I have just a real quick question if someone could answer it for me as I can't really find anything online. I'm playing a game as Pro Wrestling Noah and I'm trying to work my way up to a PPV contract but it seems their aren't any Japanese PPV providers in the mod.

So I was wondering if maybe we just missed to put one in, or if Japan doesn't do PPV?

Thanks again for everyone's hard work, this mod is amazing.

Yeah, no PPV really in Japan. “Big” events are shown live on Gaora, Samurai, TV Asahi 2 instead

For context, that’s why we have the “tier 1 or tier 2” broadcasters in Japan. Tier 1 represents showing live on the network, while tier 2 represents a tape delay (usually 7-10 days from event held to showing on a network irl)

Yeah I currently have a tier one for my big events and tier two for my TV show, but in the span of like 6 months in game, I've lost like 600K so I was trying to find a PPV for events. Seriously considering changing Sasha and Bailey's personality to a couple of disrespectful egomaniacs. No one is happy when they lose a title, but to act the say they are both reported to have behaved is a sign of disrespect. If I was Vince I'd get rid of them both. They think they are bigger than they actually are.

So I haven't played a Real World game since maybe TEW08? I just always find the data sets to be too imbalanced. However I have had the urge lately to play a real world mod so I started to check this one out. I have a question that going to come off whinny. I highly appreciate the work that goes into these mods as it is a ton. I have made some smaller from scratch mods myself and understand the crazy amount of work.

So I was looking through a lot of stats. One thing that stood out to me was the low Psychology rating of the WWE guys. Looking at a comparison of the top guys in Cverse compared to the top guys in this mod I was thrown off by some of the low Psychology scores. So one that stood out to me was that Billy Gunn has a Psychology of 90 in AEW. This is higher than every single active wrestler in WWE. I've watched wrestling for 30 years and Billy Gunn was a great athlete and good performer I have never really thought of him as having one of the top 20 minds for the business/match calling. Is this simple because Billy Gunn is the Road Agent of AEW and everyone respects him as a great agent so he needs higher psychology score to reflect his ability as a road agent? It's not really reflecting his in ring ability?

The tl:dr is that there are 21 active CVerse wrestlers with "excellent" psych scores, all of them are above 40 years old save for Angry Gilmore & Tommy (both 37) and Raven Nightfall (39). The above said, if you look at the big 3 US companies in the CVerse, they break out to "excellent" psych the following ways: SWF - 1 person (Gilmore) TCW - 2 people (Hill & Vessey) USPW - 3 people (Caulfield, Nightfall, Money) So it's not like the CVerse is blowing the doors off with a ton more psych at the top end. Taker is firmly there in the mod, as is Christopher Daniels, with AJ also knocking on the door. It's not perfect by any means, and bumping up a couple veterans a little higher in the psych department is on my long list of things to do for future iterations. My usual caveat of 2,800+ worker stats to wrangle, moving target of keeping the rest of the mod up to date, etc... notwithstanding. As to Billy Gunn, yeah, that's too high on him. Will be dropped for July. Hope that helps.

Hope that helps.</div></blockquote> I've always had a bit of a problem with this for road agents, because agenting is 9/10th politics/communication and 1/10th match layout most of what makes a good agent is helping guys work through impasses, smooth out creative differences, block out the show. That's why you see guys like Road Dogg and Gunn succeed in these positions more than Steamboat or Flair. I wish personality stats also affected the road agent grade a lot more than it does.

Vince wouldn't know a topical pop culture reference if is smacked him in the face and doesn't get a lot of gimmicks. Hell years back Paul Burchill came out doing a pretty spot on Johnny Depp Jack Sparrow and Vince couldn't understand why the pirate was acting drunk and hated it and nobody backstage could convince him it was topical and perfect for a midcarder so Burchill got buried. He was never going to get the War Raiders as they were and had to go with what he saw as what Vikings should look like. He doesn't really watch TV or movies and doesn't even watch NXT, he lives in his own little bubble. Shame for the war Raiders guys because that revamp makes them look terribly dated.
