CWT - Thunderstruck! (Thunderverse)

Hey guys!

 

I'm new to TEW with the 2016 version and i've been playing a few months and I've got to say I love it! I really enjoy the C-Verse, but lately i've really gotten into the Thunderverse, specifically I have been enjoying CWT (Championship Wrestling from Tennessee) a formerly big promotion which has fallen on hard times.

 

I've edited this game a little from the base for story reasons, bringing in Terry Thunder as my owner (basically the Hulk Hogan of this universe), and my player character (Hank Hernandez Jnr) as booker (and a colour commentator). I've largely kept the product the same (Key Traditional, Heavy Mainstream, and Medium Realism), as CWT was already being modernised in the base game. With Thunder I brought in a bit of money (since he's obviously quite rich) and a few new faces, but largely I want to begin working with my current roster and see who can really hack it or not. I start at regional, so going to cult should be my first priority (it's quite easy from what I've seen in the practice games I've played, even without any extra money or the Terry Thunder factor) but really i'm going to be trying to tell stories.

 

It's my first diary, so any advice and feedback is welcome. If people are interested in prediction contests tell me, the reason I haven't started with them is because I figure people aren't going to be familiar with all the Thunderverse characters right away, so I thought i'd give you all a chance to get to know them a bit (and hey, maybe it will get more people to try out this fantastic mod, check it out here)

 

Anyway, i'm going to largely be concentrating on posting shows, but I will put in little news posts when necessary. If there's anything you want to know about or hear please ask, i'd love to answer and any feedback

He is soon though brought down when Jesse grabs his leg from ringside whilst the referee is not looking, resulting in Fargo being able to take Bubba out with a DDT. He dominates for a long while, getting several near falls but Bubba won’t give in. With Terry Thunder at ringside rallying him, Bubba is able to gain momentum back by reversing an attempted piledriver into a near rollup, which he follows up with a big boot to Fargo’s head. They continue to go back and forth, until Bubba accidentally collides with the ref, knocking him out cold. Jesse takes advantage of this to rush Bubba to help Fargo double team him, but Terry Thunder is quickly up on the mat and uses a Fist of Thor to knock Jesse back out of the ring.
