TCW meets DOTT

In 1975, Father Robert Frederick Drinan a United States Congressman from the third district of Massachusetts introduced a piece of legislation that would eventually ban professional wrestling . At the time the sport was growing in popularity as federation’s sprung up and were ran in different Territories of the United States and most of the world. Things were good and Father Drinan thought that wrestling was savage and unholy. He thought it was bad for kids to watch and wanted it all to stop. So he used his powers given to him by the voters to do what he could to stop it. The McMahon family of New York, The Crocketts, and the Jarretts all fought the United States Government to have the votes reject this legislation. However in 1976 it passed the house and then the Senate in a close vote. Wrestling was outlawed forever. A few promoters like Vince McMahon Jr. ran shows illegally in back rooms but most of the talent either moved on to other careers, moved to Japan, or retired altogether. Many of the promoters found new businesses like Jerry Jarrett who invested in a chain of children’s reasturants named Chuck E Cheese’s. In the case of Jim Crockett he invested wisely in this new computer company called Apple. Things seemed bleak for wrestling as fans still itched to watch the sport, yet had no legal means to do so. Then in 1982 the Senior Senator from the state of Arizona, former presidential nominee, Senior Barry Goldwater submitted a bill that repealed the legislation allowing wrestling to return to the American pop culture. He cited the facts that President Lincoln was even a fan and participant in the sport and its un-American for the US government to makes law outlawing such activities. The bill’s repeal passed in January of 1983 opening a flood gate of wrestling back to United States. Now here it is present time 1983, and federations are again allowed to open up operate legally. The business is now big money as TV networks have taken off and the US is a generation out of the depression era mentality and very consumer driven of non-necessary products. To say the least the world is vein and full of its self. Jerry Jarrett used his money from Chuck E Cheese’s to open the SWF and draw back stars from Japan like Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, and Dusty Rhodes. Ric Flair was selling cars in North Carolina and was happy to return to the action. With more money then God, Jim Crockett has opened the TCW where he hopes to buy and create the best company in the world. It’s a new world and a new way of doing business as guys leave their day jobs and return to the ring this time on a national stage with big money and big contracts. Where do we take it from here? Only time will tell. [Thanks to the DOTT and all the mod creaters for making all worlds possible. I have taken most of the data of DOTT(wrestlers, belts, TV) and placed them in the default world. I have cleared the contract data making it a giant free agent market in 1983. I have taken over the booking job in TCW and I hope you all enjoy.]

Very cool start to this! Some of the pairings - and whatnot - are as inspired as I have seen in the diary forum. Gary Hart & Stu Hart running things; the Jewish Jesus, Mark Lewin, being managed by Andy Kaufman (this one really cracked me up - Andy throwing matso balls into the crowd was hilarious); Johnny Rodz beating DiBiase; and the excellent tag team pairings all make for a very interesting set-up. Good luck - and thanks for taking the time to write this stuff up.

His passion and aggression man him a danger in the ring plus mixed with his skill he can be unstoppable. TCW is his chance at national stardom and after recently hooking up with Andy Kaufman who brought him back to his Jewish heritage in New York feels he has all the tools to take it all. Lewin: My people have been oppressed and demoralized for years. Much like the goyim promoters through out this country have oppressed me. They made me wear purple and hide my Star of David. Well I’m sick of hiding who I am I’m a Jewish wrestler ready to lead my people just as Moses did before me. I will be the first and only TCW champion because my friends its Devine intervention!!! Kaufman: Ummm yes, you see Mark Lewin’s name will be in the same breath as Jesus Christ, John Wayne, Sandy Koufax, and Mark Spitz!! All fine Jewish superstars. Lewin: I don’t think John Wayne was Jewish? Kaufman: And that’s why he’s dead I mean if John Wayne was Jewish he would have raised back up like Jesus did! John Wayne would still be defeating bad guys and not laid out on his tokhes if he had a little Israel in him. But he was all FER****T with all that goy rubbish. Mark Lewin is the hero of a new generation and he will be the first TCW champion. For all the Jewish wrestling fans out there!! ONE OF SIXTEEN WILL HE BE THE CHAMPION?? TUNE INTO MALICE~!

It is believed they are hellbent on ruling the world under a one government system known as the New World Order. Nobody knows how he “managed” to get into the last man battle royal that secured his spot in the tournament. Word is at the time of the battle royal his name wasn’t on the list yet he managed to be added on at last minute, a very odd happening in pro-wrestling.
