Ufnal Posted March 23, 2018 Share Posted March 23, 2018 As a person trying out the demo after spending hundreds of hours in WMMA3, I find the Compare function when setting up a match problematic. Not all the skill categories fit in the boxes in the comparison screen, so to compare the fighters' ground control or marketing/menace levels I need to check their skills screens separately. Also, as the backgrounds are displayed first, fighters with a different number of backgrounds have the rest of their skills displayed at a different position in the box, making comparisons tedious and unintuitive. Compared to WMMA3, where you got the info on all the main skill groups as well as a clear visual indication who is better in which area, this is a big step back. I am not sure whether anything can be done about this now, but I'm leaving this feedback just in case. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Adam Ryland Posted March 24, 2018 Share Posted March 24, 2018 The skills you see depend on the scouting level of the fighters; it's not possible for them to all match up in terms of place on the screen because different fighters are showing different amounts (and names) of categories. That's true, but a) WMMA3 dealt with that by bringing information about both fighters to the lowest common scouting level - which made you see less information about one of the fighters, but it let you compare them quite well, which is the point of that screen. I mean, it might be more my preference than one being downright better than the other, but I personally would've gone for the option that's more useful in gauging the fighters against one another b) That still doesn't explain making a screen which can't display all the information at higher scouting levels due to lack of space.
