Google is discontinuing the Goo.gl URL Shortening Console

They're putting in something called "Firebase Dynamic Links", but it doesn't do simple URL shortening the way Goo.gl does; their post recommends that you switch over to using Bit.ly and Ow.ly for basic URL shortening.

Please tweet @Google and @GoogleDevs and ask/tell them NOT to discontinue the Goo.gl URL Shortening Console.

(It probably won't stop them from removing it, but if enough people tweet them about it, it might at least put it on their radar that people never wanted it gone in the first place)

 

There's literally no reason to get rid of it, even when they're trying to phase in this new Firebase thing.
