EXODUS Wrestling Redux

The Story

In January of 2016, the formerly EXODUS 2010 was taken over by Optimus after former owner Yoshi Oshiro was sentenced to time in prison due to connections to the Yakuza. Though Oshiro was imprisoned, the massive 10 million in the the EXO2010 bank account was left to the company. With the backing of the legendary figure, they began to change, evolving their roster, changing the name, only thing that remained was the titles and product. Thus EXODUS Wrestling Redux was born!

Growth

2016 proved to be a crazy year for them. Using their massive budget to their advantage, they invested in warehouses in every region to save money in their growth., running an insane 8 events a month, they quickly reached regional. Focusing on the Kanto & Hokkaido regions, by the end of the year they would reach Cult, their status cemented after buying out their ally Golden Canvas Grappling, absorbing much of their popularity in the process and rounding them out in many areas.

Despite the Japanese region of the world hitting an all time low they still fought through, though another BIG company did not. At the end of 2016, PGHW was in debt by a tune of 1.8 Million a figure that over the next few months turned to 2.4 milion, at which point (January 2017) the financial powerhouse of EWR, bought them out as well, absorbing their popularity and hitting National status and becoming the top company in Japan in one fell swoop!

The Split

55GLWHT.pngpAjRBJF.pngL275LCg.png

Now utilizing a massive roster consisting of many of the best workers formely of PGHW and GCG as well as EXODUS originals, EXODUS Wrestling Redux looks established as a true contender for the best promotion in the entire world, seeking to win the coveted title this year as opposed to the "Most Improved" title they got last year.

Shortly after the PGHW acquisition, they split the brands, leaving a mainly heavyweight (MW and above) brand called PGHW, with some juniors mixed in, while the flagship program remains High Velocity All Stars, having only MW and under competitors.

I am also looking for someone to help me with graphics and potentially stream with me, I use OBS, but also have Xsplit. Please let me know what you think guys, thank you for your time!

please let me know what you think. Fellow writers in here I would much appreciate your feedback!

also for predicting Rhyme, please PM me and we can figure out your prize! I attempted to PM you, but you have to enable it in your setting before I can! Would you like to book a custom match for Day 2, using anyone on the roster not in the tournament, or HIJIRI & Masaru Ugaki as they face off for the World title, unless you would like to name the stipulation of their match?

(from left to right Naizen Uboshita, Keiji Takeda, Takeji Komagata)

*rough translation from Japanese*

NU: Welcome everyone, to the Muoran Baseball Stadium we are LIVE in front of a sold out crowd of 30,000 people in the Hokkaido region! These fans are ready to see the most diverse and ultimate wrestling action in the world! We bring to you the evolution of wrestling, the EXODUS Wrestling Redux! I am your host Naizen Uboshita alongside my partners in crime, Keiji Takeda & "Notorious" Takeji Komagata, what do you guys think will go down tonight?

KT: I have seen lots of the very best compete in my 27 years as a broadcaster but the group of talent in tonight's tournament is possibly the greatest line up I have ever seen! All 8 teams are absolutely amazing, no weak links here! All 8 teams had hard fought battles last night to advance and earned their spot, personally I have last year's winners Massive Thunder going all the way again.

TK: Do you two ever shut up? We all know that the winners are going to be Pride & Glory, their dominance since joining us here has never been seen. I mean they took down a literal Giant, all these teams together couldn't take him out!

KT: I highly disagree, having watched these two for years, what they did was reprehensible! Not to mention all these teams could have done that, you just always like the bad guys! Massive Thunder has been in EXODUS since their very first show I see them holding the flag atop the rest of these teams once again, who do you think is taking home the crowns Naizen?

NU: I truthfully can't even pick! So much talent it is astonishing, if I had to though I would probably say that the reigning tag champs are probably the favorites, though i feel tonight could very well be unpredictable as there are so many possibilities. With that said lets get down to the ring as our opening contest is about to begin..

Hellfire (Demon Akimatsu/Torch) vs Logan Wolsbaine(debut)/Ray Diaz vs Darkness Brigade (Dark Rider/Rokuemon)

-In a bout that had decent wrestling, but not much heat, Logan Wolfsbaine & Ray Diaz won in 14:09 when Diaz pinned Torch after a Whiplash Lariat.

Ray Diaz was the MVP of the matchup, Logan debuted his "very good" Blue Chipper gimmick!

Winner=Wolfsbaine & Diaz | Rated 80-B

Cy86xUi.pngpAjRBJF.png4eIp3wE.png

In a bout that had superb wrestling and decent heat, Massive Thunder defeated American Machine in 12:31 when Commander subbed Insane Machine with a Single Leg Crab. Massive Thunder moves on to round 2!

American Elemental was the MVP of the match.

Winners= Massive Thunder | Rated 80-B

Grh0KGM.pngpAjRBJF.pngISIXeHF.png

In a bout that had superb wrestling and decent heat, Fighting Sprirt defeated Golden Combat in 14:43 when Razan defeated Hiroyasu with a Brainbuster. Fighting Spirit moves on to round 2.

Takayuki 2000 was the MVP of the match.

winners= Fighting Spirit | Rated 88-B+

zWTvlzj.pngpAjRBJF.pngNKn5nV7.png

In a bout that had superb wrestling and decent heat, KitoGuchi defeated Championship Connection in 13:55 when Bussho defeated Konrad with a Blazing Elbow. KitoGuchi moves on to round 2!

Bussho was the MVP of the match.

Winners= KitoGuchi | Rated 81-B

DSHKnqU.pngpAjRBJF.pngIpjyxM2.png

In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat, Unbreakable defeated Pride & Glory in 13:39 after Giant Khoklov exacted his revenge against P&G taking out Kozue first and weakening PRIDE for Edd to land the Party's Over Shooting Star Press to get the win.

P&G both scored 100 and were the MVP of the match.

Winners= Unbreakable | Rated 78-B

JVR46qN.pngDFutLrU.pngHktq7C6.png

*rough translation*

NU:With that we will take our first intermission before returning to the action, what are your thoughts so far?

TK:Pride & Glory was ROBBED! That giant had no business interfering with such an important event such as this!

NU:What do you mean, they screwed him out of the Heavyweight championship, don't be preposterous!

KT: What an upset regardless, definitely the biggest potential upset of the tournament to begin with!

NU: I disagree, Stone Yoshikawa is a former World champion here, and Edd Stone is from what of the most well known wrestling families in the world, who's to say they even needed the "Giant" assist. *chuckles*

TK: Oh shut up, you know as well as anyone that wasn't even thought of as a possibility, we all know they're gonna lose to any of the other three teams.

KT: Gonna have to wait and see, stay tuned for more action!

why would someone give me a one star rating? really? I've really been enjoying this game and trying to share it with everyone and putting a lot of work into it..

guess I'll just stop then. No one likes C-Verse games in here anymore anyways :/

Don't stop over someone being petty.

I'm really enjoying what I've been reading from your work

I appreciate it guys, it just sucks when people do stuff like this. I've literally been playing this game for months sharing it in the fb groups and just loving it. I understand an honest review but it's hard to think it's one star worthy.. Definitely a work in progress, and I know these shows lack story a bit, but this is just a grand prix show trying to show off my roster. I'm always open to suggestion and i do this to entertain others, not even myself. Cuz it take a LOT of time

I really appreciate it and I will have the rest of the show up ASAP, just running out of time for tonight unfortunately to cut out the rest of the guys and post cuz it was a biiiiig show

Unbreakable vs Mystery Opponents as chosen by the fans.

-Unbreakable has opted out of a paid night off to come in and prove they are legitimate and none of their wins last night, a fluke. They mocked the tag team champions, KitoGuchi in a post-show conference for taking their paid night off, saying champions fight every day, everywhere..

The choice was left up to those of you in Wrestling Simulation Universe to make (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1483511248425419/?ref=bookmarks) so if you were paying close attention you already know who it shall be. Will Unbreakable get yet another big victory or will the fans have chosen too much for them to handle!

#1 Contender's 3 Way Dance - Ryoma Muryama vs Vince Von Trapp vs Mr Lucha III

-With HIJIRI electing save his rematch clause for a short while, a new top contender must be named.. In an international three way dance, Japan, Mexico, and the USA will be represented. Ryoma Muruyama, the former tag team partner of champion Masaru Ugaki, took the opposite route of Ugaki upon entering EWR, staying out of any alliances, their formerly gold-winniing tandem included.

Former World champion,newly christened Vince Von Trapp, coming back after a brief injury, looks to return at the very top, and is intent to not wait in line for a shot at what he believes should be his. And Mr Lucha III is the underdog of the matchup, not having been extremely succesful in singles competition. He currently holds the Modern Japan Movement Television championship and is defending it all over, this could be his big moment in EWR.

Non-title match - Masaru Ugaki vs Reijiro Hiraki

-Newly crowned champion Ugaki enters the ring to face all challengers, having been called out by the former BHOTWG dojo graduate, Reijiro Hirake in a post-show interview last night, he opted to accept the challenge, but would not put his title on the line just yet, claiming he had to defeat HIJIRI several times before finally winning the championship matchup. Hiraki is young and hungry, with a certain "it" factor to him, it will be very interesting to see him under the microscope to see how he handles the pressure.

All-Asia championship - Masa Kurata © vs Stealth Z

-Fresh off competing in the Dynamic Duo Grand Prix, AA champion Masa Kurata does not get a night off as we see Stealth Z get his first singles championship oppurtunity. He won the inaugural Silver Shibanuma Invitational this past January for our dev company NOVA. Kurata has shown though that he has no intentions of relinquishing his championship, claiming the former tag team worker hasn't even proven he deserves a shot..

Toju Munkata vs Power SATO

-The debuting BHOTWG dojo graduate, Toju Munkata has already revealed an alliance to the Shameless Miscreants, will he be able to start off his momentum with a win over hot prospect SATO?

Tables Match - Crimson Ghost vs Devious MOTO

-In our opening contest, a tables match, we see the Crimson Ghost return to television taking on the enigmatic MOTO. In a clash of styles given even more of a twist with the odd stipulation, it is hard to know what to expect out of this matchup!
