PPV importance vs TV show

I remember in previous incarnations (Yeah, I'm being that guy) that there was a difference between PPV and TV shows. For example, a fight could headline a show, but wouldn't be great for PPV.

 

Now it seems that events are just handled in one way, with the medium you sell it to the fans being irrelevant.

 

I kind of miss the "Popularity" checker, to see if a fighter would be a main draw, midcard, could main event a TV show, etc.

 

I'm sure it can still be done, of course.

 

Now, my question: How can it be done? What are the stats/effects I'm looking for? How can I tell if a fighter would do well on Fight Night, but don't want him to headline the PPV?

 

I guess what I'm asking is how to change the draw of a fight, based on the medium ?
