WWE 2018.... and Beyond

Let's go back in time shall we.....

 

January 1st 2018 to be exact....

 

Let's try to do 2018 better than the WWE did it and let's see what the future holds in 2019 and (hopefully) beyond...

 

Before I get into the meat and potatoes of the save I firstly would like to give an honorable mention to two TEW diary writers who I have great respect and admiration for, The Final Countdown and michgcs. Hopefully this dynasty can be as long and as successful as those two have produced in the past.

 

Now that I have got that out of the way let's get into it.....

 

I haven't chosen Vince McMahon as my user character for the simple reason I am looking to, hopefully, make this a long term so I have chosen someone alittle bit younger that Mr McMahon but I won't be revealing who he, or she, is presently as I may be using them at some point in the future.

 

As mentioned above the diary will start on January 1st 2018 and I will be incorporating some of the storyline's that where ongoing in WWE at the time into this diary but the majority of them won't be.

 

I will be cutting RAW down to a 2 hour broadcast to start with, there will be no Main Event and Smackdown will stay at 2 hours.

 

Every PPV will be dual branded with 12 PPV's a year, with maybe some special's throughout the year.

 

The next post will be the current roster which, I think, really needs to be improved upon and also a rundown of the current champions from both brands.

<p>The 1st episode of Monday Night RAW will be posted probably Tuesday so keep an eye out for that.</p><p> </p><p>

I have mentioned previously that I am going to use long term planning during this diary, something the WWE lacks at times, and because of that I have got plan's storyline's written on paper all the way up until Wrestlemania.</p><p> </p><p>

Plans may change due to injures and other unforeseen reason's but hopefully all the plan's I have up until Wrestlemania come to fruition.</p><p> </p><p>

Speaking of Wrestlemania, currently, I have 15 matches planned to take place on the show... do you think this is too many matches for a 4 hour show?</p>

This week's edition of Monday Night Raw kick's off with Paul Heyman coming to the ring and he say's that Brock Lesnar isn't here tonight which brings out the General Manager of Monday Night Raw Kurt Angle who say's that at the Royal Rumble Brock Lesnar will defend his Universal Title and his opponent will be determined tonight when Roman Reigns, Finn Bálor, Samoa Joe, John Cena, Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman compete in a 6 Way #1 Contender's match</p><p>

<p>This week on Smackdown Live the quest to crown a new United States champion will begin with an 8 man single elimination tournament.</p><p> </p><p>

The first two 1st round matches will see former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal going one on one with Bobby Roode and Baron Corbin will take on Shinsuke Nakamura.</p><p> </p><p>

The final 2 first round matches, taking place next week on Smackdown Live, will pit former tag team partners together when Zack Ryder takes on Mojo Rawley and Aiden English goes one on one with Xavier Woods.</p><p> </p><p>

Who will be crowned the new United States champion?</p>
