WCW Nitro May Week 1

<img src='

WCW Nitro is on the air with Tenay, Schiavone, and Heenan live from NY Levien Gymnasium.

Ric Flair comes down to open the show.

Ric Flair: “Boy isn’t it great to be back on Nitro, Wooo! I am Ric Flair, the 16 time World Champion. I’m here tonight to tell you I will win it again. Booker T maybe a good kid and all but he doesn’t hold a candle to the Nature Boy. I have never had an injury that could keep me down. We all know Booker T is hurt and if you can’t defend the gold. So it’s time to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion, Me!”

Sting comes out and walks down to the ring.

Sting: “Flair. Wait one second. You don’t have any powers right now, but we do have facts. And the last time the cameras were rolling everybody saw me beat you right in the center of this ring again. So that makes me more deserving than you, but I don’t want to be handed the title. I’ll wait until Booker T is 100 percent then I want him in a match.”

Segment Rating: 100

Scott Steiner walks down the ramp.

Scott Steiner: “Scott Steiner has an idea too. Since I lost the title I haven’t gotten my rematch. And by my calculations all WCW contracts are still here and that includes my rematch clause. So I’m the only guy that could and should be facing Booker T. I would fight you both for it but I know Ric Flair fears Big Poppa Pump. Sting I know you don’t want any of this. I would snap you in half.”

Ric Flair takes off his jacket and starts unbuttoning his shirt.

Ric Flair: “The Nature Boy isn’t afraid of anybody. So if you want to be the man come beat the man.”

Sting: “Ric you have a point Scott Steiner should come in here and fight the man. Me!

Segment Rating: 88

Gene Okerlund comes out with a letter.

Gene Okerlund: “Sorry to interrupt you guys, but I have just been requested to come out and make an announcement regarding WCW Big Bang, which will be live this Sunday Night. The WCW owner has announced the main event. It will be Scott Steiner, Ric Flair, and Sting in a triple threat match to determine who will become the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.”

Kevin Nash: The Insiders are still here and we are in the house. In our house. Totally Buffed thinks they belong in our ring. I don’t think so. They made be big and tough but are we afraid? No chance. Tell them about it Dallas.

DDP: Palumbo and O’Haire are two tough dudes and we plan on taking those titles but first we have to beat Totally Buffed. The Total Package and Bagwell. I can guarantee that at The Big Bang you will feel the Bang!”
