Firstly I'd suggest for those of you who have never read it, it may be worth you reading A Mexican Nightmare which was my diary waaay back in 2011. This diary begins 6 years after the events of that diary (which ended abruptly due to writers block) so reading that will give you the background needed on what to expect and a small history of the town itself this is set in.

 

I will be using TEW to sim the matches but the story is from me and hopefully will be enjoyable to those who read it. This isn't your typical "booker" diary and is more story driven because that's what I find more entertaining. I will be adding a characters spot with pictures in this 1st post too so it is easier to keep up with who is who.

<p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>It's been almost 6 years...</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

It has been almost 6 years since we arrived in Pesadilla and a lot has changed in that time. We have seen the El Santo regime squashed, only for a bigger threat to take over in the form of Sagrado, Goddess and the street gang, Perros del Mal. It took 2 years, and the forming of a Triad known as Pesadilla Triada to once and for all rid this town of it's oppressive outlook.</p><p> </p><p>

Ludark Shaitan, La Mascara and Titanik left a year after the town finally got it's independence from Sagrado and Goddess. La Mascara keeps in touch but Ludark took our fight to heart and never really forgave our deceit. No one in the group has heard from her in almost 2 years.</p><p> </p><p>

Sexy Lady has changed a lot in this time too, she is now the towns Mayor, using a different name, Lady Shani, to go with her new found power. She runs the town fairly and passes laws based on votes rather than enforcing laws that benefit no one like the previous regimes had done.</p><p> </p><p>

So what of our little triad? Well that has all but disappeared now we're living in more peaceful times. I am now going by the La Autoridad name again and have my own little bit of "power" as the towns Police Chief. Extrano and Slash are 2 of my deputies. I no longer participate in the traditional wrestling shows and instead offer guidance to my protege, a young Luchador named El Soberano Jr. Talking of the wrestling shows, we now have a yearly tournament in which the winner takes home a large sum of money and is awarded the title "Champion of Pesadilla". This year marks the 3rd annual tournament and has seen 2 previous winners so far, Lady Shani and Angel de Oro who the crowds have taken a liking to. He is the current Champion of Pesadilla and despite the efforts of his brother (Niebla Roja) to undermine him, he has showed he is truly worthy of the title. </p><p> </p><p>

As for the previous regime of Sagrado, Goddess and Perros del Mal, no one has seen them since they were run out of town years ago. People "claim" every now and then that they have seen Sagrado lurking in shadows, hiding in alleys and he was even blamed for the murder of a street kid named Esteban (which later turned out to have been a dispute with another street kid gone to extremes) but to be honest, these days Sagrado is just a legend the citizens tell their children to make them behave.</p><p> </p><p>

Little did we realise, a new threat looms on the horizon. A new group of people intent on taking over the town from the underground. They call themselves La Secta Negra, but no one knows who leads them. This group are more evil than Perros del Mal ever were and have been starting to show themselves around town, recruiting to their cause.</p><p> </p><p>

So this is where our new story begins...</p>

You either get on board, or you get squashed because we are running shit round here.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> La Policia and Soberano Jr. come out to run La Secta Negra off, but find themselves on the end of a serious beatdown by the group consisting of Mephisto, Black Tauro & Sharlee Rockstar.</p></div><p></p><p></p>

<strong>Autoridad:</strong> So it looks like we've got a new threat on our hands, and judging from what went down last night, it's a very real and dangerous one. I think we're going to have to step things up a little around the town. If any of these 3 are seen then tell people to stay the hell away from them. Last thing we need is another Sagrado fiasco.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Extrano:</strong> I want to kick the living crap out of that Sharlee Rockstar! Sucker punched me when I wasn't ready. You tell Shani I want this motherf...</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Autoridad:</strong> Whoa, whoa. We're the law not Luchadors any more. We gotta protect the town from psychos like this before it gets out of hand. That means we kick their asses on the street and chuck them in a cell before their influence grows and not in a ring where people can start to get behind their cause.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Extrano:</strong> Fine by me. The minute those little bitches raise their heads out of what ever hole they are hiding in, I'm going to kick them straight off their shoulders! </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Slash:</strong> These 3 yahoos aren't running anything. They are puppets, and we need to find the puppet master. Although my money is on Sagrado being behind this, amassing a following and striking just when everything seems peaceful. This has his stink all over it.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Autoridad:</strong> I'm ruling nothing out. If it is Sagrado, well, we beat him once, we'll do it again.</p><p> </p><p>

Just as the conversation comes to an end, Lady Shani and Lluvia walk into the room.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Lluvia:</strong> Do you still have that weird girl in here from last night? You know, the self harmer?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Autoridad:</strong> Indeed we do. Why? She's not saying anything as we've been questioning her for hours on who put her up to gatecrashing the event. She is either very stupid, or completely loyal to this "mistress".</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Lluvia:</strong> We think we can probably get out of her what we need if you give us a few minutes with her. We want to see if she is connected in any way to those 3 thugs from last night.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Lady Shani:</strong> Remember, I wasn't always the mayor boys. I remember kicking Extranos ass on a number of occasions so I really don't need protecting from a little freak like that.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Autoridad:</strong> You're the mayor. You do what you need to do but she doesn't seem like the sort who plays nice with others so I've a feeling she's a lone wolf, in all of this.</p><p> </p><p>

2 hours pass as La Policia and myself go about our business. I send Extrano and Slash out to see what they can dig up on this new threat to our small town. Soberano comes by offering his help in finding anything he can about La Secta Negra too.</p><p> </p><p>

Finally, Lluvia and Lady Shani return from their "interrogation" of our unexpected guest from the previous evening.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Lady Shani:</strong> Well she is saying nothing. Keeps repeating "We will have our vengeance" to every question we asked her. I want her kept here, maybe whoever it is she is talking about will show themselves soon to get her out... and if they don't, then we have a long term guest.</p><p> </p><p>

As Lluvia and Shani leave, Shani turns back around to me...</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Lady Shani:</strong> Tell the boys, drinks tonight at the bar like old times. And bring along Soberano. It's about time we welcomed him into the inner circle properly.</p><p> </p><p>

Elsewhere in Pesadilla...</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Niebla Roja:</strong> You got what you deserved last night. Constantly stealing my spotlight, always have to be the centre of attention. You make me want to punch your head off your shoulders you worthless piece of...</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angel de Oro:</strong> Blah, blah, blah. Niebla Verde would have been a better name for you. Your jealousy is starting to become tiresome hermano. If you put half as much effort into training as you do complaining, you'd be as good as me.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Niebla Roja:</strong> As good as? Don't think for one minute that you are even in my league. A fluke title win does not make you the superior luchador. In fact, next week I'm challenging you to put up that title in a match against me. We'll see who is superior then little brother.</p><p> </p><p>

Both Angel de Oro and Niebla Roja submit their match request to Lady Shani who grants it for the main event of Sundays show.</p></div><p></p><p></p>
