WWE 2005: Shane McMahon shocks the World!

Hi guys, I'm new here, but I played TEW for a while. Currently I am playing a 2005 mod, in game I am Vince McMahon, the owner of the WWE. I modified the database as well. I set WCW from closed to open and Shane McMahon is the owner with a couple of stars already signed to written deals like Scott Hall, Nash, Hogan, Sting, Goldberg, DDP and someone else. I've already played through January, which had two events from WWE (New Years Revolution and Royal Rumble) and one event from WCW, but I haven't written anything out yet. Here's the only example from my diary as I just wrote this quickly. This is the very first Monday Night Raw of 2005, just after Shane walked out and stole from WWE and then revived WCW bringing back some competition to the game. I don't have much experience writing on forums or Internet in general so sorry for this very simple and boring view. I would love to write my shows with a beautiful design in the future, but for now I just want to know what you think and if I should continue with this?

WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW;

2005, JANUARY, WEEK 1;

 

PA Petersen Events Center (Tri State);

12,006 in Attendance;

TV: 11.98;

 

FINAL SHOW RATING - B+

 

 

1 IN-RING

 

"Vince McMahon revealed that Shane McMahon secretly stole all rights of the WCW franchise and walked out of the WWE.

Vince reveals that WWE had a secret superstar shake up and only new RAW superstars are backstage.

Vince reveals that Stephanie McMahon will take over as the General Manager for both RAW and SmackDown and then calls her out to join him in the ring.

Stephanie McMahon shows up with Triple H and she is about to announce HHH as our new World Champion.

The Rock music hits! He reveals that before Shane left, he helped The Rock with a brand new WWE contract which keeps him away from a full-time competition and kind of gives him a lot of rights. He will be able to act in Hollywood whenever he wants to as well.

The Rock then brings out a couple wrestlers from the back who are much better and more deserving than HHH.

John Cena, Chris Benoit and The Undertaker show up on the ramp.

Vince McMahon is forced by the Rock to book his last match on RAW before Stephanie takes over.

Tonight's Main Event for the World Heavyweight Title: Triple H vs. Chris Benoit vs. The Undertaker!

John Cena won't be involved in the match as he is current US Champion, unless he vacates the title.

John Cena rejects and says that title doesn't make a man, but a man makes a title then leaves to the backstage.

Vince quickly decides to book one more match before Stephanie takes over: John Cena vs. Gene Snitsky for the United States Title!

Vince McMahon just booked two HUGE title matches for tonight!

2 MATCH (WWE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES)

 

"Dave Finlay and Mark Jindark defeated Eugene and William Regal.

Eugene was pinned when William Regal turned on him."

 

C+

 

 

3 BACKSTAGE

 

"Batista and Triple H walking backstage. Batista is confident he can beat Hardcore Holly without Triple H's help up-next.

Batista is confident Triple H doesn't need any help in the Main Event tonight as well, so he is going to leave early tonight.

Triple H is clearly shocked and unhappy, but pretends to be totally OK with that, but he's clearly lost.

They approach John Cena and stop. Triple H suddenly offers John Cena to be the NEW member of Evolution.

John Cena doesn't know what to say, he has to think about it. HHH tells John Cena that he will watch his back tonight.

Suddenly Triple H walks away with a confident smile, leaves John Cena confused.

Batista keeps looking at the US Title and says that John Cena could really use someone to watch his back and follows HHH."

Batista defeated Hardcore Holly.

5 IN-RING

 

"Post match, Hardcore Holly is still laying in the ring, visibly feeling the side effects of his match against Batista earlier.

Maven runs in with a chair and beats the shit out of Holly then leaves through the crowd taunting."

6 BACKSTAGE

 

"Vince is in the office with Stephanie McMahon. He tries to teach her some things, but she's clearly not interested.

John Cena walks to the office without knocking. He asks where the ring is as he is new to Monday Night RAW.

Vince is shouting at John Cena for coming in without knocking, Stephanie McMahon shows she knows how to do that too.

The Rock comes in as well, he says that the door was open. Vince is even more mad.

The Rock overheard the convo and asks Vince to be nicer to newbies unless he wants his candy ass kicked.

The Rock then offers John Cena a guide to the ring as his match is up-next. John Cena says he's fine and leaves."

7 MATCH (WWE UNITED STATES TITLE)

 

John Cena defeated Gene Snitsky.

8 IN-RING

 

"John Cena is celebrating his quite easy victory over Snitsky.

Trish Stratus shows up and comes real close to John Cena, then kiss him very passionately.

She takes the mic and says that she wants to be his manager. He takes the mic and throws it away.

Cena lifts her up and takes her to the back."

9 MATCH

 

"Big Show and Kane defeated Billy Kidman and Chavo Guerrero by count-out.

Kidman and Chavo began arguing and both were counted out."

10 IN-RING

 

"Chavo Guerrero and Billy Kidman continues arguing and then brawl between them errupts.

Security showed up to separate these two men.

Big Show and Kane were spectating the whole thing from the side and were still hoping for the match to be restarted.

Security escorted Kidman and Chavo to the back.

Kane and Big Show left to the back both very disappointed."

11 MATCH (WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE)

 

"Triple H defeated Chris Benoit and The Undertaker.

John Cena and Trish Stratus interfered. Stratus distracts the referee. John Cena attacks The Undertaker.

Triple H pinned Chris Benoit after The Undertaker did a tombstone piledriver on him before he was attacked by John Cena."

If I'm going to continue with this diary, I have an idea to write about what Shane is doing with WCW as well, I would like to try to write out WCW computer booked shows too. I think I have to play a little more to see if it could work out. But anyways, please let me know SHOULD I CONTINUE WITH THIS DIARY?

I am thinking to include photos, but only on PPV's. I will be more detailed about the matches in the future, like I mentioned this is just a small taste just to see if people are interested. I'm really glad that you like it so I will be uploading the very first SmackDown this weekend as well. I am trying to write it out on excel and then export the table as a picture. I have to think of how and where to include pictures if I use this format, do you have any suggestions?</p><p> </p><p> I simply copied the whole table from excel and then opened a new sheet and in the home tab there's a little arrow under 'paste' where you can select to paste it as a picture under the "other paste options". Then you can copy the pasted picture and paste it on Paint to save it as an image. I'm not sure if you can save it as a picture straight from excel, but if you use windows you should have the paint software. </p><p> </p><p> All the best!</p>

Angles without pictures elevates the surprise element of the segment, keeps you reading with more unpredictability so angles will be even better without them. I guess I won't use pictures on angles at all! Sweet, I'm getting really excited to keep this going.
