Seth Rollins and Stephanie McMahon are backstage with Corporate Kane. Kane mentions that he is teaming with Rollins tonight in the main event and he looks forward to taking apart Orton and Bryan. Rollins is more concerned with facing Lesnar on Friday and tells Kane to just make sure "you don't suck as much as usual out there" before leaving. Kane smiles and says that won't be a problem. [82%]</p><p> </p><p>

- More picks as Raw chooses the last member of the Shield, Dean Ambrose and Smackdown takes Bray Wyatt.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Roman Reigns vs Luke Harper</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bad News Barrett is on commentary bemoaning how he was forced into a situation where he was likely to lose his title and that Reigns is just the beneficiary of that situation. Reigns shows he's a bit more than that as he takes it as good as Harper gives. This is a straight up hoss battle as Harper and Reigns hit each other with stiff punches in hopes of dropping the other. Reigns eventually gets the upperhand with a Superman Punch and ends things here with a Spear. [66%]</p><p> </p><p>

- Dean Ambrose is backstage with Renee Young and asked how he feels about going to Raw. Dean says he's excited to be on the same brand as his brother Roman and that he looks forward to eventually challenging Seth Rollins for the world title. When asked how he feels about coming up short in the IC title ladder match that was won by Reigns, Ambrose says he would have liked to be the one holding the belt right now but that if he had to choose another person to win it would have been Reigns. [70%]</p><p> </p><p>

- In the next to last set of picks for the night Raw takes the newly returned, Sheamus while Smackdown chooses the WWE Tag Team Champions, Tyson Kidd & Cesaro.</p><p> </p><p>

- John Cena comes out with a Smackdown shirt on and says he is looking forward to making the blue brand the show to watch. He speaks about how Rusev put up a valiant+ effort but in the end America won out and he is the new United States championship. He admits that the belt has fallen from the heights that it once held but Cena intends to bring it back to those heights by starting the John Cena US Open Challenge. He said anyone could come out and try to take his championship from him. It isn't too long before

</p><div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="113" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/oZ6VlUpGedU?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="WWE:"></iframe></div></div> and Christian makes his WWE return to huge cheers.<p> </p><p>

<strong>WWE United States Championship: John Cena © vs Christian</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Christian shows that he hasn't lost a step in the ring and gets the advantage for the the early part of this match before Cena manages to rally back. Christian is able to get one over on him though as he slips out of the AA and lands the Killswitch for a close 2 count. The two continue to battle with each trading the advantage before Cena finally lands the AA and grabs the win. Cena goes to shake Christian's hand after the match but he just walks past. [78%]</p><p> </p><p>

- Lana and Rusev are backstage and Lana says Cena thinks he is better than Rusev because of one win but on Smackdown this Friday, Rusev will hold his own open challenge and take on anyone and everyone. Rusev then begins to shout "I WILL BREAK EVERYONE IN MY WAY THE UNITED STATES TITLE WILL BE MINE AGAIN AND I WILL MAKE JOHN CENA AND ALL THE CHILDREN WHO LOVE HIM CRY," before storming off. [61%]</p><p> </p><p>

- The final picks are in as Raw selects AJ Lee and Smackdown takes Dolph Ziggler</p><p> </p><p>

- Renee Young is backstage with Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan and asks the two how they feel about teaming up with their history. Bryan says that he and Orton have had their differences but can both agree on one thing, kicking Seth Rollin's ass. Bryan mentions that he was so close to winning back the WWE championship last night before Seth cost him and Bryan looks forward to pinning him tonight and making a case for another title shot. Orton says he already pinned Seth so he should be first in line and the two stare down before Renee eases the tension by mentioning that this will be the last time they team up with Orton going to Raw and Bryan to Smackdown. Bryan mentions looking forward to taking Smackdown to new heights and says he can't wait to become the face of that brand. Orton says he's glad he gets to stay on the same brand as Seth as he is looking forward to making his life a living hell. [83%]</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Seth Rollins and Kane vs Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Kane comes out in mask and "demon" outfit for the match and Rollins seems a little nervous. Rollins lets Kane have the first shot in this match once he sees Bryan starting out on the other side and the two former partners battle it out. Kane gets the upperhand due to his size but it isn't long before Bryan is sending him out and forcing Seth to tag in. Orton tags himself in before Bryan can do anything and immediately goes after Seth. Seth takes a pretty heavy beating from Orton before tagging in Kane who also get a pretty hefty ass whooping courtesy of the Viper. Rollins yells at Kane to "stop being a scrub" before Kane grabs him and throws him into the ring, that apparently counts as a tag and Bryan quickly tags in to deliver some kicks to the champion. Rollins avoids the running knee and goes to tag Kane back in but Kane refuses despite being the legal man. Rollins is distracted and ends up eating a knee from Bryan. Kane decides to come in after that but it isn't much longer before Orton is tagged in and Kane eats an RKO. Rollins is staggering to the back as Orton and Bryan celebrate their victory. [72%]</p>

Friday Night Smackdown [82%]

Commentators: Scott Stanford, JBL, Joey Styles

- The new commentary team of Smackdown introduces themselves and run down how special the night is going to be on this historic first live Friday Night Smackdown and we're starting off the show with a match!

The New Day (w/ Xavier Woods) vs The Usos

Neither team has been drafted yet but they're looking to prove why they deserve another shot at the tag titles tonight. This is a mostly friendly match-up between the two teams although Kofi can be heard talking some smack when he gets the edge on Jimmy. Big E comes in and goes to finish things off with an attempted Big Ending that Jimmy is suppose to slip out of. Instead, Big E loses his grip and Jimmy ends up falling onto him for a nearfall...awkward. Jimmy tags in his brother soon after and even a tag to Kofi can't seem to stop the roll Jey is on. That is until Xavier gets on the mat and starts arguing with the ref leading Kofi to lowblow Jey and roll him up for the victory. [62%]

- The New Day celebrate their win when Kofi decides to add insult to injury and continues to beat down on Jey. Jimmy gets in the ring to try and fend him off only for Big E and Xavier to get in on the action. The New Day take out both of the Usos and then begin to dance in celebration as the crowd boos. [54%]

- The commentary team runs down the draft rules again and makes sure to remind the viewers that Smackdown has first pick in each of the 6 rounds tonight.

As if on cue, Vince McMahon's music plays and out comes the Chairman himself. He asks the crowd what they thought of the first night of the draft on Raw saying he was surprised to see some of the picks made by each brand but especially the #1 pick made by new Raw GM, Sting. He invites the Stinger out and Sting says he chose Rollins because he can't trust whoever is running Smackdown to "keep him in line." Vince mentions that it's funny that he brought up the Smackdown GM because they are here tonight and Vince thinks it's someone that nobody is expecting. He lets the crowd chatter for a bit before the music hits and the crowd goes nuts.

Shane McMahon makes his way out while the crowd reaches a fever pitch for his return. He shimmies his way down to the ring and shakes hands with his dad before grabbing a mic. He says he's happy to be back where he belongs in the WWE and that he jumped at the chance to run Smackdown when given the opportunity. He says he wants to turn the brand into the flagship of the company. He tells Sting not to take it personally but he was kind of hoping he'd get to run against his sister since he'd love to wipe that smug look off her face. Regardless, Shane says he's looking forward to some good competition and the two shake hands while staring down.

Vince moves the conversation onto the next round in the draft and asks Shane who he is taking. Shane mentions that both he and Sting have taken most of the top names already and that he had to look a little deeper to find the talent he wanted. Shane mentions he wanted people who seemed misused before and that's why he's chosen a man who is simply out of this world, Stardust is Shane's pick!

Sting says Shane might be looking to give the new guys a chance and he certainly isn't against that but he wants someone with proven commodity and that's why, even though he doesn't really care for him, Sting chooses The Miz! The crowd give a smattering of boos to the mere mention of Miz before Vince mentions that you can expect more picks throughout the night and the three men leave the ring. [86%]

Rusev (w/ Lana) vs Jack Swagger

Rusev makes his way out for his open challenge with Lana stating that they made sure anyone who wanted to challenge Rusev could do so. Rusev shouts that they "MADE A FLYER" and soon enough we get the answer to the challenge to a smattering of cheers as once again Jack Swagger is going to attempt to take out Rusev. It proves to be another failed attempt for Jack as Rusev makes short work of him before locking him in the Accolade for the victory. [47%]

- Rusev celebrates his win shouting that he is "BETTER THAN CENA" before the man himself makes his way out. Cena says that challenge was a joke and Cena never said Rusev couldn't challenge him for the US title. "Anytime, anywhere you name the place and I'll be ready because that is what MY open challenge is all about!" Lana says there will be a time but it won't be now as she and Rusev walk up the ramp and Cena poses with the belt for the fans. [78%]

- The draft continues as Smackdown takes "The Demon" Kane and Raw picks the, newly returned, Christian.

AJ Lee and Paige vs The Bella Twins

It's a Wrestlemania rematch as AJ Lee and Paige take on the Bellas. The match starts off poorly as Nikki botches a clothsline (yep) to Paige but from there things manage to turn into a decent match-up. The story of the match is the lengths the Bellas will go to to not lose twice to these "nobodies." With Nikki targeting Paige's right leg to keep her from locking in the PTO. AJ however manages to keep on both of the Bellas even coming close to winning the whole thing when she locks in the Black Widow on Brie but Nikki breaks up the submission. Nikki eventually wears AJ down and just as AJ is looking to pin Paige she's taken off the apron by Brie. AJ fights off Nikki but doesn't see that Paige has gotten back onto the apron and continues to fight Nikki before getting rolled up by her and giving the Bellas the win. [54%]

- Paul Heyman backstage and he says tonight his client, Brock Lesnar, will personally take Seth Rollins to Suplex City and yet again become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. [80%]

- More picks made for the draft as Smackdown takes Ryback and Raw drafts the tag team of The Usos.

- Stardust says he is glad to be in the "wondrous cosmosphere of Smackdown" and he looks forward to ending the "inferior Dust" tonight. "They say all that sparkles is gold but nothing shines brighter than a star!" [68%]

Stardust vs Golddust

The brothers are tied 1-1 in their matches so it looks like this might be the feud ender even if they get traded to the same brand. The two really go all out for this match with neither wanting to give the other the edge. Things start to turn in Golddust's favor however when he hits a Bionic Elbow on Stardust and follows it up with an old favorite, Curtain Call. It only ends up being a nearfall however as Stardust retaliates with an Alabama Slam and this inspires the "Cody" chants to start up. Stardust is taken aback allowing Golddust to briefly take advantage before he falls prey to the Dark Matter allowing Stardust to pick up the decisive victory. [75%]

- Tom Phillips is backstage with Seth Rollins and Tom fumbles with his question which immediately leads to Rollins grabbing the mic away from him. Rollins says he isn't afraid of Lesnar because "what Lesnar has in strength, I have in cunning and he's going to learn it takes a lot more than just rage to be world champ." [59%]

- More draft picks as Smackdown takes Rusev and Lana and Raw goes with Paige.

Dean Ambrose vs Dolph Ziggler

Two former challengers for the IC title looking to climb their way back. This is also something of a "last chance" match as the two competitors will be on different brands. Ambrose takes the advantage early after a failed elbow from the top rope by Ziggler. Eventually, Ziggler lands a Superkick and things start to go in his favor before a rebound clothsline and a Dirty Deeds does him in. [52%]

- We briefly see Stephanie McMahon backstage talking with Paul Heyman in an office before she notices the camera and closes the door. [79%]

- More picks as Natalya goes to Smackdown and Bad News Barrett ends up on Raw.

Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus

Another last chance match for these two rivals as Bryan and Sheamus set up to do battle. The announcers mention that Sheamus humiliated Bryan at Wrestlemania 28 and Bryan never got his revenge but that now Bryan is one of the biggest stars in the company while Sheamus has struggled to stay relevant. Sheamus comes out of the gate hot taking it to Bryan with some hard punches. Bryan replies with kicks to the legs of the big man. The two continue to trade momentum back and forth for a good while before Bryan hits Sheamus with a suicide dive and ends things in the ring with a running knee. [81%]

- Post match as Bryan celebrates Bray Wyatt appears and hits him with Sister Abigail. Wyatt poses over the fallen Bryan and laughs. [80%]

- The final televised picks are made for the draft as Smackdown takes The Big Show and Raw picks Damien Mizdow.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins © vs Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman)

The crowd is ready for this match as Lesnar immediately levels Rollins with a suplex and does not let up on his much smaller opponent. Seth gets in a few licks here and there, at one point actually dropping Lesnar with a knee from the top rope, but it's clear that Lesnar is possessed tonight. Rollins rolls to the outside but Lesnar is on him and drives him through the barricade at ringside. The Beast doesn't wish to win by count out however and attempts to drag Rollins into the ring before J&J Security come and intervene. Lesnar F5s Mercury through the announcer's table and takes Noble inside to F5 him in the ring. Meanwhile, Heyman helps Rollins to his feet and guides him out of the ringside area. Lesnar stares in disbelief before the ref rings the bell and rules the match a count out in favor of Brock. [84%]

- Brock is having none of this and rushes to Rollins and Heyman. Rollins sees the Conqueror coming and pushes Heyman into his way and gets the hell out of there. Heyman begs with Brock but the Beast simply leads him by the throat back to the ring, tossing him over the barricade on the way back. Brock takes him into the ring and F5s his former advocate. Lesnar doesn't seem satisfied with just that though and grabs the ref and F5s him too. Lesnar revels in the carnage as the announcers are at a loss for words about what has happened. [78%]

Rollins makes his way out and immediately brags about retaining his title against Brock Lesnar last Friday night on Smackdown. "I beat the Beast just like I said I would by being smart and being better. Unlike Brock, I don't throw a hissy fit when I don't get my way, I go out there and I prove that I'm the best."</p><p> </p><p> Rollins is interrupted by Randy Orton, who comes out to a sizeable pop from the crowd before he runs down Rollins. "You say you go out and prove you're the best but what I saw Friday was a guy who needed help from everyone who was willing to give it, even Paul Heyman had to come to your rescue! But hey, that's fine Seth, I can kind of respect you weaseling your way out of fighting Brock because it means that I get to crush you instead!"</p><p> </p><p> Seth immediately denies knowing anything about what Heyman was up to before mentioning that Orton's win "means nothing" because he was not champion at the time. "Either way you look at it Randy, I'm the champ and you're just the sore loser who got one over on the guy busy planning out his destiny. I'm the guy who took your place in The Authority and now, I'm the guy who's taken your place as champion."</p><p> </p><p> Sting makes his way out and mentions that Randy does have a point, he beat Seth clean at Wrestlemania but that was before Seth became champion. "Still, Randy deserves a shot which is why he'll be in tonight's main event against someone else who has a reason to want your title, Seth, DEAN AMBROSE!" The crowd pops for Ambrose as Seth rages in the ring. [85%]</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Adam Rose vs Fandango</strong></p><p> </p><p> Both men are looking to prove themselves after steep fall offs from when they debuted. Rose comes out with his Rosebuds and generally seems to be enjoying himself again while Fandango comes out with his </p><div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="113" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/PG-GbNkvx18?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="WWE:"></iframe></div></div>The announcers suggest that both men are returning to what found them success in hopes of recreating that. While that may be the case it is Fandango who finds success tonight as he gets a roll-up and holds on to the tights to secure himself the win. Fandango dances his way up the ramp and the Rosebuds comfort their fallen leader. [53%]<p> </p><p> - Renee Young is backstage with AJ Lee and asks her about the relationship between her and Paige currently. AJ says she has no idea what is going on with Paige and has not heard from her since their tag match on Friday. She says she is hoping to be able to reach out to her friend tonight. [69%]</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Paige vs Layla</strong></p><p> </p><p> Paige and Layla surprise here with a much better match than the crowd was expecting. Paige seems to be working a little rougher in this match than usual and seems to be trying to prove herself after the loss to the Bellas last Friday. Layla attempts to rally a comeback after managing to hook the bodyscissors onto Paige. It's not enough however and Paige eventually locks in the PTO for the victory. Post-match, AJ Lee makes her way down to congratulate Paige but she leaves the ring without even acknowledging her. [54%]</p><p> </p><p> - The New Day make their way out doing their usual skipping and clapping as the crowd rains boos on them. As they make it into the ring the trio grab mics and Kofi begins by explaining that they "layethed the Smackdown" on the Usos to make a point. "We're not jokes, do we look funny to you?" The three look over each other while shaking their heads and concluding "no, no we do not." Xavier is quick to point out that no one took them seriously "so we went out there and made you take us seriously. We're the greatest tag team since Lebron and Dwayne Wade, since Kobe and Shaq." "Since peanut butter met jelly!" Big E interjects, before the other two stare back at him. "And we're gonna continue being the best because...NEW. DAY. ROCKS." The trio repeat that phrase before being interrupted by Jimmy Uso's entrance music. [61%]</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Kofi Kingston vs Jimmy Uso</strong></p><p> </p><p> Jimmy is out on his own tonight as his brother is still recuperating after the New Day's assault on Friday and that proves to be the big problem as Xavier and Big E constantly beat on Jimmy each time he is tossed outside. Jimmy attempts to fight back after a dive to the outside takes out Big E and Xavier (despite not even hitting Big E) and it looks like the lone Uso might score an upset before Kofi surprises him with Trouble in Paradise and nabs the win. The New Day celebrate the win by dancing over Jimmy. [61%]</p><p> </p><p> - It's time for Miz TV and our host promises a huge guest tonight but first he has to mention his former double, Damien Mizdow. Miz says that he's been unhappy with the man's performance for sometime and throwing him out of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal was the last straw. "When I met Damien SANdow, he was nothing more than a struggling wrestler trying to make a name for himself. I saved him from obscurity and made him into what he is today and now he wants to go and break out on his own using MY NAME. He wants to get rich off of the name that has earned me numerous big time Hollywood roles? I don't think so. So, I hope you liked our little tag match last Monday because Damien Mizdow isn't stepping foot in this ring ever again!"</p><p> </p><p> Miz seems proud in his declaration until Mizdow comes out from the crowd and lays into Miz. The crowd goes wild as the two brawl with Mizdow eventually hitting Miz with the Skull Crushing Finale and standing over him doing Miz's poses. [46%]</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Bad News Barrett vs Golddust</strong></p><p> </p><p> Goldie is trying to wash off losing to his brother on Friday but Barrett has something to prove tonight as he takes it to Golddust early in the match getting a spinebuster on the veteran but it isn't enough. Golddust rallies back with a bionic elbow and eventually lands Final Cut for a 2-count. Barrett regains focus and capitalizes by ducking under a clothline attempt from Golddust and landing the Bull Hammer for the win. [68%]</p><p> </p><p> - Post-match, Barrett grabs the mic and says that he should still be standing here as the Intercontinental champion but he was placed in a situation where he was almost guaranteed to lose. "Congrats to Roman Reigns for stealing the title from me, but I'm afraid I've got some BAD NEWS for you. As the former champion, I'm entitled to my rematch and I want it at Extreme Rules! Let's see how tough your face is when it's being caved in by my elbow." </p><p> </p><p> Roman Reigns makes his way out to a mixed reception from the crowd and simply says "you're on," before making his way into the ring. The two compeititors stare each other down before Reigns goes for a Superman Punch. Barrett sees it coming and rolls out of the ring shouting, "not this time, mate" as he makes his way up the ramp. [73%]</p><p> </p><p> - Renee Young is backstage with Randy Orton and asks him about his match with Ambrose tonight. "You know, I like Dean, he's like me a little off the beaten path, a little screw loose and just like me, he'd love nothing more than to rip Seth Rollins limb from limb. The difference is Dean doesn't have what it takes to beat me. When was the last time that guy even won a match that meant anything? He's too inside his own head and that's gonna be his downfall tonight." [77%]</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Sheamus vs Mark Henry</strong></p><p> </p><p> Henry has claimed that "renovations are finished on the Hall of Pain" and that he is back into form but it is Sheamus who dominates much of this match as he proves to be quicker than the aging Henry. Still, "The World's Strongest Man" still lives up to his moniker as he managed to bring Sheamus to the edge with a World's Strongest Splash before Sheamus comes back and ends it with a Brogue Kick. [59%]</p><p> </p><p> - Dean Ambrose is making his way out for his match when he runs into Christian. The two size each other up before Christian pats him on the shoulder and tells him "good luck." Dean thanks him and walks away with Christian still looking in Dean's direction. [72%]</p><p> </p><p> <strong>#1 Contender's Match: Dean Ambrose vs Randy Orton</strong></p><p> </p><p> Seth Rollins is on commentary for this one as Ambrose and Orton spend much of the early going vying for an edge over the other. Ambrose eventually gains the lead when he nails a missile dropkick on Orton. "The Lunatic Fringe" remains in control until Orton get a back bodydrop and manages to get some momentum going. Ambrose attempts to regain control with the rebound clothsline but Orton sees it coming and lands an RKO for a two count. Orton picks Dean back up and takes him to the top turnbuckle but that proves costly as Ambrose knocks Orton down and hits an Elbow Drop for two. Ambrose gets Orton up and goes for Dirty Deeds but Orton counters and manages to hit an inverted headlock backbreaker on Ambrose. One more RKO is all it takes for Orton to put away the Lunatic. [77%]</p><p> </p><p> - Rollins wastes no time coming into the ring and laying into Orton, the two brawl for a bit before Seth surprises Orton with an RKO of his own. Seth holds his championship over the fallen Orton as Raw goes off the air.
