I have decided to make start a second mod project have my first one bogged down. My first mod, Neverending Monday Night Wars is NOT dead by any means, just on hiatus.

 

 

This mod takes place in an alternate 2016 in January after TNA was bought by wealthy investors lead by Billy Corgan, giving TNA access to more money again. After gaining more money TNA signs talent defecting from several promotions. Will this be enough to bring TNA back from the brink of oblivion? The rest of the rosters will mostly be based on what they were like in January 2016 with the exceptions of what changes are made to the rosters with TNA making some new signings in the alternate late 2015. I am open to suggestions. Feel free to post here or PM me.

From the sound of it I'd go along with TNA doing all the things WWE/NXT have been doing recently, working with big indies, signing big name indie workers and why not doing an X World Cup (Cruiserweight Classic).

PWG, Smash, Progress and wXw would work well with TNA's X Division, maybe Lucha Libre Elite and DDT could bring in some interesting talent.

 

What I would be thinking is to have TNA have a small core roster under written contract (EC3, Lashley, Hardys) and then using their connections under an alliance to bring in a variaty of talent. It's how I would ideally run TNA on a cost cutting level, have your key main talent and then bring in the variaty when you do tapings.

All things I will consider. I also have it so Billy Corgan is the owner of TNA. Dixie Carter is set as "left the business". Billy is backed by a group of off screen investors so TNA has money again.

For what i think on this mod Ryback could be next Golberg but on TNA that would be intresting becouse he is really not in good terms with WWE so TNA Should give a chance and i would really like to see Zack Sabre J.r he is really promising Indy wresler so these would be New era Wreslers for TNA mod of course there plenty more indies talent to consider and few ex WWE wreslers who should be in this mod of course not to many we dont wanna WCW V2 <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I'd think actually rather than signing worker, you keep the core roster, and a healthy sum (say $5M). There's a TON of indy talent out there, but the challenge is that you have to get them up to the level that they can draw... or do you go the high priced route? You pick up guys like Cody Rhodes and Ryback, and then start bidding on any contract that comes available?

I am going to do that with Ryback and Cody Rhodes.</p>

That sounds tough but I'm glad to hear you're still at it. Indeed, events seem to have vindicated your predictions - although not with the best result! Maybe you could take advantage of the delay to start the mod in December 2016 with a different outcome to Corgan's October lawsuit?
