A knock can be heard on Mr. McMinister's door.

"Enter."

"James."

"Quartermainne! How you goin, mate?"

"Quite well, actually. I was doing some research on our company. Last year was one of the best years in our history. We finally broke a million in the bank!"

"Excellent! We're riding a good wave of momentum Sean. With this new year on the horizon, who's stopping us from overtaking those arrogant, corporate, b*stards at RAW?"

"Calm down James, they still have a lot more star power than us. McKenzie, Banks, Standish, Shark and Apocalypse are our main guys and they don't even have half the drawing power Swoop, Goode, Steele, Lox, and Cap do. Besides mate, we don't even have a broadcasting deal."

"Well why can't we just get one?"

"You like that one mil in the bank right?"

"Love it!!"

"The only network that's willing to even consider giving us a deal is the Bloke Network and they only offer us a graveyard spot, if we took that deal we'd lose twice as much as we make and would be in the literal graveyard spot by the end of the year."

"So there's nothing we can do?"

"Actually that's what I wanted to talk to you about. There is a way for us to get some exposure and hang onto our cash."

"Lay it on me, mate"

"I emailed the Bloke Network back, and while it would be a bad move to take up a TV deal with them, we can get them to air our events on TV, it would slowly but surely gain us mainstream attention, and by my calculations, would be a small, but still a profit."

"I would prefer if it was PPV because that is where all our marquee matches take place, but if you think it's a good idea, you have my seal of approval."

"True blue, mate! I'll tag you in the email so if we get a response, you can read it as well."

"Thank you Sean, I don't know what this company would do without you."

The next morning the Bloke Network emailed back and later that day a big story broke on the company's main website.

I had done it. I couldn't believe I had done it. I got us the deal. James was extremely pleased and the whole roster was called to an important meeting to talk about it. Morale was up more than ever, and this was the first step in the right direction. This was the first step in gaining mainstream awareness. I knew it was just a matter of time before our fanbase grew and we were on the road to overtaking RAW. I took a minute to compose myself, then set my eye back on what was important. We have the deal, now let's not blow it. Let's put on the best shows of our god damn lives! I knew we had a long, LONG way to go. But there was a new fire lit in me. Something I had never felt before. I sat down at my office and took a look over the best guys on our roster.

Top Blokes

http://i.imgur.com/S94xxM5.jpg

Nathan McKenzie

Good ol' Nate. Been with us for almost 9 years, and each year we make sure to let him know how much he means to us, because he is our most valuable asset in the company, and RAW knows it.

It's just a matter of time before they come calling for him, so we need to make sure he knows how much we care about him and how much attention we want to gather him.

http://i.imgur.com/p4utPSd.jpg

Spiffy Stan Standish

I admire this mate for multiple reasons, but probably the most resounding one is how good of a jackass he is on camera, but is genuinely one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet in this business.

Like Nate, he's been with us for almost 9 years and shows the true definition of loyalty.

He's a great worker and if I keep on what I'm doing with him, it wouldn't surprise me if he became the biggest wrestler in Australia.

http://i.imgur.com/4Ok5iar.jpg

Alexander Banks

Alex is a great hand who I could easily see becoming a megastar. Great physique, great look, good between the ropes.

He's a mainstream star waiting to be made. He's a tad hesitant to some of the ideas we have for him, but he usually puts that aside and puts on a great performance.

http://i.imgur.com/AYsNpPt.jpg

Lone Shark

While I have nothing against the bloke personally, I cannot stand this gimmick. This is a character that belongs to ZEN. APW is not a fun, flashy, wacky characters promotion.

When compared to Nate, Spiff, and Alex, Shark is the piece of coal among the diamonds. The man behind the mask is an awesome person and I would be all for giving him a push if we got rid of the stupid shark

gimmick and took his mask off and made him more serious. But James likes the character and there is only so much I can do as booker, sadly.

http://i.imgur.com/KHK3UBs.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/TMAMiRc.jpg

The Apocalypse (Warmonger & Hatemonger)

If I'm being honest, these two can be jerks sometimes, but I can't deny the fact they are one of the best teams in APW history, and I've got a really interesting story planned for the two of them soon.

I'm excited to see how their career plays out, and their unique look is, without a doubt, a good attention drawer for the company.

http://i.imgur.com/ZeOjDuv.jpg

Christopher Gerard

While I wouldn't consider him a "Top Bloke", I felt the need to put him in here. There's something about him. He's got a good blue chipper look to him. He's decent enough to where we can build

and he draws great heat from the audience while barely saying 2 words. He's a very quiet guy. Maybe it's his silence that intrigues me, I'm not sure, but what I do know is if I can see a bit more dimension from him,

he's definitely got a bright future.
