I'm currently doing this myself but it'll save quite a bit of time if someone already did the heavy lifting. In regards to area importance / community size etc. Various people have done this in their mods. I know my old mod doesn't use the same area set up as some others as it was specifically set to try and capture the state of the world when I started it. I can't remember who helped me with my set up (pretty sure it was Derek B) but at the time it was thought out and discussed.
