I'm not as convinced of SSW's dominance as some others.

The Rock starts on Hiatus and Cena may go at any time, after that there is a relatively old and somewhat battered roster. Ambrose is the most obvious exception. They are still strong but they are likely to have decline issues and the AI is not as good at handling it as humans are. HRTVAndrew will handle it fine by picking up 5 to 10 younger workers with good upsides post draft from the huge free agent pool but the AI is more likely to hire older workers. It's one of those feds that the AI regularly runs into the ground.

DDT has a dangerous mix and that locker room could explode but if it doesn't then it's got a roster that could challenge SSW relatively early in the game and it has better long-term prospects.

PWU meanwhile is the exciting fed in terms of workers. It also has the PWU network which could end up being a huge cash cow. I think they have a tremendous upside an the financing could see them retain their talent from raids. The Alliance thing also helps them as the AI likes to borrow stars in Alliances and they can get some nice boosts over time.

WWS is the most likely to get raided as they have younger talent and will likely be the bottom dog in the US pack. That said there is enough there that with some luck they could boom and rise up and they have a strong TV deal.

Then there are two spoilers in LLLL & C-Pro. LLLL is going to be a Mexican powerhouse so winning there is tough for anyone else long term. C-Pro has enough about them to make an outsider winning in Canada difficult long term too especially if they are stuck in a US dogfight.

Meanwhile getting into Japan for an outsider is difficult given the strength of their big two and WWAA having the former NJPW Network and PWU having a foothold with their network making it even harder for another outsider to get to the top.

UK is not as impregnable with DWA & EEW strong but not as deep as the Japanese feds. Again getting a win there for an outsider long term might be tough again WWAA and PWU playing spoiler for outsiders trying to get into the market.

Meanwhile WWAA is off by itself and likely will stay strong in Australia. It's network ownership means it has visibility outside of Oz and while it's not made to dominate it's also positioned well to make money. In real life I will go on a hiring spree straight away to build up a large roster. The AI wont play the way I will with a Lucha Underground sense of absurd.

I think the world could go a lot of different ways with that mix.

Uncrewed gives us the data and we do with it what we like. Often people run watcher games to see how things shake out, some play the game with their companies, for some the fun was trying to draft a company. I'm tempted to do my first ever diary because I'm tempted to see the worlds reaction to Seth Rollins as Peter Parkour the Astounding Architect!

So I started a Watcher game to see how things shake out.

Firstly the initial order was interesting

SSW

WWAA

DDT

WWS

C-Pro

PWU

EEW

DWA

BSPW

LLLL

Dragon

The Japanese and Mex feds as usual don't have the crossover and surprisingly my weird beast is popular thanks to the star power involved.

Signings in month 1 – blame the AI not me.

DDT – Aaron Stevens, Sean Waltman, Rob Eckos, Taz, te Dibiase Snr, Elias Samson, Scott Hall, MVP, Heath Slater, Chris Mordetzky, Konnor, Jay Briscoe, Mrk Briscoe, Eddie Colon, Nick Dinsmore, Silas Young, David Finlay, Kazma, Brother Devon, Mike Chioda, Carly Colon, Tye Dillinger, Ray Leppan, Abyss, Masada, Ric Manning,

LLLL – Villano V, Hector Guerrero, Metalico, E Sagrado, Rey Escorpion, Marco Corleone, Dragon Roja Jr, Coptes Salazar, Leono, Hijo de Mascaro Ano 2000, Dorian Roldan, Vampiro, Maximo, Escoria, Polvora, Super Fly, El Terrible, Oficial 911, Black Tauro, El Hijo del Phantasma, Rey Cometa, Mr Niebla, Mascarita Dorada, Drago, Extreme Tiger, Billy Boy, Nino de Ebano, Charly Manson, Mascara Sagrada Jr, Argos, Delta, Angel Azteca Jr,

EEW – Steve Rogan, Awesome Kong, James Mason, Bram, Lionheart, El Ligero, Joel Allen, Johnny Kidd, Jack Jester, Steve Lynskey, Mickie James, Sin Cara, Dave Mastiff, Alex Shane, Jody Fleisch, Foxy, Iesten Rees

C- Pro - Martin Tremblay, Lufisto, Ashley Lane, Allie, Katarina Waters, Hailey Hatred, Candice Larae, Ms.Chif, Angle Williams, Trish Status, Brian Stilfer,

WWAA – Zivile Raudoniene, Peter Wilson (rookie ref)

Dragon – Toshiaki Kawada, JBL (good luck with that), Taru, Marty Asami, Kuniaki Kobayashi, Shinichi Nakayama

BSPW – BxB Hulk, Mohammed Yone, Mitsuhide Hirasawa, Masahiro Chono, Tiger Mask, Daichi Murayama,

DWA – William Humperdink, AJ Lee, John Myers

WWS – Nikki Bella, Ryan Reeves, Orlando Colon, Mike Rotunda, Jimmy Rave, Matt Bloom, Gunner,

SSW – Jason Ayers, Booker T, Michael Hayes, Al Snow, Kenny King, Rene Dupree

PWU – Bryce Remsburg, Ruckus, Mike Mondo

Then DDT poached Frankie Kazarian from WWAA but on the plus side Fandango and Judoka formed a team so Ronda rousey will now be dancing to the ring. SSW then poached the Bunny (PJ Black) . You can be certain those PPA contracts are becoming Written once I play the WWAA myself.

Signings wise in North America - DDT hired a bunch of guys in what seems to be a WCW throw a lot of tuff against a wall and see what happens move. SSW addressed it's issues by hiring a man in a Rabbit suit and Kenny King. LLLL hired any guy who had ever been to a wrestling match in Mexico. C-Pro decided it was a Womens fed in regards t hires. PWU ...ughhh … I smell doom. WWS - solid enough buys I guess

EEW hired a bunch of guys who - many of whom don't really excite. DWA hired AJ Lee and bugger all else. The British Isles do not look good in terms of those feds improving their profile.

Dragon decided they needed staff including JBL. BSPW got BxB Hulk. Surprisingly many vets remain unsigned. I would have thought the AI would have snapped some of those guys up.

WWAA lost 2 good workers and signed Aksana and a system generated ref. Sigh. The AI just doesn't get it. On the plus side the shows are getting good scores.

Uncrewed for when you do an update - Lock my titles so the AI doesn't drop the Superheroine straight away and replace it with the Big Gold Belt like it did here.

Teddy Long -2022

Triple H - 2022

Vince McMahon - 2019

Company Sizes in 2023:

International - DDT-USA and DRAGON

National - La Liga, WWAA, PWU, SSW

Cult - C-Pro, WWS, BSPW, DWA, EEW

Company Reports - (I deleted the alliance before I simmed just because I think it is more interesting to not have half the world allied).

EEW - Shinsuke Left in Jan 2019, Jericho Left in March 2019, Sheamus Left in Aug 2019. The promotions lack of depth plus these top guys leaving almost immediately crippled the promotion before it got going. Main Event Scene in 2023 = Matt Hardy (48), Marty Scurll, Nick Aldis and Stu Bennett.

DWA - Somehow Brock Lesnar has worked for them for the last 5 years as an active main eventer. Pete Dunne, Enzo Amore and Sheamus make up the rest of their main event scene in 2023, with a very steep drop off going into the rest of the roster.

BSPW - Okada is retired with injury, Tanahashi is retired, and Shibata left before the end of 2018 to go to DRAGON. KENTA remains along with Sanada and a 50 year old Togi Makabe, but not much else to speak of. BSPW burned bright coming out of the draft, but didn't have staying power.

WWS - As many predicted, WWS might be the most raided company of the draft. Surprisingly, Big E has remained loyal and stuck it out, but his main event partners include Angelico, Alberto Del Rio (45), Jimmy Rave, Luke Harper and Moose, with the rest of the roster only getting worse and more random.

C-Pro - I wrote the summary for WWS before I checked out C-Pro. C-Pro is right up there as far as getting absolutely raided for talent. Their main event scene in 2023 consists of Davey Boy Smith Jr., Eric Young, Sammy Guevara and Tyler Breeze. From mid 2019 to 2020 they lost Daniel Bryan, Kevin Steen, Sami Zayn and Bobby Roode to DDT-USA, with Xavier Woods going to SSW in that same period.

SSW - Ambrose, Angle (who still hasn't retired), Cena, and Mysterio all left in 2019 or early 2020 to go to DDT-USA. They have been replaced by CM Punk, Xavier Woods, Marifuji, Rusev moving up the card, Samoa Joe and the shocking new number one wrestler in the world, Uhaa Nation (Apollo Crews).

PWU - AJ stayed until 2020 when he was let go (remains an active, but unsigned competitor). Samoa Joe left for SSW in late 2021. They've promoted homegrown guys like Cedric Alexander, Ricochet, TJ Perkins and Ospreay to the main event and signed Jay Lethal, Jey Uso and The Miz (best signing ever? SO MANY BINGO HALL JOKES) to round out their main event scene.

WWAA - This promotion has done remarkably well holding on to their talent. Cesaro, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Batista and Alexa Bliss are all still there and Billie Kay and Cheerleader Melissa have been turned into certified main eventers.

La Liga - Has pretty much remained with a stagnant dominance in Mexico, keeping every person they drafted, with the only point of note being that they signed Hiroki Goto in 2019 and turned him into one of the biggest stars in all of wrestling.

DRAGON - They won Japan by poaching Shinsuke Nakamura, Ishii and Katsuyori Shibata in 2019. Kota Ibushi left in 2019 to SSW, but has spent the last 2 years unemployed. Asuka has been in an AI all womens promotion since 2019. Matt Jackson is retired and working as a manager, while Nick Jackson left for SSW in 2019. DDT-USA poached Kenny Omega just 2 months after the draft. So the Golden Elite completely implodes, but DRAGON was able to adjust and overcome.

DDT-USA - The rich get richer. A few of us thought that DDT-USA won the draft and from there, they just kept winning (mostly). They no longer have 3 of their top 4 picks with CM Punk and the Miz leaving and the untimely death of Triple H. Don't feel too badly for them though because over the last 5 years they've raided other companies to sign Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, John Cena, Dean Ambrose, Kevin Steen, Dolph Ziggler, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, Bobby Roode, Sami Zayn, Kenny Omega, Braun Strowman Kofi Kingston (and many more). I especially begrudge the titan that is DDT-USA because he has treated my baby, the WWS, as his own personal stomping ground, signing 6 of my top 7 picks as well as many other under card workers.
