darkfire
Didn't know where to post this, so I posted it here Who did the EWR graphics? Will you ever release the EWR source? Will you ever update EWR in your spare time?
Adam Ryland
1 - I don't even remember there being graphics in EWR. 2 - No, I don't have the code or the programming language anymore. 3 - No, see answer 2.
darkfire
I meant the loading screens, title and BGs. And why did you delete the code?
Adam Ryland
I have no idea who made the title screens, etc. I don't even remember having any. Whoever did it is probably someone in the credits screen (if there is one?). I didn't say I deleted the code, I said I don't have it anymore. It's on one of my old PCs, in a storage locker somewhere. darkfire
cuz EWR is soo great. If Adam did make it an open source, it would be a great learning tool to be used by people, and an amazing stepping stone for new sims.
TC Dale
I would say that learn Visual Basic for yourself, and create your own. That is only way to do it. Asking for someone else's hard work is not the way to do it. Mr. Ryland is right in keeping the code for himself. He created and worked on it for so many years. Why share it? I believe that if people wanted a old style EWR kind of game, that they should attempt it themselves. That way it is yours and yours alone. And it would be your vision, not a retooling of someone else's vision.
