Guest T0morrow
<p>Another quick question - and I apologize if I seem extremely dense again. </p><p> Would fighters still be regenerated if I only have say, male surnames (and only male surnames, no male first names or female first name/surnames)? I would assume that since there are no female names at all in the database there would be no female fighters regenerating, but I was wondering if a male fighter would regenerate, since there is only male surnames and no male first names to choose from in the database.</p>
Adam Ryland
No, because you can't make a valid name without forenames. I'm not sure why anybody would make a database with only surnames though.

ShaunGBD
Adam I see the limit for an event number is 1000. I'm close to hitting that. Can you raise it or something?
BrokenCycle
Someone please tell me what controls the "[Fighter] Extends Deal With [Your Company]" e-mail. It is so annoying, and I can't find the the correct option in the settings.
daddy_shelton
Someone please tell me what controls the "[Fighter] Extends Deal With [Your Company]" e-mail. It is so annoying, and I can't find the the correct option in the settings. In-game, click the hammer and wrench icon (options) and that'll bring you to the in-game editor. In that sidebar, click Mail Settings. That'll control what mail you do and don't get. I'm not sure specifically WHICH one it is since I'm not the best at the mail but I'm pretty sure you're looking for the "Contract Extension Signed For You Automatically" setting. Turn that to Ignore. If that doesn't work, maybe try Notable Character Signs Contract (With Player).
BrokenCycle
It's the Notable Character Gets Signed By AI option... <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/confused.png.d4a8e6b6eab0c67698b911fb041c0ed1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

That gives me an idea for a narrative for an underground promotion: A fighter gets beaten up by goons after leaving the company for another one and his body/head/leg health gets dropped to 20%. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> (not possible to make it currently, but I was just kidding of course <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />)</p>

Suede
There aren't any, although there's not really a need for them - all the stats are either explained in-game or are self explanatory, and the editor is very straightforward to use. Anyone with even rudimentary computer skills should be able to create mods easily. It was more a guide for creating fighters so they aren't overpowered, that sort of thing. How to create a balanced mod, things to avoid etc. I am updating an existing mod and it is missing quite a few fighters that I want to add. However, having never really created fighters before, I don't want to make them really powerful or anything, but I don't want to start from the beginning if something was out there that could give me a Head start. Thanks anyway
Silent Hitman
Apologies if this has been asked before but I noticed that when creating a broadcaster, if it's internet based its drastically cheaper to make. I'm wondering if there are any downsides to doing so?
Adam Ryland
Yes - you're not getting anywhere near the exposure and you're losing out on a ton of revenue.
gayjesus
<p>Adam, can you maybe look into a feature that allows us to add/import whole folders to "Free Pictures" instead of being able to just select individual renders / pictures?</p><p> </p><p> I want to add my whole pictures folder to the "free pictures" so that I can play a game with exclusively generated characters with pictures.</p>
Adam Ryland
No, because there's no way for the game to know what settings each picture should have. It can't distinguish between race, gender, etc, they're just pixels to the game.

Adam Ryland
See the Technical Support forum, there's a FAQ dedicated to licensing.
daddy_shelton
See the Technical Support forum, there's a FAQ dedicated to licensing. Crisis averted actually. Out of sheer curiosity, I decided to see if reinstalling WMMA5 on the computer would work since my appdata, program files, and whatnot are on a different drive than the one that crashed. Lo and behold, it's running fine. I guess the license file isn't kept with the standard install directory. ...Or I just got incredibly lucky. Either way, counting my blessings.
