EHv3 Posted April 23, 2018 Share Posted April 23, 2018 Welcome True Believers I decided to start work on a Marvel Mod for this which will hopefully be quite expansive. So Far I'm looking at around 500 Characters, this will likely increase as I get more immersed in it and start adding more and more. The original list comes from Wudu's Marvel Mod (Massive thank you) who I don't think is around the forum any more but without him, this mod likely wouldn't take place. This is still very much in it's infancy in that I'm still finalising the characters and getting all of their images together. I want to have the V1 Character list and images together and resized by Sunday evening (UK Time) and then from the Bio, Relationships, Teams, Alter egos etc added to it over the weeks after that. I'm going to attach a google sheet with all the current progress on where it and if you want to make a suggestion with any character you love but can't see go right ahead. The only constraint I have is that the characters have to have had a semi-recent run as I'm not a fan of the silver/golden age drawing style for a lot of the characters and I just prefer the newer style. I've also tried to keep most characters from Earth-616 but if there isn't a good enough image or I prefer a design from other Marvel Continuities then I've grabbed it from there. Prody Posted May 1, 2018 Share Posted May 1, 2018 Such a nice list of people. Can’t wait to play. My only suggestion is maybe include Gwenpool, Iron Heart, Spider Gwen, and Viv Vision. These gals are all still pretty new in terms of being part of the Marvel Universe, but i just like them. So if you have time, love to see these gals included in. I get authentic dialogue for each character from comics, movies, cartoons, for each character. I actually finished collecting about four lines per character (1,856 lines of dialogue) a week ago.</p><p> </p><p> The idea is that the world is a lot more colorful to play in when the guys you are fighting actually speak and react to what you are doing in a way that they usually would in the comics.</p><p> </p><p> I am now in the process of inputting all of this dialogue into Comic Book Hero from my spreadsheet. It is time-consuming because the program is old and does not support AutoHotkey, so I'm using hardware-based keyboard macros to help me. I predict I will be done in a couple of days, at which point I am going to make a thread for that.</p><p> </p><p> I mention all of this here because it was my plan after finishing the initial dialogue to actually start adding some missing characters to the game. (Groot, Red Hulk, Anti-Venom, Agent Venom, Howard the Duck, I have a whole spreadsheet of missing characters I'd like to add.) I actually have plans to add Anti-Venom and Agent Venom as alternates of Venom (treating the symbiote as the character instead of Brock), so none of them can exist at the same time. All of those characters will also have their own dialogue.
