Announcers:
Jason Azaria and TCW's Head of The Board Kyle Rhodes

The veteran announce pair kick off the first broadcast of TCW in 2016 with a run down of the card including the blockbuster six man tag team match before heading to the ring for the opening match of the broadcast.

Edd Stone
vs
Human Arsenal

A lively starter to the first TCW Total Wrestling episode of 2016 as the technical stylings of the Human Arsenal went up against the always unpredictable Edd Stone. Stone took the early advantage, using his speed to hit fast and keep Arsenal on the ground however it would be Stone's eccentric Edd-Fu that would be the downfall of him in the match.

Turning his back on the Human Arsenal, Stone would soon be subject to a range of suplexes and throws before Arsenal grabbed the win with a back suplex into a kneebar combination - Stone tapping almost as soon as the kneebar was applied.

Human Arsenal (72) defeated Edd Stone (63) via Back Suplex/Kneebar combo in 9:15.

Bryan Vessey
vs
Elliot Thomas

A far less competitive contest than the opening bout as Bryan Vessey continued his campaign to show the wrestling world that he was still "The Best Wrestler Alive". Elliot Thomas never even got a chance to mount any offense and mercifully, the near ritualistic slaughter of Thomas came to an end with a Vessey Plex at just over three and a half minutes.

Bryan Vessey (67) vs Elliot Thomas (42) via Vessey Plex in 3:31.

Rating: 57

In a change of pace from recent times, there was no after match assault from Vessey who stood stoic as the officials moved to help Elliot Thomas to the back and out of the warpath of the veteran Vessey. A sense of calm waved over the Elder Statesman of TCW, a sense of calm interrupted by the opening guitar riff of Fu Manchu's Evil Eye and the subsequent arrival of Sammy Bach - Vessey's current target.

Soaking in the crowd reaction, Sammy stood armed with a microphone and waited until the music died down before speaking.

SB:
"What, no hug Bryan? It's been three months since you couldn't take being beat and tried to end my career. Three months since you started this weird quest to prove you still belong - Bryan, trust me. There are far better ways to prove that than by dumping me on my head.

Ever since Destructive Energy last year, I've been trying to get some revenge. Doctors told me I couldn't. The matchmakers told me I couldn't. I'm tired of waiting.

At Malice in Wonderland, it's going to be me against you Bryan.

And this time, it's not going to be me on my back. It's going to be you feeling the Adrenaline Rush and ending up Bach on Your Back!"

Dropping the mic, the crowd go insane for Bach's threat whilst Bryan Vessey lookes on. Unwavering. Unanswering. Starting a hole through the spot where Sammy Bach once stood.

Jay Chord & Jeremie Courtney
vs
Mighty Mo & Giant Tana

The ghosts of Jay Chord's past and present united to haunt him - Chord tagging with his personal assistant Jeremie Courtney to face the happy go lucky tandem of Mighty Mo and Giant Tana.

Throwing Courtney to Mighty Mo to start the match, Chord looked like he wanted no part of either man whilst encouraging Courtney to get the win from the safety of the ring apron and distracting Charles Hapstander at every cost.

A mistimed splash from Giant Tana saw Hapstander knocked down, the accident giving Jay Chord the opportunity he needed to grab a chair from ringside and make his way into the ring....right into the path of the fun loving Samoan. Taking the chair from Chord with ease, Tana looked set to throw the chair out of the ring but instead Tana chose to bring the chair over the head of his own partner with a sickening thud - unbeknown to Tana & Chord Hapstander had recoved enough from the now questioned accident to see the chair shot and disqualified Jay Chord's team.

Mighty Mo (65) & Giant Tana (56) defeated Jay Chord (73) & Jeremie Courtney (34) via Suprisingly Competent Refereeing & DQ decision

Rating: 65

Instructing Jeremie and Tana to kick Mighty Mo from the ring, Chord leaned lazily against the ropes with a microphone in hand. Pushing himself off of the ropes, he gave a little wave to Mo as he was helped to the back by officials. Turning his sights to Tana, Chord acted surprised at Tana's help before laughing and shaking hands with the newest addition to Chord's group. Raising the microphone to his mouth, Chord began to speak before being showered in boos. Screaming at the crowd to shut up, Chord then started to say what was on his mind.

JC:
"Make the right choice. Do the right thing. It's a big thought, isn't it? What exactly is the right choice, the right thing?

For Tana The Mighty, the right choice happened to be taking a steel chair and wrapping it around the skull of the Total Fraud, Not So Mighty Mo.

We'll see each other at Malice Mo. You've got three weeks to prepare for the most humiliating loss of your life before I move on to bigger and better things.

For those uninformed, it's the 20th anniversary of TCW this year. 20 long years ago, this place opened its doors for the first time with a Chord at the very top of the pile. My old man ran this place.

It's only fitting that 20 years on the heir to the throne steps up. Mark my words you Total losers, I'll be standing in this ring at the end of 2016 as your World Heavyweight champion".

Danny Fonzarelli and Matt Hocking
vs
The Elite (Eddie Chandler and Nate Johnson)

Two teams vying for championship contention battled it out as the somewhat unorthodox pairing of Danny Fonzarelli and Matt Hocking teamed up to take on "Canada's Premier Tag Team" Eddie Chandler and Nate Johnson.

A shorter match than some would expect, the match moved at a blistering pace with each team looking to end it quickly to impress the TCW matchmakers. A rare mistake from The Elite saw the team of Fonzarelli and Hocking capitalise, knocking the illegal man Johnson to the outside where he was soon followed by a flying Matt Hocking - Hocking's dive taking out both men and allowing Fonzarelli to plant Chandler with the Retro Rocket for the win!

Danny Fonzarelli (61) and Matt Hocking (51) defeated The Elite (Chandler 66, Johnson 54) in 5:15 via Retro Rocket to Chandler

The camera pans backstage. Edd Stone isn't his high energy self. Vita is trying to get him into the mood, gyrating around and thrusting a bottle of something - alcoholic by the looks of things - in Edd's face.

http://i.imgur.com/xe5L91R.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/HpXDmrU.jpg

ES:
"Not tonight V. Not tonight. I've not won in three months. Freddy's not won in the same amount of time. We're supposed to be the best tag team to ever come out of Canada and we're falling down the pecking order. Old Man Fonzarelli and his barely cool idiot sidekick are above us. Those Elite idiots, above us. Hell, Mo and Tana are above us and Tana just waffled Mo with a chair."

Vita:
"It was pretty sick though. Drink?"

ES:
"That's not the point V. I've been here since 2007. And what do I have to show for it really?" Vita looks confused. Edd stares off into the distance. "Maybe....

Maybe it's time for Edd-Fu and the partying and everything else to go."

Shocked by Edd's last statement, Vita hurries to find something, anything that will lighten Edd's spirits. Procuring a lamp, she holds it out and shields her face from the inevitable breaking by superkick.

The breaking never comes. By the time Vita opens her eyes, Edd is long gone.

TCW Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender's Four Man Scramble

Bart Biggins vs Brent Hill vs Darryl Devine vs Freddy Huggins

Keeping the frantic pace of the last match going, each man walked into this match knowing that getting the win would put them directly in contention for Marc Speed's Intercontinental Championship.

Quickly pairing off, the seemingly eternal rivals Devine and Huggins squared off - neither man able to gain an advantage over the other leading to them both getting dumped to the outside by a well timed Brent Hill dropkick. Taking time to gloat, Hill soon found himself on the receiving end of a Biggins German Suplex that nearly scored the win for Biggins if not for the timely appearance of Freddy Huggins' boot - Freddy scrambling into the ring after the count of two and breaking up the count just in time.

Freddy's reward? After helping Brent clear the ring, a swift kick to the gut followed by a wicked Knee Trembler from the wily veteran. Teasing a dive, Hill stopped at the ropes shaking his head and laughing at suckering Huggins and Biggins into readying themselves for a dive…..only to turn around into the Devine Intervention from Darryl for another close fall.

The end of the match came soon after with Devine falling to the Huggins Kiss before Huggins found himself with no time to recovery before being planted with a Tiger Suplex by Bart Biggins, Biggins trapping Freddy’s arms and shoulders to the mat just long enough to get the all important three count.

Bart Biggins (61) defeated Darryl Devine (62), Freddy Huggins (67) and Brent Hill (65) in 10:20 when Bart Biggins defeated Freddy Huggins by pinfall with a Tiger Suplex.

Heading backstage instead of to the ring, a big burly chest is the first thing seen. A cough from what appears to be off screen can be heard and the camera pans out to see the American Buffalo and his handler Floyd Goldworthy standing. Goldworthy looks unimpressed. Buffalo looks mean.

http://i.imgur.com/xoGPmtg.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/rHmaYYQ.jpg

FG:
Ever since September, my client has been the most feared man in TCW. Ever since he put your Cornerstore Cowboy on the shelf and provided that Ricky Dale Johnson isn’t as tough as he claims he is, there has been no one able to defeat the American Buffalo. Many have tried but tonight, oh yes tonight, we get a Cowboy Fanboy in the ring.

I hope you’re watching tonight Ricky. I hope you’re watching tonight when Dazzling Dave Diamond is crushed by The Stampede. This is what awaits you at Malice in Wonderland Ricky.

And after the Buffalo has stomped you out, there will be no one left to stop The Stampede from crushing everyone in TCW.

And that, my friends, is a Goldworthy Guarantee!”

Signing off, the camera pans to the ring where Dazzling Dave Diamond is already in the ring. God rest his soul.

American Buffalo w/ Floyd Goldworthy
vs
Dazzling Dave Diamond

Not letting Buffalo overwhelm him early on, DDD attacked first and looked to get a quick upset victory.

The attempt failed.

Buffalo simply shrugged off any offense from DDD and toyed with his latest victim for just over 4 minutes before picking him up and planting him with The Stampede. Not content with the punishment dished out, Floyd instructed DDD be picked up once more for another Stampede - Buffalo all too willing to oblige.

The three count wasn’t really necessary however wrestling law dictated that Charles Hapstander count the pinfall.

American Buffalo (56) defeated Dazzling Dave Diamond (58) in 6:15 by pinfall with The Stampede.

Taken backstage again, this time the scene of Rocky Golden and Joshua Taylor sitting and preparing for the main event is seen.

http://i.imgur.com/mwPcvL2.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/F1bWLj0.jpg

Rocky is getting some last minute weights in, Joshua sitting with headphones on and meticulously going over his wrist tape. It’s a quiet place…

http://i.imgur.com/2A4y4mU.jpg

....quiet soon interrupted by the near explosion of Benny Benson into the room. The hyperactive underdog appeared to be out of breath as if he had been running all over the arena looking for his partners for the night. Rocky looks amused. Joshua looks annoyed.

BB:
“Finally, I’ve been looking all over for you guys! We gotta talk strategy, I’m thinking that if we start with Rocky since he can obviously overpower like everyone in the match - maybe not Ray he seems like he could be deceptively strong even if he is a referee - and then I’ll come in like a blue and blond Flash and they won’t know what’s hit them then Joshua can come in and do those sweet armbars that doe-”

Having heard enough, Joshua steps up and brushes past Benny - Benny’s rambling finally coming to an end as he looks at Joshua walking away with a mix of confusion and sadness on his face.

RG:
“Don’t worry about it Benny. He gets like that. It’s nothing personal. See you out there.”

Rocky walks off in the opposite direction. Benny regains his smile and bounces off in the same direction Joshua headed off in, high fiving random TCW staffers on his way.

Aaron Andrews, Troy Tornado & Wolf Hawkins
vs
Benny Benson, Joshua Taylor & Rocky Golden

The top feuds of TCW collide as Rocky Golden finally gets his chance to shut Aaron Andrew’s mouth whilst Wolf Hawkins continues the hunt with Joshua Taylor. Troy Tornado and Benny Benson were drafted in as partners - Tornado proving to be more popular amongst his partners than Benson as the early stages of the match saw Aaron and Troy highfiving and cracking jokes on the apron as Wolf set about meticulously tearing apart Benny Benson, every move delivered with Wolf staring straight at Joshua Taylor on the apron.

Tagging out to Troy as soon as Joshua tagged in, Wolf made it very clear that he would only fight Taylor on his terms. Keeping Troy grounded, Joshua almost snagged an early win with a bridging armbar but Aaron Andrews was the key difference, breaking up the submission then laughing at Taylor for “trying something so stupid on the greatest technical wrestler TCW has ever seen you goddamn nerd”.

Tagging in soon after, Andrews locked up with Taylor before immediately bailing stating that he’s not paid to wrestle losers. Continuing to run his mouth, Andrews failed to notice Taylor launching himself out of the ring with a suicide dive. Hitting the target, the match broke down at this point with both teams keeping the fight outside of the ring - the legal men only getting back into the ring when Ray Johnson’s count reached 8.

Keeping the ball in their court, the big man Rocky Golden finally was tagged in and set his sights squarely on Andrews. Stopping Andrews from reaching his corner, Golden started to have some fun with the outspoken champion - a bodyslam followed up by a flex pose then an elbow drop, a big boot followed by a look of “Is that all you’ve got champ?” on Golden’s face.

Looking to have the victory, Golden tagged out to Benny Benson and returned to the apron...only to be dragged off by Troy Tornado. Keeping a hold of the giant’s leg with all the force and might in the world, Troy not only stopped Rocky from helping Benny in the ring but stopped Rocky from helping Joshua Taylor as he found himself dragged off by Wolf and hit with the Full Moon Rising.

Back in the ring, Andrews showed the form that got him the TCW World Heavyweight Championship, hitting Benson with the Game Changer [bakatare Sliding Kick, name shamelessly stolen from Phantom Stranger] before grabbing the barely conscious form of Benson and planting him with the Ace of The World [Twisting Brainbuster] for the victory.

Aaron Andrews (74), Wolf Hawkins (89) and Troy Tornado (70) defeated Rocky Golden (84), Joshua Taylor (72) and Benny Benson (67) in 22:19 via Ace of The World.

Match Rating: 79

Not even taking a second for the action to rest, the daunting darkness and piano music of Eddie Peak hits. Team Andrews scramble. When the lights come back on, Eddie has Benny Benson up for the Peak of Perfection.

http://i.imgur.com/2A4y4mU.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/F1bWLj0.jpg

When Benny falls, it is Joshua’s turn. He tries to fight but succumbs to the Peak of Perfection.

http://i.imgur.com/mwPcvL2.jpg

Rocky Golden realises all too late what is happening as the rabid fury of The Hellfire Assassin is upon him. Raining punches down on the Golden Icon of TCW, Peak’s work is soon finished when, just like Benson & Taylor, Golden is hoisted up for the Peak of Perfection and brought crashing down. A sadistic smile appears on Eddie’s face as Team Andrews look on....

http://i.imgur.com/yZj9qUa.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/44ZTbzj.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/N8wWpoZ.jpg

...before Andrews himself steadily gets into the ring. Offering a hand out to the Psychotic Demon, the audience is stunned into further silence as Peak accepts the handshake. Total Wrestling goes off the air with Andrews & Tornado celebrating as if they’d won the World Cup. Peak looks on amused. Wolf Hawkins is nowhere to be seen.

OOC Note

Hi there.

I understand starting a diary in media res without backstory or even a roster post may be a little unorthodox but *shrug*.

It's something I've toyed with for a while because I find the first show to be the first big hurdle to overcome writing and a lot of the stuff I write gets as far as the first show predictions and end up fading away.

So yeah.

I'll add the important stuff a little down the line. Blake Trask done a neat thing in their 8RoW TCW diary where they didn't do a roster post until like the first month was out of the way and any & all roster signings were out of the way. Probably going to go down that road.

My other hope with the first show going up first is that it allows people to see what is in store immediately.

Any comments, feel free to leave below. I'm going to bed.

Andrews starts the talking, calling himself The Face of TCW whilst holding the TCW World Heavyweight championship high. He goes on to introduce his best friend in all of wrestling, the man who drove Tommy Cornell out of TCW, the blueprint for which all of TCW's success was built upon and the man who will end Joshua Taylor's TCW career - Wolf Hawkins! Wolf looks noticeably indifferent at the introduction, staring out into the crowd and not responding to Andrews. Andrews goes on to introduce his mentor, the man who showed him the ropes in TCW and made him the champion he is today - "Starmaker" Troy Tornado! In a complete opposite from Wolf, Troy plays it up. Waving to the crowd, taking an overly exaggerated bow etc. And last - but certainly not least - the formerly unhinged monster of TCW. The Syndicate tried to tame him. Floyd Goldworthy tried to shackle him. But The One True Mastermind of TCW gave him a focus and a means to the end - said by Andrews with the smuggest of grins on his face. Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for the newly dubbed “Hellfire King" Edward Peak! Peak for his part smiles that oh so unsettling smile and nods along with Andrews' words.</p><p> </p><p> Stating that this collective is the great group TCW has ever seen, Andrews goes to state the group's main goals before the giant white hand of The Hellfire King clamps down on his shoulder. Handing over the microphone with no arguments, Eddie simply states that this is the truest form of The Hellfire Club and that TCW is theirs for the taking until he is cut off by a somewhat unlikely source....</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/2A4y4mU.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> ....as Benny Benson appears at the entrance way. Keeping it short and to the point, Benny states what Eddie done last week was like serious uncool man but he gets it. He's just bowing to his new master, except this master is nothing like the last man who tamed the wildman. Stating that Andrews is nothing but a coward, Benny will show Andrews that TCW won't bow down to Andrews or any of his goons....and states it will start tonight as Benny lays down the challenge to face Eddie in our main event of the night! Andrews goes to answer, Eddie glares a hole through him and tells Benny that he is on and that glorious violence will paint the halls of Illinois State Park red with Benson’s blood.</p><p> </p><p> Benny looks as if he immediately regrets his act of bravery.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Hellfire Club Reveal, Angle Rating:76, Benson’s Immediate Regret, Angle Rating: 61</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43749" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center"><span>http://i.imgur.com/KT6Rpcg.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/RrWfRLh.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/t6M72TV.png</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/TEnqQ07.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/jP1aw82.jpg</span><p> </p><p> <strong>The New Wave</strong> vs <strong>The Good Ol’ Boys</strong></p><p> </p><p> Not much to write home about as Guide and Scout showed why they are considered one of the top tag teams in the world. <p>These first two shows were extremely entertaining to read, MHero. TCW really suits you. I seriously marked out to Human Arsenal and Brent Hill's exchange and everything about the Bach/Vessey feud looks great. Also, Hellfire Club sound and feel awesome.</p><p> </p><p>

I look forward to see what else Earth-2 MHero has in store. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Characters are different and even though I'm still constantly rereading both PhantomStranger's TCW epic and Zeel1's criminally underrated TCW diaries, it's not like the characters have fulled imprinted on me in the way that some SWF diaries have.</p><p> </p><p> The Hellfire Club Redux is my attempt at doing the name justice. Announcers: Jason Azaria and TCW's Head of The Board Kyle Rhodes

Barely getting time to introduce the audience to the show, Jason and Kyle are cut off as the pulsating beat of Benny Benson's infectiously catchy entrance music takes over the Theatre of Dreams.

Bouncing down The Total Causeway, the exuberant fan favourite makes his way down to the ring for what many thought would be the main event of the evening.

A lull takes over the venue for tonight's episode of Total Wrestling before the signature howl overtakes and Wolf Hawkins makes his way to the ring - keen eyes noting that Wolf had no other members of The Hellfire Club by his side.

Benny Benson vs Wolf Hawkins

A back and forth encounter which saw Benson continue to hold his own against The Hellfire Club. Wolf's expertise won out in the end however, ducking under a Shockwave to Next Year and nailing Benny with a Full Moon Rising for the three count.

Wolf Hawkins defeated Benny Benson via pinfall.

Canadian Animals vs Devine Fortune

A tale of two teams, one with the weight of the expectation on their shoulders and the other struggling to break out in the Total Tag Team division. Similar to the last match, both teams went back and forth...

HpXDmrU.jpg

...until Vita made her presence known. Still on a mission to bring Edd Stone to "reality", Vita distracted Chance Fortune. Coached on by his tag partner Freddy Huggins, flashes of the old Edd came through as he readied himself to take the cheap advantage. Taking too long to strike however as Darryl Devine managed to bring his far more impressionable partner away from Vita's senses. A quick Stroke of Luck later and Devine Fortune stood tall as the winners of the match, Edd Stone once again finding himself staring up at the lights.

Devine Fortune defeated Canadian Animals via pinfall.

Moving to just behind curtain to The Total Causeway, the Total Camera Crew caught up with the TCW International Champion Marc Speed.

XeSMiZL.jpg

The title slung over his shoulder, the so far undefeated champion motioned for the camera crew to come over. Holding up three fingers, he counted them down one by one whilst mouthing the words "Tap. Nap. Snap".

Making his way to the ring, Marc cut a confident figure as he waited for his opponent for the week and he didn't have to wait long as Everyone's Most Favourite Dude Matt Hocking burst out to accept the challenge.

Matt Hocking vs Marc Speed

Not impressed by the quality of his challenger, Speed never gave Hocking an inch and what was supposed to be a competitive match soon turned to a exhibition of what the TCW International champion was capable of. Ending the massacre quickly with a Cross Armbreaker, Speed never even waited for his hand to be raised in victory - grabbing his title and stomping his way up The Total Causeway as Charles Hapstander helped Matt Hocking to his feet.

Marc Speed defeated Matt Hocking by submission.

Rating: 53

As the commotion came to a close, the audience in attendance were met with Brent Hill leading two figures in hooded jumpers to the ring.

Waiting for absolute silence, Brent repeated what he had told his former partner last week. Months and months of hard studying and building connections finally pay off as he proudly presents the newest Wrestling Machines. At this, the two hooded figures discard the jumpers to allow the world to see their appearance.

Introducing themselves as Callum Nelson and Davis Wayne , the duo head to the corner as Brent explains he's set up an exhibition match to showcase just what his new charges are capable of.

Callum Nelson & Davis Wayne [The Wrestling Machines] vs Local Competitor #1 and #2 [brendan Idol & Roger Monteiro]

An impressive showing for the debutant Machines, they never really gave either member of the opposing team a chance to get a footing in the match. Ending the match with a combination running elbow smash/leg sweep maneuver, the new Machines stood tall and victorious in under 3 minutes.

Callum Nelson & Davis Wayne defeated Local Competitors via complete annihilation.

Rating: 53

The cameras headed to an unspecified room in the Theatre of Dreams that appears to have become the makeshift Canadian Animals meeting room where a rather one sided debate between Freddy Huggins and Edd Stone was taking place.

xe5L91R.jpg16onGCL.jpgTt9mnSA.jpgHpXDmrU.jpg

FH: "What the hell happened Edd? You had that dork, we should be walking out with the winner's purse and be in the clubs by now".

Staring off into the distance, Edd didn't seem to register Freddy's questions.

FH: "Edd? Eddy? Earth to Edward, what's going on ma..."

Cut off by Edd sighing - the very act startling both Laura and Vita - Freddy looked quizzical.

xe5L91R.jpg

ES: "What would winning like that get us Fred? We've been doing this for nearly 10 years now. The partying, winning with who we've got with us rather than what we've got inside of us. Ten years Fred."

Leaving the last statement hanging, Edd gets up and walks out of the Canadian Animals' HQ. The camera lingers long enough to hear all three remaining members of the group ask the same question.

Jay Chord, Jeremie Courtney & TANA vs Mighty Mo, Elliot Thomas & Flying Jimmy Foxx

The never ending war between Jay Chord and Mighty Mo rolled on for another week in trios action. The inexperience of Mo's trio as a team showed as Chord's trio cut the ring in half and kept Elliot Thomas in the hands of Jay whilst Jeremie and TANA ran interference. Failing the break down the Camp Chord teamwork, Mo could do very little but watch as Jay Chord crowned Elliot Thomas with the Cradle Piledriver to pick up the three count.

Staring a hole through Jay as he celebrated in the ring, Mo soon took his anger out on the overly celebratory Jeremie Courtney - the young personal assistant to Jay's lap of victory soon cut short by Mo planting him with a big time spinebuster....to the very visible non plussed reaction of Jay Chord.

Jay Chord, Jeremie Courtney & TANA defeated Mighty Mo, Elliot Thomas & Flying Jimmy Foxx by pinfall.

A short hype video played to showcase the Total Tag Team champions Killer Shark & Titan, collectively known as The Behemoths.

Brent Hill vs Human Arsenal

Promising a showcase much like the new Machines on his way to the ring, Hill's tune changed when his former partner hit the ring. Spending most of the opening period of the match on the outside, regret was written all over Brent's face.

Finally deciding to get in the ring, Brent soon went to work on deploying every cheap tactic in the book with eye pokes and eye rakes galore. An early attempt at the King of the Hill soon gave way to a period of Human Arsenal being in charge of the pace of the match. Growing worried, Brent signaled to the back and it wasn't long before his new charges made their way to the ring leaving Ray Johnson no choice but to call for a disqualification.

Human Arsenal defeated Brent Hill via DQ.

Giving no notice to the fact he had just lost the match via disqualification, Brent Hill directed Nelson & Wayne into picking apart his former friend. With no end to the attack in sight, it almost looked like The Human Arsenal was heading for serious injury until a blond haired figure rushed the ring.

MJvjmGt.jpg

Throwing both Nelson & Wayne from the ring, the mystery saviour stood between Brent Hill and the fallen body of The Human Arsenal. Choosing to fight on another day, Hill left the ring and made his way to the back with The New Machines in tow.

American Buffalo & Bryan Vessey vs Ricky Dale Johnson & Sammy Bach

The semi-main event of the evening saw two vicious feuds combine into one match. On one side, American Buffalo led by the scheming Floyd Goldworthy and the straight laced Bryan Vessey - who did not look pleased at Floyd's presence at ringside. On the other side, both RDJ and Sammy looked pleased to be teaming together. Refusing to face anyone other than Sammy, Bryan Vessey spent the longest part of the match at ringside and watching as the superior teamwork of RDJ and Bach overwhelmed the monstrous Buffalo.

Disgusted by what he was watching, Vessey eventually left the ring and headed towards the back - leaving a furious Floyd Goldworthy shouting after him and a disappointed Sammy Bach on the apron watching on as the Cornerstone Cowboy got a big win over his Malice in Wonderland opponent.

What was supposed to be a scheduled interview with Rocky Golden took place next. Starting off with Rocky beginning to talk about his Malice in Wonderland opponent Aaron Andrews, the Golden One was soon downed by a belt shot from The Total Mastermind himself.

A short brawl occurred that ended with a surprising face to Total Championship Wrestling arriving to give Andrews the upper hand as The Guru handed Andrews a steel chair that he used to down Rocky Golden. Turning to the cameras that captured the whole affair,

Andrews presented the world to the man behind the mind, his adviser - The Guru. The duo soon high tailed it as various staff members rushed to attend to Rocky.

Joshua Taylor vs Troy Tornado

The main event of the evening didn't disappoint as The Starmarker Troy Tornado took on a stoic Joshua Taylor in a contest that neither man could afford to lose. Taking the early advantage, Troy used every trick in his book to keep Taylor at length.

Fighting and clawing his way into the match, Taylor finally got on top after rushing Tornado and taking him down with a double leg takedown. Keeping his opponent on the ground, Taylor tweaked and pulled every limb he could find - the message intended for Wolf Hawkins being sent loud and clear with Tornado soon verbally submitting to the dreaded Leg Trap Butterfly Lock.

Joshua Taylor defeated Troy Tornado by verbal submission.

Rating: 71

Taylor's night wasn't over yet however as the Theatre lights flickered on and off heralding the incoming arrival of The Hellfire King. Steadying himself for a fight, Taylor's momentary lapse in concentration was all Tornado needed to connect with a thunderous Super Kick to Taylor.

True to form, Eddie Peak arrived and the final shot of Total Wrestling for another week as The Peak of Perfection being delivered to another of Eddie Peak's many foes.

Author's Note. And an explanation of sorts.

First off, voeltzwagon totally stole the idea to resurrect a diary from me. :p

Just over a year is a bit of a long time to go between writing shows for something. It wasn't really by intention and to be honest, this was dead until a conversation in the GDS Discord got me poking around the save again.

There is a very big reason for that and whilst I hate blaming things on this, I feel like I owe an explanation of sorts as to why there was such a delay.

Depression and mental health issues suck.

Like really suck.

I started this at what turned out to be the turning point of depression, anxiety and other mental health quirks taking over who I was. Long days and longer nights of having no energy to do anything or having the little voice in my head turning into a bigger and bigger monster that killed my desire to do pretty much anything because I wasn't good enough or thinking what I was writing wasn't worth reading. And that's just the light, fluffy kind of stuff compared to the other maelstrom of malicious thoughts that circled around.

I'm not exaggerating when I say it's taken about a year to get back to a position where my mental health is beginning to pick up. It's weird to put into words but it is what it is.

If you've made it this far, congrats. I (probably) won't go a year between shoes again and thank you for indulging me on this. I never used to think much on it but having been through (and still going through) mental health problems, things like this are important.

It's okay to not be okay sometimes.

However if you've ever been in a position where you think there isn't worth or value in anything, please speak to someone. A friend. A family member. A person with a dumb display pic on a message forum. People are there to listen.

MH...I mean...MHero out. More Total Wrestling to come in the following days.

Happy to see this back MHero! You really hit the nail on the head in your message there, mental illness really REALLY sucks. As someone who has had family members with crippling anxiety and as someone who has suffered from it before, it really really sucks and that's putting it lightly. I'm happy that you are getting better, because you really bring a light to this board that is sorely needed.
