2003: Continuing Growth

Recommended Posts

With the WMMA series, most likely, coming to a end, I wanted the story to continue at least one more year. I will be playing a full year with each company each in a different save. At the end of each year I will be giving a recap of how that year went for that company. I'm also planning on some user participation (voting on certain things containing to the mod.) The Gamma review should start sometime tonight or tomorrow. I will also go over the hirings and firings of the company in play.

GAMMA: Super Heavyweight Rankings

1. George Pickering: 12-0 Pickering is the only champion left that survived 2002. He has defeated Herey Polter and Frank Paul...again.

2. Kel Ryan: 10-1 Kel had a ad start, losing to former champion, Davey Rushton. But he was able to make it up when he won the third ever "Open Chance" defeating Debuting Dwight Whitherspoon, Randolph Gulliver, and Hanley Polter

3. Hanley Polter: 9-2 Henry did not have the best of years. Losing to George Pickering at the beginning of the year. He made it to the finals before being dominated by Kel Ryan at the Open Chance.

4. Den Bickersteth: 8-0: Den will be making his debut in 2003. He defeated 3 former stars of Gamma before coming to Gamma.

5. Frank Paul: 10-2: Frank had only one match this year where he was dominated by George Pickering. Pickering is the only fighter who has been able to defeat Paul though.

6. Drew D'Acosto: Drew shot up the rankings this year. Defeating both Oscer Mallaby and Joe Snettisham (in 1 minute!) Drew has proven that he deserves a title shot in the near future

7. Cory Frain 6-0: Though his year wasn't as good as Drews, Cory was able to get himself up the rankings defeating Yan Hasluck

8. Teddy Glossop: 5-1-1 NC Glossop had a bad year. He defeated Seb Morehead for about two days on record, as he failed a drug test right afterwards. Teddy returns in February.

13. Oscer Mallaby: 5-3 No one knows why Oscer is here in this position. He lost to Drew but somehow defeated rising star Bruno Doman. Who knows where he goes from here.

14 Seb Morehead 9-2-1 NC: Morehead was the victim to Glossop before Glossop had his Drug Test. He lost to Randolph Gulliver in the Open Chance

15 JJ Mcinleen: 5-1 JJ made the claim that he should get a title shot because he was undefeated. He lost to Polter in the first round of the Open Chance

16 Dwight Whitherspoon: 6-1 Looked at as the future of the devision, Dwight was signed in the middle of 2002. He lost in the first round of the Open Chance to Kel Ryan
