Is there possibility to put default fighters as free names? Or where and how can I get free names (characters) for my database?

I'm not sure what you mean by "free names" as that's not a term used in WMMA.

If you're talking about the Free Pictures section then you can add the pictures used by the default characters there, but you'd have to enter them manually unless you can find a database where somebody has done it for you.

If you're talking about adding their first names / surnames to the possible list of character names then yes, you can, but again you'd need to add them in via the editor. A lot of them would already be present anyway given that they'd have been generated that way to begin with (especially Asian characters).

You can change their weight class before match making as many times as you wish.

Adam, is there possibility to set random skills for default fighters? I just want to start a game without knowing who will definetly dominate their weight class.

Asking this question I am starting to understand that it is a little bit wrong (stupid) or something like that. As I understand, the best way it is just delete all default fighter and use only free pictures. But it's sad to lose so many nice renders.

So once again a new-crowned champion has decided to go on hiatus... I in two minds wether I should strip him of the title or crown an interim champion, since I have no idea when he'll return... What would you do?

Edit: I've tried creating some shows to see if he's available for booking, and one year into the future he's not. I'm stripping him of the title. One day reign... amazing :p

Kinda makes some sense. When you devote 10 years of your life with the sole goal you envision is to become champion, you might just fall into a black hole or just look for other things.

Never had it happen though. It usually happens you fighters on decline who are suffering through a losing streak or just got an upset loss.

Doesn't sound right in my ears, since Fantastic should be better than excellent... However, I've had one excellent rated match, but several fantastic rated, and the excellent one, won match of the year, and is in the records as best match so far.

How does Eras and generated fighters work?

I mean in Eras we can set a minimum amount of fighters in each weightclass, for example 10 fighters per class minimum. When these fighters will appear?

I've deleted all characters and wanted to start the game from 1993 with generated (random skills) fighters only. I had thought I would get some fighters every month, but I got only 10 fighters per weightclass in 1993. Next time I got new fighters only when the new era started.

Do Eras give fighters once at the beginning?

Era minima give fighters as soon as both of these are fulfilled:

1. There is a promotion in the area that uses that weight class

2. There are less than 10 active fighters in that area in said weight

It will start generating for instance when:

- GAMMA opens a flyweight division (AI will never do that if there's no active fighters in the area, but it could be a mod's narrative)

- There are only 2 flyweights left in USA as they've all moved to Asia

- 8 fighters will be created the next month if the limit is set to 10 in Era settings

You obviously need the "generated fighters" setting at its default "enabled" state.

Thanks a lot Blackman, now I understand the way how it works. I thought the number is how many fighters would be created.

Do regens of default fighters appear only once in one game? I would like to play one game as long as I can 😀 and I'm afraid I would not have enough fighters there in the future. Sorry, if the question is dumb, I missed WMMA4, and there are so many new features in 5 after WMMA3.
