wrestlerman5000
I'm trying out TEW 2005 with intent to buy the latest one if I dig this one after a substantial amount of hours, but I can't get past the opening advert for Wrestling Spirit. There doesn't seem to be a way to close the window!?! Any help would be appreciated!
Adam Ryland
Sounds like you have incorrect DPI settings. This should be evident in there being a big grey ring around the right and bottom edges where the graphic is being stretched away. You can fix it as follows (quoted from the FAQ):

"I can only see part of the screen \ the screen looks weird \ the icons in the taskbar are not lining up properly..."

Right click on your Desktop -> Properties -> Settings, and alter your screen resolution to a bigger one if you can't see all the game. Alternatively, if that doesn't work, go to the same Settings menu, but click Advanced. You will see a place to set your DPI, make sure it is 96.

For reference though, there's not really much point in playing TEW2005 to get an idea of whether you want to buy TEW2016 - the latter is several iterations further on and so is significantly improved in every area, it's like riding a dirt bike to see if you should buy a Harley <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png"> You'd be way better off downloading the free TEW2016 demo and playing that.
