SIGMA: The Next Big Thing

Recommended Posts

Dl Freeman had one goal when he came to Europe, to make a MMA promotion. He has been with SIGMA since the very beginning. Watching from backstage as Niko Soldo knocks out Fass Smit with a head kick to the head. He waited until the chance to take over as promoter of SIGMA. He introduced multiple fights to one card. He has made Stars out of the Basora Brothers, Fiyero Lermontov, Lefter Oktay, Snorri Gunnarson, Niko Soldo, and Kenneth Toadspew. Though SIGMA has been focusing on BCF in recent years, GAMMA and ALPHA-1 both signed many of SIGMAS stars in 2001. Signing Lefter Oktay, Lermontov, and have lost now ALPHA-1 Champions in the past years such as Terron Cabel, and Noah Van Der Capellen. Though it seems BCF have the upper hand over SIGMA, DL Freemen knows how to succeed though tough times.

Heavyweight: Aleksander Ivanov has been dominate since Lefter Oktay signed with Alpha-1. Knocking out Murger Boc to become champion, Ivanov plans on being champion for a long time. Ivanovs one issue is Gezegorz Boniek, who is next in line for a championship shot. Boc is still reading from his lost to Ivanov while Stratos Papaioannou is on a 3 fight losing streak. Jocco Lamdeweerd, Josef Jankowski, and Roope Kuqi are all undefeated.</p>

Light Heavyweight: Niko Soldo has been dominating the division since the very beginning, with Matti Kerri being his only roadblock. Valentin Tameyev is almost definitely the next challenger for the belt. Nicolai Mickiewicz is also another potential future challenger. Prospects include Dag Kruger, Stephen De Winter, Emil Karlsson, and Rens De Buas
